Abstract

Upaya manusia untuk menciptakan kondisi yang lebih sejuk dilakukan dengan sistem Air Conditioning (AC), salah satu AC yang digunakan pada sistem transportasi yaitu AC mobil. Coefficient of Performance (COP) merupakan perbandingan efek refrigerasi dengan kerja kompresor. Efek refrigerasi dikalkulasikan dari besarnya enthalpy refrigerant yang masuk kompresor atau enthalpy yang keluar dari evaporator dibagi dengan enthalpy refrigerant yang masuk evaporator atau enthalpy sesudah katup ekspansi. Secara lebih jelas bahwa Coefficient of Performance (COP) adalah perbandingan efektifitas pendinginan evaporator dengan kerja yang diberikan kompresor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung dan membandingkan Coefficient of Performance Refrigerant jenis R-134A, HFC-134 dan MC-134. Metode yang digunakan adalah secara eksperimental dengan mengkaji nilai efisiensi dari AC mobil toyota avanza 1.3cc dengan variasi Freon R 134A, HFC 134A dan MC 134. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai COP aktual dan COPideal yang terbaik menggunakan MC-134 karena nilai konduktivitas termal MC-134 paling tinggi sehingga kalor yang diserap evaporator lebih tinggi yang membuat nilai dari COP yang didapat lebih tinggi. Untuk efisiensi kompresor yang terbaik menggunakan HFC-134 karena nilai viskositas dan densitas dari HFC-134 lebih tinggi yang membuat kerja kompresor lebih ringan sehingga membuat efisiensi kompresor lebih tinggi

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine which shape of alaban bark charcoal waste briquettes is the most efficient according to its combustion characteristics. This research was conducted using experimental methods in the laboratory. It starts from filtering the charcoal waste, compressing into the wanted shapes and then combustion characteristics test. The manufactured briquettes are using 20 and 40 mesh of particle sizes, 50 kg/cm2 and 100 kg/cm2 holding pressure. The ratio between alaban charcoal waste and rice husk is 90 : 10, with 22 gram as the weight each. The shapes are solid cylinder and hollow cylinder. Combustion characteristic test used to determine the initial ignition, combustion rate and combustion temperatur. The results showed that hollow cylinder briquettes with 40 mesh particle size and 100 kg/cm2 holding pressure had the most efficient initial ignition and combustion rates with the combustion rate of 0,22 g/min. Meanwhile solid cylinder briquettes with 40 mesh particle size and 50 kg/cm2 holding pressure had the lowest initial ignition and combustion rates which is 0,14 g/min for the latter.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has increased the demand for coding skills among students as one of the essential competencies in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0 eras. However, many high school students have limited opportunities to learn programming through formal education. This community service activity aimed to improve the coding competence of students at MAN Kota Banjarbaru through intensive coding training that combined theoretical explanations with hands-on programming practice. The activity involved 12 students who participated in classroom instruction, guided practice, discussions, and evaluations using a structured questionnaire consisting of four dimensions: training quality, self-efficacy, coding competence, and learning interest. Evaluation results showed that participants perceived the training positively. The average scores for training quality (3.70), self-efficacy (3.44), coding competence (3.41), and learning interest (3.70) indicate that the program successfully enhanced students' understanding, confidence, and motivation to continue learning programming. The findings demonstrate that practical coding training is an effective community service approach for strengthening students' digital competencies and fostering greater interest in information technology).

Abstract

Human spiritual life depends on religious motivation, which directs them to behave in accordance with divine teachings. The purpose of this study is to examine the true nature of religious motivation, the Islamic psychological perspective on motivation, and the classification of religious motivations found in Muslims. The method used was a study of religious literature, including literature on the psychology of religion, as well as the text of the Quran. The results indicate that the Islamic religious motivation stems from human nature to seek protection and tranquility in Allah SWT. This motivation is divided into intrinsic and extrinsic aspects, and is influenced by elements of the physical, spiritual, and spiritual dimensions. Therefore, strong religious motivation serves as a primary driver for maintaining consistent worship and building positive character amidst the challenges of the times.

Abstract

The utilization of purun tikus (Eleocharis dulcis) fiber as a reinforcement material for composites has considerable potential due to its high cellulose content. However, the hydrophilic nature of this fiber limits its interfacial bonding with the matrix, thus requiring chemical treatment to enhance its performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of varying alkali treatment durations using KOH solution on the mechanical properties of single purun tikus fibers. The alkali treatment was conducted by immersion for 3, 6, 9, and 12 hours. Mechanical tests included tensile and pull-out tests to evaluate tensile strength, elongation, elastic modulus, and interfacial shear strength (IFSS). The results showed that treatment for 3 hours provided the most significant improvement, with tensile strength reaching 75.25 MPa, elastic modulus of 12,137.5 MPa, and IFSS of 13.78 MPa. This improvement is attributed to the removal of lignin and hemicellulose, which enhanced fiber–matrix interfacial bonding. Conversely, longer treatment durations led to cellulose degradation and decreased mechanical performance. Therefore, the optimum alkali treatment duration using KOH for purun tikus fibers is 3 hours, which yields maximum improvements in mechanical strength and interfacial bonding quality.
