Abstract

This article aims to analyze the contestation and reintegration of Islamic values ​​in the Tabot tradition of the West Coast coastal community of Sumatra, especially Bengkulu Province, on awareness of disaster mitigation. The method used is through direct interviews conducted in depth to selected informants which include religious leaders, traditional leaders, community leaders and disaster experts. The results show that there is a contestation of implementation and meaning in the Tabot tradition. Tabot which was the beginning of religious activities became a cultural activity to become a joint activity and even something that the Bengkulu people had been waiting for. The Tabot tradition forms trust and is interpreted as a goal for the ancestors, by rejecting balak (disaster), various things in life and bringing peace. This local knowledge is passed down from generation to generation and is used as a local-based disaster mitigation.

Abstract

This research  is motivated by the independence of learning that is realized by every student,  but this is not optimal, especially in learning Islamic Religious Education. The role of school learning environment is very influential on the success of the learning process,  in addition  to the low learning motivation to be one of the factors that make students  have  not achieved the independence of learning Islamic Education maximum. The purpose of this research  is first to know the influence of school learning  environment to the independence of learning  Islamic Religious Education to students  in SD Negeri 14 Bengkulu  Se- latan,  secondly to know the influence of learning motivation to self-reliance learning Islamic Religion on students  at SD Negeri14  Bengkulu  Selatan, third  to know  A simultaneous positive  influence  between  school  learning  environments and  learning motivation on the independence of learning Islamic Religious Education on students  at SD Negeri 14 Bengkulu Selatan. With correlation  coefficient between  X2 and Y equal to 0,787  which show strong correlation  and correlation  equal to 62,0%.  Thirdly, there is simultaneously an influence between  school learning environment and learning motivation toward self-reliance learning of Islamic Religious Education in SD Negeri 14 Bengkulu  Selatan  with correlation  coefficient between  X1 and  X2 together  to Y equal  to 0,808  which shows at very strong relation level with correlation  equal  to 65 , 4% and  Y regression  result of X1 and X2, regression  equation obtained Y = 5,498  + 0,229  + 0,627

Abstract

Desa Babatan Saudagar, berlokasi di Kecamatan Pemulutan. Warga di desa tersebut menjadikan Sungai Ogan sebagai sumber air sebagai aktivitas sehari-hari. Namun, seiring dengan meningkatnya pembangunan dan aktivitas industri di sekitar sungai, kualitas air mengalami penurunan akibat limbah dan pencemaran. Sebagian besar penduduk menggunakan air sungai untuk mandi dan mencuci, sementara untuk konsumsi, mereka mengandalkan air isi ulang. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penyuluhan agar masyarakat dapat mengolah air sungai menjadi air bersih secara sederhana melalui kegiatan sosialisasi (penjelasan) tentang karakteristik air bersih dan praktek (pendampingan) menggunakan filter air sederhana. Dengan menggunakan filter tersebut, diharapkan masyarakat Desa Babatan Saudagar dapat menghasilkan air bersih secara mandiri, menghindari konsumsi air yang belum diolah dari sungai, dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter Islam kepada anak-anak TPA Babussalam Palembang melalui metode kisah Qurani (Qashashul Quran). Anak-anak usia dini cenderung lebih mudah menyerap nilai melalui pendekatan naratif yang menyentuh emosi dan imajinasi. Kisah para nabi dalam Al-Qur’an digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran karakter, seperti kejujuran (Nabi Yusuf), kesabaran (Nabi Ayyub), dan tolong-menolong (kisah Ashabul Kahfi). Metode yang digunakan pada saat kegiatan ini meliputi : Storytelling interaktif oleh pemateri, tanya jawab dan diskusi nilai dari kisah, aktivitas menggambar kisah dan game edukatif berbasis nilai dari kisah yang sudah diceritakan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan dari Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Kisah Qurani (Qashashul Quran) diperoleh hasil yang sangat baik dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dari kisah-kisah nabi di dalam Al-Qur’an merupakan kegiatan yang positif dan harus dijadikan sebagai kegiatan berkelanjutan untuk anak-anak di TPA Babussalam.
