Abstract

This service activity is the application of an innovative submersible solar pump in a hydro-organic greenhouse environment in Grangsil Jambangan, Malang Regency. This is motivated by the need for water that can only be obtained through deep wells with submersible pumps in hydro-organic greenhouses that already use solar power plants but have insufficient power. The purpose of this service is to provide theoretical and practical understanding for Tour conscious group (POKDARWIS) Jambangan members as managers of the hydro-organic greenhouse. The methods used include focus group discussions (FGD) and joint practice in developing solar power plants for submersible pumps. After the implementation of this program, there was an increase in the capacity of the solar power plants, which has been able to turn on submersible pumps, hydroganic circulation pumps, and other needs. In one day, the submersible pump only needs to be turned on for 2 hours and produces 4,572 liters of water, sufficient for greenhouse hydroganic needs and other needs. Another positive impact is that POKDARWIS Jambangan members have been able to manage and maintain PLTS for a hydro-organic greenhouse. The submersible water pump prototype for hydroganic agriculture at the greenhouse using independent energy is very practical and efficient so it is expected to become a prototype for modern agricultural facilities in the context of a national-scale food security improvement program.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi terutama panel surya sangat dibutuhkan dalam dunia industri maupun pendidikan, dengan adanya panel surya diharapkan dapat menjadi energi alternatif dalam menghasilkan arus listrik. Program pelatihan kemitraan masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan proses terjadinya panel surya kepada siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama Bani Hasyim dan memberikan contoh panel surya sehingga dapat digunakan oleh pihak sekolah. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 15 orang peserta terdiri dari siswa dan siswi SMP Bani Hasyim. Pelatihan dilakukan dalam kurun waktu satu hari, pada tanggal 1 April 2022. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian yaitu sosialisasi dan praktik penggunaan alat panel surya. Pelaksanaan terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Setelah PKM dilaksanakan, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman siswa SMP Bani Hasyim mengenai proses terbentuknya panel surya. Dengan pengetahuan ini, siswa mampu menggunakan panel surya dengan memanfaatkan energi alternatif yang digunakan di sekolah.

Abstract

Banana is one of the most popular fruits in Indonesia, and its freshness will be the top priority for consumers in choosing it. After packaging, special treatment needs to be done in the banana storage room. One of them is to keep the temperature of the storage room stable. The temperature of the room between 5oC to 10oC is the ideal temperature for storing bananas, the Control system offered is PID with the Ziegler-Nichols method to get the values of Kp, Ki and Kd. Determination of Kp, Ki and Kd values is very important to get good system stability and a small error. The tuning rule of Ziegler-Nichols 1 method can be applied to obtain the values of Kp, Ki and Kd. With several steps taken, the values of L = 90s and T = 206s are obtained and referring to the Ziegler-Nichols 1 table, the values of Kp = 2.7, Ki = 0.015 and Kd = 121.5 are determined.

Abstract

Kelurahan Dinoyo merupakan salah satu kelurahan yang terletak di Kota Malang, Jawa Timur, Indonesia. Kelurahan ini terletak di Kecamatan Lowokwaru, salah satu dari 11 kecamatan yang ada di Kota Malang. Di Kelurahan Dinoyo terdapat Kelompok PKK yang aktif pada pengembangan budidaya ikan dalam ember dan dalam kolam terpal bundar. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra antara lain; Pertama, pemanfaatan teknologi untuk budidaya ikan lele. Mitra yang yang sudah mencoba membudidayakan lele belum dilakukan secara optimal, masih sebatas budidaya dalam ember dengan lokasi budidaya tersebar di beberapa anggota mitra. Kedua, pengembangan obyek fisik; Tidak adanya fasilitas umum (fasum) aliran listrik PLN di lokasi kolam ikan lele. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilakukan antara lain: (1) Memasang Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) sebagai sumber energi listrik mandiri untuk aerator udara yang tidak bergantung pada pasokan listrik PLN, serta memberikan pelatihan operasional PLTS. (2) Memberikan edukasi (seminar) terkait peningkatan ekonomi kreatif di bidang budidaya ikan lele.

Abstract

Karena meningkatnya kebutuhan listrik masyarakat Indonesia setiap tahunnya, penelitian sedang dilakukan untuk mengubah energi matahari menjadi energi listrik yang ramah lingkungan melalui konversi panel surya yang menghasilkan arus searah (DC). Karena sebagian besar panel surya diletakkan dalam posisi statis atau tidak bergerak, kemampuannya dalam menyerap sinar matahari tidak maksimal. Dengan menggunakan solar tracking sumbu ganda, posisi panel surya harus selalu melacak pergerakan cahaya matahari guna memaksimalkan energi matahari. Untuk mengetahui cara terbaik dalam menyerap sinar matahari, penelitian ini akan membandingkan daya listrik yang dihasilkan panel surya dengan dan tanpa solar tracking (statis). Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi komparatif untuk mengetahui perbedaan keluaran daya antara solar tracking dan panel surya statis. Tegangan (V) diukur dengan multimeter, dan arus (I) diukur dengan tang ampere. Empat sensor LDR digunakan pada pelacak surya ini untuk mendeteksi sinar matahari. Mikrokontroler Arduino membaca keluaran sensor LDR dan menyalurkannya ke motor servo yang menggerakkan panel surya. Pengujian menggunakan panel surya statis dan solar pelacak, serta pengumpulan data arus (Ampere) dan tegangan (Volt) selama delapan jam, mulai pukul 08.00 WIB hingga pukul 16.00 WIB. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran tegangan dan arus diperoleh daya total (P) sebesar 6,30 W tanpa solar tracking (statis) dan 30,37 W dengan menggunakan solar tracking. Hasil perhitungan panel surya dengan solar tracking dan tanpa solar tracking memperoleh persentase arus sebesar 78,37% dan daya sebesar 79,26%. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa panel surya dengan menggunakan solar tracking lebih efisien dan optimal dalam menyerap sinar matahari dibandingkan tanpa solar tracking (statis).

Abstract

Usaha kripik daun sirih di Kelurahan Pisang Candi Kota Malang menghadapi tantangan dalam menghasilkan produk berkualitas akibat tingginya kadar minyak yang tertinggal setelah proses penggorengan. Minyak berlebih pada kripik tidak hanya mempengaruhi cita rasa, tetapi juga menurunkan daya tahan produk. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan mesin peniris minyak yang dilengkapi dengan kontrol kecepatan putar. Mesin ini dirancang untuk meniriskan minyak secara efisien tanpa merusak struktur kripik, dengan mengatur kecepatan putar yang sesuai untuk menjaga integritas produk. Hasil pengujian dari penggunaan mesin peniris minyak dengan kontrol kecepatan putar menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan mesin ini berhasil mengurangi kadar minyak pada kripik daun sirih sebesar 90% selama 2 menit tanpa merusak tekstur kripik daun sirih, hal ini meningkatkan kualitas tekstur dan daya simpan produk. Melalui pengabdian ini, diharapkan teknologi dapat membantu meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas produksi kripik rumah tangga, serta berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

The development of the city has made a lot of agricultural land turned into residential land and other urban facilities so that agricultural land becomes increasingly narrow so that it can weaken the food safety program. Another way is needed to utilize narrow land in an effort to develop agricultural products, namely by farming and maintaining fish hydroganic. Hydroganic comes from the words "Hydro" and "Organic" which are defined as organic cultivation systems by combining the hydro system and the organic system. The main source of nutrition from hydroganic is obtained from solid and liquid organic fertilizer and fish pond water that is treated as plant nutrition. The Hydroganic Technology Dissemination Program with independent electricity sources from solar power plants was carried out in Kampung Bunga Grangsil, Jambangan Village, Dampit District, Malang Regency. Communities that are the perpetrators of the activities are the Tourism Awareness Group "Kampoeng Boenga Grangsil" and the "Syakura Arum" Farmer Women's Group. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative method, beginning with the design, the creation of an Independent Energy Hydroganic Greenhouse and the planting of vegetables and fish stocking. Retrieval of data in the form of observations and documentation of photos and videos on activities: a) lectures and discussions; b) practice of making bamboo structures greenhouses; c) the practice of installing hydroganic plants; d) the practice of installing solar power plants; e) Hydroganic vegetable and fish growing practices. Through this program the construction of a tunnel-shaped greenhouse with bamboo structure has been carried out successfully, 2 (two) hydroganic farming facilities complete with fish ponds, 1 (one) solar power generation unit consisting of 4 solar panels each with a capacity of 100 wp with energy storage in the form of a 100 AH 12 V battery and a 1000 WH inverter in sunny conditions producing a minimum of 13.6 Amp, 18.8 V can meet the energy needs to drive the water circulation pump and greenhouse lighting lamps and the surrounding environment. Planting sla and mustard greens as well as spreading catfish and tilapia in mid-August 2019, lettuce vegetables can be harvested at the end of September 2019. The success that can be seen is that when farmers cannot grow vegetables in dry land, the vegetable plants in this hydroganic greenhouse remain fertile and healthy because water circulation occurs continuously. Tunnel-shaped greenhouse with bamboo structure using independent energy for hydropower farming is very practical, efficient and quick to build and can be planted with vegetables and spread fish throughout the year without pause is expected to be a prototype of modern agricultural and fishery facilities without relying on the rainy or dry season in the framework of the program increase national scale food safety. DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/lw.v12i1.3676

Abstract

a Speech Recognition is a system used to recognize word commands from human voices and then translated them into data that can be understood by a computer. The advantages of Speech Recognition include speed and ease of use. Merdeka Malang is a private university founded on January 29, 1964. The University of Merdeka Malang still doesn’t have a strategy in recommending new students based on historical data calculations in choosing faculties. and majors. In calculating the history, if you use a manual system, they will be constrained by the time and accuracy of the data, causing the data to be less valid.Therefore, there is a need for a system that can exchange data in real-time so that the data displayed is always up to date without manual data updating. This process is useful for monitoring and accelerating the process of calculating student interest data, which can later be recommended to future new students. Moreover, The speech technique used is using speech recognition which is used for processing speech data on smartphones while sending data using the XAMPP web server which is used to exchange data from smartphones to servers.

Abstract

In terms of cultivating lettuce using hydroponic media there are several things that mustbe considered such as pH levels, water temperature and sufficient light requirements.Manually checking is done so badly by the farmer that it takes a lot of time, therefore an automation system is needed in this case to overcome routine checks. This system is an alternative to modern control systems to optimize the control of pH levels, water temperature of Arduino-based lettuce plants, and the addition of a 40 watt LED lamp, pH measurement using the SEN0161 pH sensor, for measuring water temperature using the Ds18b20 sensor. Control of pH and water temperature is carried out automatically, using a peltier as a coolant and a selenoid valve as a dropping liquid pH until it reaches the required value, i.e., a pH level of 6.0-7.0, a water temperature <27 ° C and a 40 watt LED lamp as an addition to light intake in plants The stability of water temperature and pH levels that are always maintained by this tool can save time for farmers in routine checking of pH and water temperature, this tool also produces better growth of lettuce compared to the usual method.

Abstract

A wheelchair is a mobility aid for people who have special needs, one of which is a disability. Usually this wheelchair is in the form of a manual wheelchair, which requires the help of another person to push the wheelchair. However, as time and technology have progressed, many studies have designed wheelchairs to be electric so that users will find it easier. This study aims to make new innovations so that users do not have difficulty using a wheelchair by controlling the wheelchair using a smartphone so that users are more comfortable. The components we use are a 12 v power windod motor as the ESP32 wheel drive for microcontrollers, line sensors to read ultrasonic sensor paths for detecting obstacles and the blynk application for monitoring the wheelchair thoroughly. the designer for IoT on this wheelchair can carry a large load of 80 kg with a distance of 20m and for how to control this wheelchair depends on the network
