<![CDATA[This qualitative research using phenomenological approach examines transcendental communication of the blind who lose sight in their adulthood. The research shows that one who loses sight during his/her adulthood will undergo a dramatic change not only in their outward biological and psychological aspects but also in their transcendental communication with God. Regarding transcendental communication, this study reveals three different models of attitudes of the blind. The first attitude begins with the emergence of spiritual awareness that consciously admits the self and God existence. The blindness stimulates a better change in the blindâs style and form of transcendental communication even though each respondent discloses a different pattern of change, resulting type âAâ that represents a minimun change to type âFâ that represents maximum change. Based on all dynamic of transcendental communication made by the respondents, the research underscores four models of religious identity of the blind; formal religious, temporal religious, religious and very religious. All these models represent distinct transcendental communication both qualitatively and quantitatively.]]>

<![CDATA[The Perang Topat ritual, a significant cultural tradition in Lingsar Village, West Lombok, is rooted in the Sasak community's local wisdom and spiritual beliefs. This research explores the importance of transcendental communication within this ritual and its educational implications for preserving local wisdom values. The study aims to analyze how transcendental communication in the Perang Topat ritual conveys and reinforces educational values that contribute to character building and cultural preservation. A qualitative research method was employed, using ethnographic techniques to gather data through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using an interpretive approach to uncover the deeper meanings and educational aspects of the ritual. The results reveal that the transcendental communication within the Perang Topat ritual plays a crucial role in instilling values such as mutual respect, tolerance, and spiritual connection among participants. The conclusion highlights that the ritual not only serves as a medium for spiritual and cultural expression but also as an educational tool for the younger generation. The implications of this research emphasize the need for integrating local wisdom values into formal education to preserve and promote cultural heritage.]]>

<![CDATA[The involvement of NU organizational elites can be seen from the role, contribution and political communication strategies they played during the 2020 regional elections in convincing the electorate at the grassroots level. In the regional elections in Central Lombok district in 2020, the political phenomenon that was visible before the voting public was related to the involvement of the Central Lombok NU elite in winning the Lalu Pathul Bahri Candidate Pair - HM Nursiah or the Maiq Meres candidate pair. This research is participatory field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The research process was carried out intensively for two months involving informants consisting of main informants and supporting informants regarding the winning of regional head candidates Lalu Pathul Bahri-HM Nursiah. This study found that the Central Lombok district NU elite played an active role as a medium, or media for political communication, the pair of candidates for regent and candidate for deputy regent of Central Lombok Pathul Bhari and HM. Nursiah. The Central Lombok NU elite took part in visiting the electorate, both personally and institutionally. The communication strategy used by the NU elite to convey political messages is to maximize the role of the organizational network, the network of NU teachers, as well as NU's amaliyah activities, which are driven to support pairs of regional head candidates supported by NU.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis 1) pengaruh altruisme terhadap kompetensi sosial guru SD Negeri Se-Kecamatan Sungai Mandau, Siak, 2) pengaruh interaksi sosial terhadap kompetensi sosial guru SD Negeri Se-Kecamatan Sungai Mandau, Siak, 3) pengaruh altruisme dan interaksi sosial secara bersama-sama terhadap kompetensi sosial guru SD Negeri Se-Kecamatan Sungai Mandau, Siak. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah Guru SD Negeri Se-Kecamatan Sungai Mandau, Siak yang berjumlah 109 orang dan semua diteliti. Jenis data dari penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data skunder untuk yang diperoleh dari guru dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Pengolahan data untuk analisis statistik deskriptif dalam penelitian ini menggunakan program Microsoft Excel dan SPSS versi 23 for Windows. Hasil penelitian meliputi; 1) Diperoleh pengaruh yang signifikan antara altruisme (X1) terhadap kompetensi sosial guru (Y) Di SD Negeri Se-Kecamatan Sungai Mandau, Siak; 2) Diperoleh pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel interaksi sosial (X2) terhadap kompetensi sosial guru (Y) Di SD Negeri Se-Kecamatan Sungai Mandau, Siak.; 4) Diperoleh pengaruh signifikan antara altruisme (X1) dan interaksi sosial (X2) terhadap kompetensi sosial guru (Y) Di SD Negeri Se-Kecamatan Sungai Mandau, Siak. Hal ini bermakna bahwa, kompetensi sosial guru sangat dibutuhkan dalam melaksanakan tugas.]]>

<![CDATA[The COVID-19 pandemic not only leaves grief for its survivors but also triggers the netizens to create memes containing religious narratives, especially Islam. This research focuses on uncovering meme narratives about COVID-19 which contain the content of religious thought battles between moderate Islamic groups and fundamentalist Islamic groups. The results show that the COVID-19 global disaster has been used as an arena for fighting as well as promoting the thoughts of moderate Islamic groups versus fundamentalists by using memes as an instrument. The thinking of moderate Islamic groups is represented through COVID-19 memes that are rational and tolerant, while COVID-19 memes containing radical thinking content and blasphemy against certain religions and countries mark the thinking of fundamentalist Islamic groups.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract:The aim of this research is to identify the patterns of Islamic education conveyed through persuasive communication in the formation of social ethics as a resolution to moral degradation. Data collection for this article was conducted using a qualitative method with library research and a content analysis approach. The results of this study show that the appropriate and effective Islamic education model, delivered through persuasive communication, capable of addressing moral degradation is education that applies the methods of understanding, habituation, and exemplary behavior. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola pendidikan Islam yang disampaikan melalui komunikasi persuasif dalam pembentukan etika sosial sebagai resolusi degradasi moral. Pengumpulan data dalam penyusunan artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan penelitian kepustakaan dan pendekatan kajian isi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pendidikan Islam yang tepat dan efektif dan disampaikan menggunakan komunikasi persuatif akan mempu menghadapi degradasi moral adalah pendidikan dengan menerapkan metode pemahaman, pembiasaan, dan keteladanan.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of human resource development and morale on the productivity of temporary employees at Pamong Praja Police Unit and Fire Department of Kaur. The sample in this study was 125 employees. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The analytical method used was multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing t and hypothesis testing f. The results of the regression equation are Y = 7.828 + 0.386X1 + 0.445X2 + 4.596, meaning that human resource development and morale have a positive influence on the productivity of employees at Pamong Praja Police Unit and Fire Department of Kaur. The result of the determination test is 0.557 or (55.7%). This shows that human resource development and morale affect the productivity of employees at Pamong Praja Police Unit and Fire Department of Kaur by 55.7%, while the rest (100 - 55.7% = 44.3%) is explained or influenced by other variables not examined. Human resource development and morale together have an influence on the productivity of the temporary workers at Pamong Praja Police Unit and Fire Department of Kaur with a significant value of 0.000, less than 0.05. Human resource development has a positive and significant effect on the productivity of temporary employees at Pamong Praja Police Unit and Fire Department of Kaur, because the significant value of 0.003 is smaller than 0.05. Morale has a positive and significant effect on the productivity of on the productivity of temporary employees at Pamong Praja Police Unit and Fire Department of Kaur, with a significant value of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05]]>

<![CDATA[This study focuses on exploring the social engagement experiences of Sangkhom Islam Wittaya School and Lenterahati Islamic Boarding School as a manifestation of their social responsibility in the surrounding communities. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research employed three data collection techniques: in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis, followed by qualitative analysis. The findings indicate that both institutions share similarities in the content and procedures of their social programs. These include regular programs in religious education, economic empowerment, healthcare, and basic infrastructure improvement, as well as their proactive involvement in disaster relief as part of their incidental programs. The community has expressed positive appreciation for the social programs implemented by both Sangkhom Islam Wittaya School and Lenterahati Islamic Boarding School, with a strong desire for the continuation of such initiatives. This study underscores the ability of these pesantren to adapt and align with public expectations within mutually beneficial collaborations]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara komunikasi kebijakan pemerintah dan perubahan perilaku masyarakat pesisir di Lombok Barat. Dalam konteks pengelolaan sumber daya pesisir yang berkelanjutan, pemahaman yang mendalam tentang bagaimana kebijakan disampaikan dan diterima oleh masyarakat sangat penting. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen kebijakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas komunikasi kebijakan bergantung pada kejelasan pesan, keterlibatan masyarakat, dan kesesuaian kebijakan dengan norma serta kearifan lokal. Masyarakat yang terlibat dalam proses sosialisasi dan mendapatkan informasi yang jelas cenderung menunjukkan respon positif dan beradaptasi dengan kebijakan yang diterapkan. Sebaliknya, kurangnya pemahaman dan resistensi terhadap kebijakan dapat muncul ketika masyarakat merasa kebijakan tersebut tidak mempertimbangkan kepentingan mereka. <![CDATA[Abstrak: Pilkada Lombok Utara 2024 menyoroti peran mendalam agama dalam politik Indonesia, dengan kandidat memanfaatkan narasi agama untuk membentuk identitas dan memobilisasi dukungan. Studi ini mengeksplorasi dinamika ini melalui pendekatan metode campuran, menggabungkan wawancara kualitatif dan diskusi kelompok terfokus dengan survei kuantitatif. Dengan menganalisis afiliasi agama, ketaatan, dan perilaku pemungutan suara, penelitian ini mengungkapkan bagaimana tema agama memengaruhi strategi kampanye dan preferensi pemilih, menggarisbawahi signifikansinya dalam politik elektoral. Abstract: The 2024 North Lombok Regional Election highlights the profound role of religion in Indonesian politics, with candidates leveraging religious narratives to shape identities and mobilize support. This study explores these dynamics through a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative interviews and focus group discussions with quantitative surveys. By analyzing religious affiliation, observance, and voting behavior, the research reveals how religious themes influence campaign strategies and voter preferences, underscoring their significance in electoral politics.]]>
