Abstract

Purpose: This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and insight to students regarding strategies for dealing with questions in the TOEFL so that they can prepare for the real TOEFL test. The mastery of English skills especially TOEFL needs to be carried out as the alternative solution for students in preparing for graduation and working. Method: The methods used in this activity are training, coaching, monitoring, and evaluation. Results: This activity has achieved the expected goal of increasing students' knowledge and insight regarding the fast and appropriate way that can be applied in answering TOEFL questions. Conclusions: Based on tutorial observations for approximately 3 months of participating in TOEFL training, it shows that students' understanding in mastering the TOEFL material increased quite significantly.

Abstract

Teaching is a dynamic process that involves a quick decision-making process and is also an activity that refers to what students need. This decision-making process often appears as a reflection of what the teacher believes and also as a reflection of the theory adopted by the institution where the teacher works. This can then be said as evidence to claim that the concept (belief) that is believed by the teacher influences the decisions about learning practices and influences the activities that the teacher does in the classroom. Every teacher has belief as a basic reference that they believe in teaching as well as a reference for overcoming obstacles that occur in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. This study will examine whether there is a difference between perceptions language teacher of English in the Faculty of Economics and Business and the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in Unila. This study uses English lecturer as the sample from two different faculties in Unila. The questionnaire is distributed to selected respondents and will then be analyzed descriptively and qualitatively.Keywords: Teaching belief, perception, English Lecturer, EFL.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this activity is to increase the literacy of MSME actors in Bandar Lampung about Sharia financial. Method: The methodology in this activity is lecture and discussion. The Unila FEB team made a presentation on syaria finance contracts and a discussion session was held at the end of the session. Results: There is an increase in participants' knowledge from 40 to 75. This indicates an increase in sharia financial literacy for participants. Conclusions: This service activity has been carried out with a total of 20 participants. The results of this socialization are expected to provide additional knowledge and experience for MSME actors which can be seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test. During the activity, the participants looked enthusiastic and enthusiastic in asking questions. Limitations: this activity only discuss about contracts (akad) that implemented in financial. Contribution: Increasing Sharia financial literacy for MSME actors in Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of the community service done is to develop the online marketing of building materials stores owned by Artha Jaya Village-Owned Enterprises or commonly known as BUMDes Artha Jaya so that the manager of BUMDes can still increase sales during pandemic through online sales like social media Methodology/approach: The implementation of the activity used a participatory approach through a direct approach by involving BUMDes in carrying out the stages of activities consisting of preparation and implementation. In each of these activities, BUMDes and the service team carried out and compiled digital marketing of social media and e-commerce. Results/findings: The development of digital marketing in BUMDes Artha Jaya only appeared in certain types of digital marketing, namely social media marketing through the Whatsapp application and content marketing, therefore by carrying out digital marketing at BUMDes Artha Jaya accompanied by training on BUMDes administrators could assist BUMDes in promoting  their business. Conclusion: BUMDes should have felt the advantage of existing marketing, because digital marketing is very efficient for businesses. Then, with the development of digital marketing, it would make the business run better.
