Abstract

The rise of television programs has an impact on the audience who watch them. This influence can have a positive or negative impact depending on the type of impression itself. If a show is watched for a long enough period of time and repeatedly, it will have an impact on the audience. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence watching the Indonesian Bagus program on NET TV with the level of knowledge about culture and cultural attitudes of the students of MAN Baturaja, South Sumatra. This study uses a quantitative explanatory approach with an experimental design. The theory used is cultivation which was developed to explain the impact of watching television for heavy viewers. George Gerbner stated that for heavy viewers of television, it will essentially monopolize and include information sources. The result of this research is if a show will not affect the heavy viewers audience. However, a show can have an impact, depending on the quality of the show itself.

Abstract

Tourism development as part of national development has a goal, among others, to expand business opportunities and employment opportunities. Facing the challenges during the current pandemic, efforts must be made to develop tourism and the creative economy of the coastal area of ​​Pesawaran Lampung, namely by collecting innovative ideas that become prototypes in the development of tourism and a sustainable creative economy that can be realized. The presence of social media provides significant opportunities for tourism. Therefore, social media and digital tourism are in harmony in the digital world. There are many ways to communicate through social media. Through social media, you can find, interact, and provide information with other people easily. This has an impact on drastically increasing digital tourism opportunities. The formulation of the problem of this research is how the role of Instagram media in the development of Pahawang beach tourism and the creative economy after the Covid-19 pandemic and the purpose of this research is also to find out the role of Instagram media in the development of Pahawang beach tourism and the creative economy after the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is qualitative, namely data obtained and collected from the research process which is presented in the form of sentences. The results of qualitative research contain excerpts from the data.

Abstract

Dari awal pandemi hadir di Indonesia hingga saat ini ketika pandemi sudah tidak semeningkat dua tahun silam, namun masih banyak aturan yang harus diperhatikan oleh pengguna kereta api. Namun yang sering terjadi adalah banyak penumpang yang masih belum mengetahui informasi penting terkait aturan naik kereta api yang terbaru. Hal tersebut juga tidak terlepas dari bagaimana peran public reations dalam membantu menyebarkan informasi agar penumpang mengetahui akan aturan-aturan terbaru yang diterapkan oleh KAI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi apa yang digunakan oleh public relations di stasiun kereta api Kotabumi. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teori Citra dalam Public Relations dan Teori Dependensi Efek Komunikasi Massa, yang mana membahas terkait kondisi masyarakat karena efek media massa. Dalam penelitian ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan jika strategi public relations yang diterapkan oleh stasiun kereta api Kotabumi adalah berupa penyampaian informasi penting melalui banner, pamflet, desain yang menarik, serta kerjasama dalam penyampaian informasi, dan sesuai dengan teori citra public relations serta teori Dependensi Efek Komunikasi Massa yang membuat masyarakat mengikuti aturan yang telah disampaikan oleh stasiun kereta api kotabumi.

Abstract

Tempo magazine is one of the media that is in the line of 'loving' Jokowi. Tempo Magazine doubled Jokowi in the 2014 election as a modest man and a hobby of blusukan. This is based on the total duration, frequency, and tendency of the object of the news to Jokowi. Jokowi's image, which was initially positive, especially during the 2014 presidential election campaign, immediately changed after Jokowi became president in the news of Tempo Magazine. This was proven by Tempo Magazine supporting Jokowi during the 2014 presidential election because it was based on his ideology that Prabowo Subianto was a human rights criminal. In the 5-11 August 2013 edition of Tempo Magazine, they gave the title “Suddenly Jokowi” with a picture of Jokowi singing in pause. This tendency is a form of the failure of Tempo Magazine to become a balanced media. Tempo magazine chose issues, used angles, and published 11 out of 20 total Main Reports using the glittering generalities propaganda technique. The theory used is from Branston and Stafford (2003: 117-133) namely marxist approaches, post-marxism and critical pluralism, and discourses and lived culture. The relevant concepts are mukhtalif, kabilah, dan al-hadarah. Tempo Magazine's reporting sparked polarization, as seen from the concentration in political currents and ideology. The existence of this news as a political message that is more effective in raising issues to the public.

Abstract

Sahabat Magazine is a family magazine that was formed in 2016. Sahabat Magazine is a family magazine that is packaged in an Islamic way with various complete rubrics, ranging from; The Islamic World, Figures, Communities, Entrepreneurs, Children's Work, and many others. Sahabat Magazine is one of the print media that still exists in today's digital era. In addition, Sahabat magazine also uses image illustrations in each of the presented rubrics. The composition of the rubric is also included in the cover of the magazine which makes it interesting. The Islamic messages to be conveyed are also depicted from the symbols, text meanings, and images on the cover of Sahabat magazine. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method which is carried out by describing and analyzing the existing data. And this analysis uses Roland Barthes' Semiotics theory which discusses the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myth in the rubric found on the cover of Sahabat magazine. The analysis of this research uses the cover of Sahabat magazine Agustus – Oktober 2021 edition. The researcher concludes that the cover of Sahabat magazine is composed of denotative, connotative, and mythical markers that are related to each other and contain da'wah messages that are packaged lightly in the Islamic rubric.

Abstract

Film is one form of mass communication that is popular in Indonesia. Film is the result of a creative process combined with today's technology. Film, which is part of the mass media, is a medium of communication. Asma Amr Movie. Salama is a film that depicts the existence of Egyptian women and their struggle against the stigma of discrimination. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. This study also uses a qualitative approach and constructivism paradigm as well as narrative analysis by Tzvetan Todorov. The conclusion is the narrative of the story can be seen. There is an element of feminism, so the researcher sees a conformity with the theory by Tzvetan Todorov.

Abstract

Communication is a crucial part of social life within a community. In this digital era, communication and interaction between individuals can take place through various means, one of which is social media. In many human activities, effective communication is essential to ensure that messages reach the recipients successfully. Persuasive communication is particularly important for influencing recipients in specific contexts, such as promoting the communication science program at UMKO. This research adopts a qualitative approach with interview data collection techniques. The purpose of persuasive communication by UMKO communication science students in promotions is to attract the interest of prospective students to the communication science program itself. Promotion efforts are carried out through social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Persuasive communication on social media proves to be quite effective, given the widespread use of these platforms for obtaining desired information. Through persuasive communication in promotional activities, it aims to influence prospective students pursuing higher education at the university level to choose the communication science program.

Abstract

Dalam kehidupan manusia sehari-hari antara manusia satu dengan manusia yang lain dihidupkan oleh interaksi melalui komunikasi. Komunikasi profetik merupakan komunikasi yang mengacu kepada pola komunikasi kenabian Muhammad. Paradigma ini merupakan pengembangan dari konsep ilmu sosial profetik (ISP) yang pernah digagas oleh ilmuan Islam kontemporer yakni Kuntowijoyo yang terinspirasi dari Q.S. Al Imran :110. Pienulisan ini biertujuan miengkaji Prinsip kominikasi Profietik yang miembangun dimiensi sosiologis manusia, yaitu hubungan antara manusia satu diengan manusia lainya dalam lingkup kieluarga. Jadi profietik dalam kontieks komunikasi di sini dimaksudkan untuk mienjielaskan makna prinsip komunikasi kienabian dalam pienierapanya di kiehidupan kieluarga. Mietodie yang digunakan pada pienielitian ini adalah diengan mienggunakan corak library riesieach, sierta mietodie yang digunakan adalah mietodie dieskriptif kualitatif. Sumbier primier pada kajian ini adalah buku Komunukasi Profietik: Konsiep dan Piendiekatan. Sumbier siekundier mierupakan buku-buku dan artikiel-artikiel yang bierkaitan diengan pienielitian ini. Hasil dari pienielitian ini ditiemukan prinsip komunikasi profietik tierhadap lingkup kieluarga, yang prinsip itu antara lain: Qaulan layyinan (pierkataan yang liembut), Qaulan kariman (mulia), Qaulan maisuran (bahasa yang mudah dipahami), Qaulan ma'rufan (miengierjakan kiebaikan), Qaulan sadidan (lurus atau adil) Qoulan Balighan (mienggunakan bahasa yang siesuai). Komunikasi Profietik dalam tujuan penulisan disini dimaksudkan untuk mengambil makna prinsip komunikasi kenabian dan dalam penerapanya di kehidupan lingkup keluarga saat ini.

Abstract

The system can be defined as an organized component or variable that interacts with each other to carry out the same goal, resulting in input, output processing. Analysis of Information Systems at Diskominfo North Lampung is part of the use of developing a system, especially Diskominfo North Lampung has four main areas, namely, E-government, Statistics, coding, and infocomm, all of which are interrelated, the analysis is carried out using interviews and direct observation methods, The purpose of this analysis is to determine the performance of information systems in each field in Diskominfo North Lampung, especially in conveying information. As a result of these observations, there are several things that must be addressed, ranging from manual archiving which should be converted to digital, the delivery of information should follow media trends and submission of problems in the scope of the website. From the analysis carried out, it produces an output in the form of advice on the livelihood of information media in accordance with trends and prototypes of the Appoinmen system that will be used as a means of consultation about website problems within the North Lampung agency with the instruments used Flowcard, user and admin data, and the figma application UI/UX design software Appointment.
