Abstract

Parents in the digital era are in a complex position they are expected to possess knowledge and adapt to rapid technological advancements while still fulfilling their primary role of educating and guiding their children. In reality, there is a significant digital gap between generations in society. Digital parenting education is an appropriate solution to bridge the gap between the younger and older generations. Through digital parenting education, parents gain knowledge, skills, an understanding of the benefits and risks of digital usage, as well as parenting strategies that align with technological and informational developments in the digital age. This serves as an effort to mitigate digital disasters affecting children. The goal of this outreach program for parents is to provide education on digital parenting literacy so that parents can improve the quality of communication patterns within the family and reduce the risk of excessive gadget use among children. This is achieved by encouraging parents to implement gadget-use agreements through two-way communication. The method used in this community service activity was educational outreach to members of Fatayat NU Landungsari branch. The activity was attended by around 45 members of Fatayat NU from the Landungsari branch, who also served as partners in this initiative. The results of the activity, based on post-tests and interviews, indicated that the mothers gained new knowledge about the importance of supervising children’s gadget use. They also developed an understanding of the negative impacts of uncontrolled gadget use, ranging from academic consequences to the child’s psychological and emotional condition. The participants committed to engaging in two-way communication with their children so that the children can learn to use gadgets wisely and appropriately.Orang tua di era digital berada pada posisi yang kompleks, mereka dituntut untuk memiliki pengetahuan dan beradaptasi terhadap perkembangan teknologi yang secara cepat sembari mereka tetap wajib menjalankan peran primer mereka dalam mendidik dan mengarahkan anak-anak mereka. Kenyataannya bahwa di masyarakat terjadi kesenjangan digital antar generasi yang sangat signifikan, edukasi parenting digital merupakan solusi yang tepat dalam menjembatani kesenjangan yang terjadi antara generasi anak dan orang tua. Melalui edukasi parenting digital orang tua memperoleh pengetahuan, keterampilan, manfaat dan risiko penggunaan digital serta strategi pengasuhan yang sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi dan informasi di era digital, hal ini sebagai upaya mitigasi bencana digital pada anak. Tujuan penyuluhan kepada orang tua adalah untuk memberikan edukasi tentang literasi digital parenting, agar orang tua mampu memperbaiki kualitas pola komunikasi dalam keluarga dan menurunkan resiko perilaku penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan pada anak karena orang tua berupaya menerapkan perjanjian penggunaan gadget dengan komunikasi dua arah. Metode kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dengan menggunakan penyuluhan kepada ibu-ibu Fatayat NU cabang Landungsari, kegiatan ini diikuti sekitar 45 ibu-ibu Fatayat NU cabang Landungsari, mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah Fatayat NU cabang Landungsari. Hasil kegiatan ini berdasarkan pada post test dan wawancara adalah bahwa ibu-ibu memiliki pengetahuan baru tentang pentingnya pendampingan penggunaan gadget pada anak, memahami dampak negatif ketika anak tidak dikontrol dalam penggunaan gadget dari dampak akademis hingga kondisi psikologis atau emosi anak, peserta berkomitmen untuk melakukan komunikasi dua arah dengan anak agar mereka mampu menggunakan gadget secara bijak dan sesuai kebutuhan.

Abstract

Health Behavior Models and Mental Health Literacy in Realizing Family Resilience. Objektive: The family is the most important unit in forming health behavior to create a resilient family that is happy and prosperous as the basic foundation for the integrity of strength and sustainable development, thus the family is the heart of an individual's life. To live a life, the main key is physical and mental health, if the condition of the body and soul is healthy, then individual activities and activities will run smoothly and in accordance with expectations. The aim of this research is to obtain a fit model between mental health literacy and health behavior to increase family resilience. In addition, it examines the relationship between mental health literacy and health behavior to increase family resilience. Method: The method in this research is quantitative by conducting model tests using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The subjects in this research were 125 married families, men and women throughout Indonesia. The measuring instrument used is the health belief model scale for exercise (HBMS-E), while mental health literacy uses the Mental Health Literacy Questionnaire- for adults (MHLq-fA) and family resilience uses the family functioning style scale measuring instrument. (FFSS). Finding: The research results show a relationship between mental health literacy and health behavior to increase family resilience. BesidesThe modified model obtained shows that there is no difference between the model and the data. So the model is theorized fit with data. Abstract

Abstrak: Pentingnya pemahaman perilaku sehat sejak usia dini dapat berdampak positif bagi tumbuh kembang anak. Salah satu perilaku sehat pada anak yaitu menggosok gigi. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku menggosok gigi pada anak taman kanak-kanak dengan menggunakan metode dongeng. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian eksperimen dengan desain the one-group pretest-posttest. Hasilnya diperoleh nilai Z = -3.241 dengan signifikansi 0.001 (<0.05) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode dongeng efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku anak.           Kata kunci: Dongeng, Perilaku, Menggosok, Gigi, AnakAbstract: The importance of understanding healthy behavior from early age has positive impact on children development. One of the healthy behaviors in children is brushing teeth. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to improve knowledge and behavior of brushing teeth in children by using fairytale method. The research method used is experimental research with the one-group pretest-posttest design. The result is Z = -3.241 with significance of 0.001 (<0.05) it can be concluded that the fairytale method is effective in improving child knowledge and behavior.Keywords: Storytelling, Behavior, Brushing, Teeth, Child

Abstract

This research aims to develop pro-environmental behavior strategies of community in sustainable development. This research is qualitative research, which emphasized on understanding certain phenomena in depth, explained descriptively in order to explain the description of people's pro-environmental behavior according to conditions in the field objectively and comprehensively. The research was conducted in October 2023, located in Turigede Village, Kepohbaru District, Bojonegoro Regency. The results of this research indicate that Turigede Village Community has carried out several aspects of pro-environmental behavior in the form of saving electrical energy, mobility and transportation, collecting rubbish that could be resold, as well as being enthusiastic about participating in community service. Government and the environmental conditions of the village still have many wild bushes and bamboo forests. Meanwhile, the supporting factors for community pro-environmental behavior are cognitive factors in the form of community knowledge. It explains how to care for the environment and situational factors consisting of villages having various institutions whose functions can be optimized

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran resiliensi dari pengungsi konflik Sampang.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan wawancara dan observasi sebagai metode untuk mengumpulkan data dan menggunakan metode analisis tematik data dengan subjek yang berjumlah 2 orang pengungsi konflik tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua pengungsi resilien terhadap tekanan dan permasalahan yang terjadi di tempat pengungsian dimana hal itu di buktikan dengan adanya sumber resiliensi yaitu faktor I am, I have, dan I can serta 7 kemampuan resiliensi yaitu kemampuan regulai emosi, pengendalian impuls, analisis kausal, efikasi diri, optimisme, empati, dan reaching out pada kedua subjek.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran perfeksionisme terhadap strategi coping pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 110 orang mahasiswa tingkat akhir FISIP Universitas Brawijaya dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dimensi self oriented perfectionism dan socially prescribed perfectionism dengan problem focused coping, namun tidak berhubungan signifikan dengan emotional focused coping. Selain itu, dimensi other oriented perfectionism tidak berhubungan signifikan baik dengan problem focused coping maupun emotional focused coping. Berdasarkan hasil analisis chi square, hanya dimensi self oriented perfectionism yang berperan dalam memprediksi problem focused coping pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir.

Abstract

In this research, we aimed to examine the relationship between body dissatisfaction and three aspects of subjective well-being, which included life satisfaction, positive affect, and negative affect. Drawing from accidental sampling, participants were 306 women between the ages of 18 and 25 years who were in the period of emerging adulthood and domiciled in Malang, East Java. Designed as a correlational survey, results in this research revealed that high levels of body dissatisfaction corresponded with low levels of life satisfaction and positive affect. Conversely, high levels of body dissatisfaction corresponded with high levels of negative affect. We explain the theoretical implications of these empirical findings in the discussion section, which also highlights the limitations of the present work as well as recommendations for follow-up studies to overcome these limitations. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara body dissatisfaction dan tiga aspek subjective well-being, yang mencakup kepuasan hidup, afek positif, dan afek negatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 306 perempuan berusia 18-25 tahun yang berada pada masa emerging adulthood dan berdomisili di Kota Malang, Jawa Timur, yang direkrut atas dasar accidental sampling. Studi korelasional dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingginya body dissatisfaction berkaitan dengan rendahnya kepuasaan hidup dan afek positif. Sebaliknya, tingginya body dissatisfaction berkaitan dengan tingginya afek negatif. Implikasi teoritis dari temuan-temuan empiris ini dielaborasi di bagian diskusi, yang juga membahas kelemahan-kelemahan dalam penelitian ini serta rekomendasi studi lanjutan untuk menutupi kelemahan-kelamahan tersebut.Â
