Abstract

This socialization activity was carried out at the Abdi Praja RPTRA (Child-Friendly Open Public Space) with the aim of increasing environmental awareness and empowering housewives to improve the family economy. This program combines two important aspects Environmental Awareness, which includes training on waste management, energy conservation, and sustainable use of natural resources, and Economic Empowerment, which involves training in business skills, family financial management, and income-increasing strategies. By involving housewives as the main participants, this activity aims to optimize their role in managing the household and improving family welfare through a practical and community-based approach. The results of this socialization activity are expected to improve the understanding and skills of participants in both areas, so that they can implement beneficial changes at the family and community levels. Through the empowerment of housewives and strengthening environmental awareness, it is hoped that the Abdi Praja RPTRA will become a successful example in implementing the principles of sustainability and improving the family economy in local communities.

Abstract

Mathematical modeling is the process of solving a problem in the real world by simplifying it into mathematical form. Mathematical modeling skills are very useful for students in developing knowledge and deepening their concepts. In learning, this ability is needed in solving contextual problems. However, many students have difficulty in simplifying problems into mathematical models, especially in the material of the Two-Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV). Applying the Problem Based Learning model is one of the efforts to improve students' mathematical modeling skills. This research uses a quantitative approach and uses a Pre-Experimental Design type of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This study involved all VIII grade students in one of the schools in Aceh Besar. 31 students were selected as samples, and random sampling technique was used. . The instrument in this study was a test question on mathematical modeling ability. Furthermore, one-party t-test was used to analyze the data obtained. The results showed that the Problem Based Learning model improved students' mathematical modeling skills on SPLDV material. It is important for teachers to continue to hone students' modeling skills by getting students used to solving everyday problems using mathematical models so as to improve students' mathematical modeling skills. Improving students' modeling skills is one of the strategies to develop students' mathematical problem solving skills which are the foundation of meaningful learning.

Abstract

An approach that is often used to assess an educator is needed in order to match what is expected. It is expected that with a good understanding of the concept of assessment, teachers will be able to adjust and evaluate students' skills according to their actual needs. The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of integrating the Benchmark Assessment (PAP) and Normative Reference Approach (PAN) in teaching. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study at Warungboto State Elementary School, Umbulharjo District, Yogyakarta. The data collection method used in this research was observation, interview and documentation study. The data analysis method used in the research is descriptive analysis technique. The research results show that: 1). There is still a lack of understanding regarding the integration paradigm of the Benchmark Reference Assessment (PAP) and the Normative Reference Approach (PAN). The implementation of assessments using the Benchmark Reference Approach (PAP) and Normative Reference Approach (PAN) has not been carried out thoroughly, openly, honestly and comprehensively, so teachers still need a holistic approach that involves developing teacher professionalism, collaboration between fellow teachers, updating the use of technology, adjustments curriculum, development of effective assessment tools and implementation of continuous feedback and reflection. 2). There is still a need for further training for teachers, as well as addressing teacher problems such as workload and assessment pressure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh LKS yang tersedia kurang menarik dan belum mencerminkan pembelajaran diferensiasi yang mengacu pada pengajaran yang disesuaikan dengan gaya belajar peserta didik seperti audio, visual dan kinestetik, hal tersebut dikarenakan bahan ajar yang digunakan masih berbentuk cetak dan hanya menyajikan materi secara garis besar saja. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menghasilkan E-LKPD mata pelajaran IPAS di kelas IV SDN 07 Sitiung yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode research and development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Plomp yang terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu: penelitian pendahuluan (Preliminary research), tahap prototipe (Prototyping phase), dan tahap penilaian (Assessment phase). Hasil validasi E-LKPD mata pelajaran IPAS di kelas IV SDN 07 Sitiung divalidasi oleh lima validator, yaitu validasi ahli bahasa 80% dengan kategori valid, validasi ahli isi 84% dengan kategori valid, validasi ahli kegrafikan dan soal hasil belajar 84% dan 96% dengan kategori sangat valid, validasi oleh ahli soal dan modul ajar 80% dan 84% dengan kategori valid, validasi ahli materi 91% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil analisis angket respon guru dan keterlaksanaan modul ajar dinilai oleh guru wali kelas IV memperoleh hasil 96% dan 94% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba one to one evaluation diperoleh rata-rata 96% dengan kategori sangat praktis, dan uji coba small group evaluation memperoleh rata-rata 87,32% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil analisis data efektifitas diperoleh dari hasil belajar peserta didik yang dinilai melalui tes hasil belajar siswa yang berisi soal pilihan ganda dan isian singkat yang dilakukan didua SD yaitu SDN 07 dan 11 Sitiung memperoleh rata-rata nilai di sdn 07 sitiung 86% untuk pilihan ganda dan 84% isian singkat, sedangkan sdn 11 sitiung  86% pilihan ganda dan 82% isian singkat dengan kategori sangat efektif.

Abstract

Desa Tampak Siring berada di Kecamatan Batukliang, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, memiliki sumber daya alam melimpah, terutama pada bidang pertanian, perkebunan, dan peternakan. Sebagian besar penduduknya bermata pencaharian sebagai petani dan peternak. Dari hasil survei ditemukan informasi bahwa masyarakat setempat belum mampu mengolah kotoran ternak yang seharusnya bisa digunakan sebagai pupuk kompos untuk lahan pertanian. Masyarakat setempat masih menggunakan pupuk kimia yang dibeli di pasaran yang digunakan sebagai pupuk untuk bertani. Padahal, pupuk kompos memiliki beragam manfaat seperti mengurangi penggunaan pupuk kimia yang berdampak negatif terhadap lingkungan. Tujuan kegiatan KKN ini adalah meningkatkan kualitas tanah pertanian masyarakat Desa Tampak Siring melalui pemanfaatan kotoran ternak sebagai pupuk kompos. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 2 Juli sampai dengan tanggal 22 Agustus 2024 di Desa Tampak Siring, Kecamatan Batukliang, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Salah satu program KKN berupa pelatihan pengolahan kotoran ternak menjadi pupuk kompos ini diikuti oleh perangkat desa, kelompok tani, kelompok ternak, dan karang taruna. Tahapan kegiatan yakni: mengundang narasumber, sosialisasi (penyampaian materi dan demonstrasi pembuatan pupuk kompos), pendampingan pembuatan pupuk kompos. Fermentasi pupuk kompos membutuhkan waktu selama 2 minggu hingga akhirnya dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat untuk lahan pertanian.

Abstract

With the rise of increasingly sophisticated technology in this time of globalization, it is exceptionally simple for the more extensive local area to manage exchanges (drugs). For this reason, the government is constantly trying to stop the spread of drugs among Indonesian people by using any media, ranging from verbal invitations, banners, posters, videos and photos displayed in schools, government and public places. The maltreatment of opiates and perilous medications (drugs) in Indonesia as of late has turned into a difficult issue and has arrived at a condition of concern with the goal that it has turned into a public issue.In order to make it easier for BNN to conduct monitoring and counseling to areas where there are many drug addicts, it is necessary to cluster data on drug addicts in Medan city. To solve the problem, it can be solved by clustering drug addicts in Medan city using the K-Means Clustering Algorithm. The data used comes from the BNN of North Sumatra Province, the data used is data on drug addicts in Medan City in 2020-2023. The purpose of clustering drug addict data in Medan city is to find out areas that are very high, high, low and very low levels of drug addicts.This study found that there are 2 sub-districts with the highest level of drug addiction, 7 sub-districts with a high level of addiction, 7 sub-districts with a low level of drug addiction, and 5 sub-districts with a lowest level of addiction.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of a document concealment technique for DOCX files using a combination of AES (Fernet) encryption and a Python-based file fusing method. The main objective of this research is to enhance file-level data security by encrypting document content and embedding it within a host file (e.g., an image) without altering the functionality of the host file. The research methodology includes the analysis of the AES algorithm, encryption and decryption processes, the implementation of file fusing, and performance evaluation in terms of time efficiency and file size growth. The results show that this method effectively maintains document confidentiality while making the hidden data difficult to detect, with the combined file size increasing only by approximately 2–5% from the original host file. This system can be applied for securing confidential data in digital environments, particularly for online distribution of sensitive documents.

Abstract

The accumulation of non-biodegradable plastic waste and its detrimental effects on the environment underscore the imperative to develop sustainable packaging alternatives, such as edible films. In this study, the incorporation of chitosan was investigated to enhance the mechanical properties of an edible film based on carrageenan extracted from the seaweed Eucheuma spinosum. The carrageenan was extracted from E. spinosum cultivated in the coastal waters of Ketapang, Lampung, Indonesia and its yield and dry shrinkage were determined. Edible films were then fabricated by varying the concentrations of carrageenan and chitosan, with glycerol employed as a plasticiser. Characterisation included tensile strength testing, thickness measurement using a micrometer, and morphological analysis via scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results indicated that tensile strength increased with the addition of chitosan up to an optimal concentration; beyond this point, further addition resulted in a decline in tensile strength. The maximum tensile strength achieved was 15.31 MPa, and film thickness ranged from 0.06 to 0.20 mm, thereby meeting the requirements of the JIS Z 1707:2019 standard. Morphological analysis revealed a smooth surface but a non-homogeneous particle distribution, suggesting that the mixing process was not yet fully optimised. Overall, the combination of carrageenan and chitosan significantly improved the physical and mechanical properties of the edible film, indicating its potential as a safe, biodegradable, and environmentally friendly food-packaging material.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan sebagai respons atas tantangan struktural yang dihadapi pembudidaya ikan di Desa Marga Sungsang, Kabupaten Banyuasin, khususnya tingginya ketergantungan terhadap pakan komersial dan belum optimalnya pemanfaatan potensi sumber daya lokal. Dalam praktik budidaya, pakan komersial menempati porsi terbesar dalam struktur biaya produksi, yakni sekitar 60–80%, sehingga berdampak pada terbatasnya margin keuntungan serta meningkatnya risiko keberlanjutan usaha. Situasi tersebut kontras dengan kondisi lingkungan setempat yang memiliki ketersediaan bahan baku lokal, seperti keong mas, limbah kepala udang, dan ikan rucah, yang sejatinya berpotensi dikembangkan sebagai pakan mandiri bernilai ekonomis namun belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Kegiatan ini diarahkan untuk memperkuat kapasitas pembudidaya ikan melalui pendekatan peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman konseptual, sekaligus pengembangan keterampilan dalam memproduksi pakan buatan yang efisien, bermutu, dan berbasis sumber daya lokal. Proses pelaksanaan dilakukan secara bertahap melalui pengenalan program, penyampaian materi mengenai prinsip dasar formulasi pakan dan pemanfaatan limbah lokal, diskusi partisipatif, serta evaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan instrumen pre-test dan post-test. Sebanyak 31 orang pembudidaya ikan berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pada 19 Oktober 2025. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan, tercermin dari kenaikan skor rata-rata peserta dari 49,9 sebelum kegiatan menjadi 87,3 setelah pelatihan. Selain peningkatan aspek kognitif, peserta juga memperlihatkan sikap positif dan komitmen untuk mulai mengembangkan pakan mandiri sebagai strategi pengendalian biaya produksi. Luaran kegiatan meliputi laporan kemajuan, dokumentasi pelaksanaan, serta perencanaan tindak lanjut berupa pelatihan praktik lanjutan dan pengujian mutu pakan pada periode berikutnya, dengan harapan mendorong efisiensi dan keberlanjutan usaha budidaya ikan di wilayah pesisir.
