Abstract

This study aims to develop new learning media using wordwall in chemistry learning, especially in the basic chemical law material at SMA Kr. Eben Haezar Manado, class X. Another objective is to evaluate the feasibility of learning media wordwall in the context of learning chemistry on basic legal material at the school. The research method used is the R&D (Research and Development) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Wordwall learning media was developed and implemented in chemistry learning in class X at SMA Kr. Eben Haezar Manado. This study provides several results, namely; The wordwall learning media that was developed received a positive response from students in class X at SMA Kr. Eben Haezar Manado. This media is considered feasible and can be used in chemistry learning basic legal material based on the validity test taken. This research has important implications in increasing the use of wordwall learning media in chemistry learning at SMA Kr. Eben Haezar Manado class X. The use of this media can increase student engagement, facilitate understanding of chemistry concepts, and improve problem solving skills. It is suggested that wordwall learning media can be integrated into the broader chemistry learning strategy in this school.

Abstract

Flipped classroom merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran di mana isi materi dan keterampilan yang biasanya diajarkan selama sesi kelas disampaikan di luar kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran flipped classroom pada materi stokiometri dalam kuliah kimia dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 35 mahasiswa kelas A di program studi pendidikan matematika Universitas Negeri Manado (Unima). Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar dengan memberikan pretest sebelum proses perkuliahan dan posttest setelah proses perkuliahan dilaksanakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa pada pretest adalah 49,33, sedangkan pada posttest meningkat menjadi 87,33. Pengujian N-Gain score menunjukkan skor sebesar 77%, yang masuk dalam kategori efektif dan tinggi. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model flipped classroom secara efektif dan signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada materi stokiometri dalam kuliah kimia dasar di program studi pendidikan matematika Unima.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics class IV at Kinilow Catholic Elementary School through the application of IT-based media. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research. Data collection techniques are observation, tests and documentation. The subjects of this study were 10 students of class IV of Kinilow Catholic Elementary School. The results of the study show that the application of IT-based media can improve student learning outcomes. As for the first cycle, student learning outcomes obtained a percentage of 62.5%, then learning outcomes in cycle 2 obtained a percentage of 86.5%. Implementation of cycle 2 by perfecting things that are lacking in cycle 1, student learning outcomes experience a significant increase and are declared successful. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the application of IT-based media can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at Kinilow Catholic Elementary School

Abstract

This research using the PTK (Classroom Action Research) method which aims to be able to find efforts to increase student activities through project-based learning models, to improve cognitive abilities and student learning interests. Learners are educational subjects considered active in shaping their chemistry learning achievement. The subjects this study is students of class XI IPA 2 SMA Dian Harapan Holland Village Manado. The focus of this research is the cognitive ability and learning interest of students. The results showed that the cognitive ability and interest in learning class XI IPA 2 SMA Dian Harapan Holland Village Manado there is an increase marked by an increase in the average score from cycle I to cycle III. There was also an increase in the activity of students. Therefore, the implementation of the Project Based Learning Model (PjBL) can provide a good and positive response for students.

Abstract

This research is intended to examine Attitude Towards Chemistry and student learning outcomes from the implementation of Discovery Learning model in Chemistry learning at Rex Mundi Catholic High School Manado. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of discovery learning model towards ATC and students' learning outcomes in chemistry learning. This research used pre-experiment research design, namely One group pretest-posttest. The research was conducted at Rex Mundi Catholic High School Manado in class X with a sample size of 30 students. Data collection was done by using ATC questionnaire and multiple choice test instrument and data analysis was done by using normality test as prerequisite test, t-test, and n-gain score. The results of data analysis for hypothesis testing showed a significant difference in ATC and student learning outcomes before and after learning with the discovery learning model. Based on statistical testing, the results of hypothesis testing of ATC and student chemistry learning outcomes were obtained, namely tcalculate, ATC =156.10 > ttable=1.699 Sig value. 0.00 and tcalculate,Posttest =63.96 > t table=1.699 Sig value. 0,00. So that from hypothesis testing it can be concluded that there are differences in ATC and student chemistry learning outcomes before and after chemistry teaching with the discovery learning model. The results of data analysis for the n-gain test showed that the average n-gain value of ATC was 61.82% and the n-gain of learning outcomes was 73.5%, including in the moderately effective category. So it can be stated that the implementation of the discovery learning model is effective.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk Mengetahui Perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan Model Pembelajaran POGIL (Process Oriented Guided Inquary Learning) Pada Materi Struktur Atom Di SMA Negeri 1 Tondano. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas X IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Tondano pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Sebanyak 20 siswa kelas X IPA 3 ditetapkan sebagai sampel penelitian. Data pengujian Hipotesis uji t diperoleh nilai thitung (18,5749) lebih besar dari ttabel 2,093 pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dengan derajat kebebasan n-1=20-1 = 19. Uji peningkatan (N-gain) diperoleh nilai 0,77 yang termasuk dalam kategori kriteria tinggi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan model pembelajaran POGIL. Terjadinya perbedaan ini diduga karena ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran POGIL. Hal ini didukung oleh uji N-Gain sebesar 0,77 yang termasuk dalam kriteria tinggi.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of implementing the PjBL model in improving the learning outcomes of class XII A students at SMA Negeri 1 Tagulandang. This research was carried out in two learning cycles and the learning stages consisted of determining basic questions, preparing a project design, creating an activity schedule, monitoring the distribution of student performance and evaluating experience. The research objects were class XII A students of SMA Negeri 1 Tagulandang for the odd semester 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 32 students. Data collection techniques include observation, learning results tests and documentation. The data analysis technique includes test results data. The results show that the level of student learning completion has increased. In cycle I, the percentage of completeness was obtained, namely 56.20% with the highest score of 88. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the percentage of completeness was obtained, namely 90.62%, with the highest score being 93. Based on the research results, the application of the PjBL model improved student learning outcomes.
