Abstract

change-newline" Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran (RPP dan LKS) dengan pendekatansaintifik pada materi turunan untuk siswa SMA kelas XI dan mengetahui kualitas perangkat pembelajaran dariaspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yangterdiri dari tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan valid karena hasil penilaian memenuhi klasifikasi minimalbaik. Penilaian RPP mendapatkan skor rata-rata 4,43 dengan klasifikasi “Sangat Baik”, sedangkan penilaian LKSmendapatkan skor rata-rata 4,1 dengan klasifikasi “Sangat Baik”. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data angket responguru dan angket respon siswa, perangkat pembelajaran dikatakan praktis karena memenuhi klasifikasi minimalbaik. Hasil angket respon guru terhadap penggunaan RPP dan LKS mendapatkan skor rata-rata 3,25 denganklasifikasi “Baik” dan angket respon siswa terhadap penggunaan LKS mendapatkan skor rata-rata 3,2 denganklasifikasi “Baik”. Perangkat pembelajaran dikatakan efektif digunakan karena persentase ketuntasan klasikal siswamencapai 84,62%.

Abstract

The ability to think critically is a process of understanding and examining a problem or object by actively considering and evaluating statements and ideas that have meaningful value. This study aims to determine students' critical thinking skills in science subjects after being given treatment by applying lecture and question-and-answer methods with the help of video learning media. This research was conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Klaseman Gatak. The study was conducted in November 2022. The research method used is pre-experimental—data analysis using a paired sample t-test. The instrument used in this study is a critical thinking ability test in the form of a description of 9 questions. Validation in this research instrument is expert validation and empirical validation. Expert validation was given to two expert lecturers, and empirical validation was given to 21 grade IV B MI Muhammadiyah Klaseman students. The study sample was 22 students in class IV A, with a population of 43. The study's results averaged a pretest score of  57.24 while the average posttest score of  63.47 obtained a significant value, 0.069>0.05, so Ho was accepted, and Ha was rejected. It can be concluded that there is no significant influence on the use of lecture and question-and-answer methods with the help of learning media on students' critical thinking skills in grade IV science subjects at Muhammadiyah Islamic Elementary School Klaseman

Abstract

Universities must be able to provide good quality education and explore all aspects of excellent service in order to improve the image of tertiary institutions to face competitive competition. In this study, the stakeholders in question are external stakeholders, namely alumni. Some of the educational services that will be discussed in this study are leadership at the faculty and study program level, learning processes carried out by lecturers, educational services carried out by employees or staff or educational staff, facilities and infrastructure or facilities obtained by students, as well as alumni institutions accommodate alumni. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence from the quality of educational services in one of the Islamic tertiary institutions on alumni satisfaction and how much the influence is. The population in this study were alumni of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Surakarta. The research sample was 300 people. The results of this study are that there is a relationship between leadership in faculties and study programs, learning processes, administrative services, facilities and infrastructure, and alumni organizations as a whole with the level of alumni satisfaction simultaneously or jointly having a positive and strong relationship to the level of alumni satisfaction of 57.7%, while 42.3% is determined by other factors.

Abstract

This research is aimed at discussing misconceptions of college students of Islamic elementary school teacher education about higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). The method used in this research is qualitative and quantitative descriptive method. This research is conducted in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The respondents are 64 fifth-semester college students of an Islamic elementary school teacher education study program, education faculty, State Islamic University of Raden Mas Said Surakarta. Twenty-five true-false questions are used to review misconceptions about HOTS. Most questions (63 %) are of medium-level difficulty, 30 % of questions are difficult, and 7 % questions are easy. Misconceptions about HOTS that are difficult for respondents, namely: (1) Kind of HOTS questions will be HOTS questions although tested at different time, (2) The questions having been made by using Bloom Taxonomy auxiliary verbs, they have been able to measure wished question level, (3) HOTS questions must be made in scientific sentences and need very good ability to understand those sentences, (4) By discussing contextual problem, automatically the questions will be HOTS, (5) Questions dealing with stimulus and contextual are always HOTS questions, and (6) LOTS (Low Order Thinking Skill) questions without stimulus will be HOTS questions by adding stimulus.

Abstract

This study aims to identifying learning difficulties from reviewing material and factors causing learning difficulties faced by Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education study program in online lectures basic concepts of biology. The research particiants were 80 third-semester in 2021/2022 academic year. The research method used quantitative. The data collection technique in this study is a survey technique. The research instrument is a questionnaires were made to collect student data regarding learning difficulties in basic concepts of biology and the factors that cause student learning difficulties. Questionnaires were given to students via a google form. The data analyzed by descriptive statistics and used as reference data to determine the learning difficulties faced by students in the form of subject matter, internal and external factors causing learning difficulties. The results showed: a) In online lectures on basic concepts of biology, the material that students consider the most difficult is genetics, b) Internal factors that cause learning difficulties are lack of preparation before lectures, too much memorization, lack of self-motivation, physical tiredness, and laziness to read the material, c) External factors that cause students’ learning difficulties in basic biology concepts lectures, namely lectures resources and materials, lecture facilities, lecture strategies, lecture environment, and lecture hours.
