Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian asosiatif kausal dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kepemimpinan dan Kompensasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada Hotel Syariah di Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel kepemimpinan (X1), kompensasi (X2) kinerja karyawan (Y). Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini merupakan karyawan pada hotel syariah di Kota Padang yaitu Hotel Sofyan Inn Rangkayo Basa, New Rasaki Hotel The Sriwijaya Hotel dan The Abidin Hotel. Sampel berjumlah 104 karyawan yang bekerja pada hotel syariah dikota padang, Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada hotel syariah di kota padang, 2) kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada hotel syariah kota padang, 3) kepemimpinan dan kompensasi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada hotel syariah di kota padang, dengan nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,368 atau kepemimpinan dan kompensasi mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan sebesar 36,8% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variable lain

Abstract

This study is about tourist’s motivation to visit Kota Pariaman, in West Sumatra. This study has aim to determine the push factors, and pulls factors to visit Kota Pariaman. The respondents are 100 people. Based on their genders, there are 46% male and 54% female. Domestic tourists are 95%, and 5%the other nationalities. Student visitors are 28%, 18% are retired, and 64% are workers in various sectors. The result of structural equation modelling (SEM) analysis indicates that the push factor correlation has not significantly affect to the tourist visiting to the Tourism Kota Pariaman. The correlations between attractiveness factors have significantly affect to the tourist visiting to the Tourism City of Kota Pariaman. Therefore, the management of Kota Pariaman Tourism maybe directed to highlight the attractiveness of the city e.g. the uniqueness of the city, the city community activities, culture or traditions, natural beauty of the city, the availability of lodging, culinary, public facilities, visitor center, distance from the airport, the distance from the capital, and availability of transport. ABSTRAK Studi ini adalah tentang motivasi wisatawan untuk mengunjungi Kota Pariaman, di Sumatra Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan faktor pendorong, dan menarik faktor untuk mengunjungi Kota Pariaman. Responden adalah 100 orang. Berdasarkan jenis kelamin mereka, ada 46% pria dan 54% wanita. Wisatawan domestik 95%, dan 5% kebangsaan lainnya. Pengunjung pelajar adalah 28%, 18% pensiunan, dan 64% adalah pekerja di berbagai sektor. Hasil analisis pemodelan persamaan struktural (SEM) menunjukkan bahwa korelasi faktor pendorong tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kunjungan wisatawan ke Kota Pariaman. Korelasi antara faktor-faktor daya tarik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kunjungan wisatawan ke Kota Wisata Kota Pariaman. Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan Pariwisata Kota Pariaman mungkin diarahkan untuk menyoroti daya tarik kota, mis. keunikan kota, kegiatan masyarakat kota, budaya atau tradisi, keindahan alam kota, ketersediaan penginapan, kuliner, fasilitas publik, pusat pengunjung, jarak dari bandara, jarak dari ibukota, dan ketersediaan transportasi.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain the influence of halal awareness and entrepreneurial motivation on the performance of MSMEs in Padang City. A survey methodology was employed, with questionnaires distributed to 137 respondents, selected through the use of a purposive sampling technique. The sample size was determined with the assistance of the Raosoft Sample Size Calculator. Subsequently, the data were processed and tested using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21 to test the aforementioned hypothesis. The findings revealed that, of the two independent variables under investigation, namely halal awareness and entrepreneurial motivation, the variable of halal awareness exerted a more pronounced influence on the performance of MSMEs in Padang City. This is indicated by a beta value of 0.408, which suggests that an increase in halal awareness among MSME players can lead to a notable enhancement in their business performance. It is therefore recommended that MSME players in Padang City develop a deeper understanding of and implement the concept of halal awareness in their business operations. This may be achieved by registering their products for halal certification, ensuring that the production process meets halal standards, and maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the production site. It is important to note that not all clean products are necessarily halal. Rather, products that are halal must adhere to specific hygiene standards. Therefore, businesses must ensure that every stage of production meets these standards to increase consumer confidence. Furthermore, it is crucial for MSME players to participate in training or workshops pertaining to halal principles and production management in accordance with halal standards. In order to enhance the performance of MSMEs, businesses are advised to not only prioritize halal awareness, but also to consider other factors that can contribute to their performance, such as entrepreneurial competency development, enhanced human resource management, and more effective marketing strategies.

Abstract

This study seeks to assess the impact of financial literacy and religious knowledge on the propensity for sharia-compliant transactions among traders in Gandoriah Beach, Pariaman City. The sample consisted of 56 respondents. This research is quantitative. Data was acquired from primary sources and analyzed using multiple linear regression approaches, with processing conducted via SPSS Software Version 25. The data gathering approach employed a questionnaire, whilst the data analysis strategy utilized multiple linear regression analysis. The study's results indicated that financial literacy significantly influenced the propensity for Sharia-compliant transactions. The presence of financial literacy and religious awareness among traders will enhance the tendency for Sharia-compliant transactions in Gandoriah Beach, Pariaman City. Financial literacy and religious understanding concurrently exert a substantial influence on the propensity for engaging in Sharia-compliant activities
