Abstract

Rumah Singgah merupakan upaya pelayanan kesejahteraan sosial terhadap anak jalanan yang di landasi oleh Pasal 34 UUD NKRI Tahun 1945. Tujuan dari Rumah Singgah menolong anak jalan mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi serta menjumpai alternatif untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan hidupnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam peneltiian ini adalah yuridis empiris. Keberadaan rumah singgah pada umumnya sangat bermanfaat bagi anak jalanan, pengemis karena dapat menjadi tempat berlindung dan tempat untuk mengembangkan kreatifitas. Namun di Kota Langsa rumah singgah tidak berfungsi dengan optimal ini dikarenakan tidak adanya dana dalam pengelolaan rumah singgah tersebut. Sehingga fungsi rumah singgah tidak berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya Sehingga pemerintah perlu memberi perhatian khusus terhadap rumah tersebut sehingga fungsi bisa dijalankan sebagaimana mestinya.

Abstract

The roundness quality of small meatballs, called Bakso Unyil, produced by PT X has been considered non-uniform and in-competitive. Hence, roundness quality improvement has been becoming one of the priorities for increasing consumer acceptance. This research aims to identify the causes of the poor quality of Unyil Meatballs roundness and find a solution. The improvement methods were: identification of the causes of low quality of roundness (Plan), improvement trials based on alternative solution (Do), and implementation of corrective actions (Action). A total of 60 meatballs samples were taken from three batches (for each batch of 20 samples). Ishikawa Diagram, and histogram were conducted and analysed. Implementation of alternative solutions to improve roundness quality that have been carried out as follows: 1). adjusting the amount of dough in mixing step, 2). the installation of temperature measuring equipment in the preheater, 3). Usage standardization of ice, 4). improvement of phosphate and salt mixing techniques, 5). removal of baking powder, and 6). turn of blades in mixing cake. Result showed that those improvements were not only improve the roundness quality of Unyil meatballs but also improve the smoothness and reducing wrinkle conditions on the surface of Unyil meatballs

Abstract

Bullying masih menjadi salah satu perilaku yang kerap kali terjadi di sekolah, mulai dari sekolah dasar sampai sekolah menengah atas pun tidak lepas dari perilaku negatif ini. Guru bimbingan konseling mesti berperan aktif dalam penanganan maupun pencegahan bullying ini agar dimasa depan tidak terjadi hal yang serupa menimpa para peserta didik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menyampaikan kepada pembaca bahwa penting untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya bullying, terutama di lingkungan sekolah dasar, dan implikasinya bagi peran guru bimbingan konseling. Metode yang dipakai penelitian ini adalah kajian pustaka. Dalam penelitian kali ini ditemukan terdapat banyak faktor yang menyebabkan seorang anak sampai dapat melakukan tindakan bullying.  Salah satu faktor yang berperan penting dalam perilaku bullying adalah pola asuh dan lingkungan keluarga. Karena bagaimana pun juga anak akan banyak menghabiskan waktu di lingkungan tersebut sehingga apabila lingkungan tersebut tidak sehat akan rentan membuat anak melakukan perilaku bullying. dalam penanganan nya guru bimbingan konseling berperan penting untuk mencegah dan menangani siswa yang melakukan perilaku bullying. banyak penelitian yang meneliti mengenai strategi yang dapat dilakukan oleh guru bimbingan konseling untuk mencegah, intervensi maupun menangani perilaku bullying anak. dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran guru bimbingan konseling ini sangatlah penting dalam pencegahan maupun penanganan perilaku bullying ini. guru bimbingan dapat mempelajari melalui faktor faktor  penyebab bullying dan memilih strategi yang tepat untuk menangani permasalahan tersebut

Abstract

Maritime is a dynamic, ever-evolving world that demands innovative technology to improve shipping safety. The maritime world is facing significant changes rapidly, especially in the development and implementation of navigation technology. ECDIS or “Electronic Chart Display and Information System” is a tool whose function and system can provide information about navigation. The type of research carried out is descriptive qualitative research. This method is used to find knowledge about the research object. The type of research used is field research (field research), that is, researchers go directly into the field to search for and collect data. research location in KL. Sultan Hasanuddin. Determining the subjects of this research was purposive, and the data source chosen was the crew of the Kl ship. Sultan Hasanuddin PIP Makassar. The research results significantly increase shipping safety because digital maps have been prepared and reduced the workload of ship crews in making shipping routes. It is recommended that ships routinely update software and digital maps to ensure system accuracy and function, as well as provide training to ship crews every time there is a feature update on ECDIS

Abstract

Remote work has emerged as a significant trend that redefines traditional work arrangements. This study aims to investigate whether these concerns are justified by actual productivity differences or if they stem from a placebo effect, ultimately seeking evidence-based insights to inform workplace practices and evaluate the impact of remote work on employee productivity in the Greater Jakarta Area. The study employed a qualitative design with a case study approach to explore employee perceptions, attitudes, and experiences regarding remote work, focusing on how different types of tasks perform in remote versus in-office settings. The analysis aimed to highlight factors that influence productivity in a work-from-home (WFH) context, enhancing the understanding of employee performance variability. The findings reveal that task types significantly affect productivity in remote work settings. Based on the findings, several practical recommendations are proposed for companies, including JAR, to enhance their remote work environments: enhanced communication tools, clear work-life boundaries, robust organizational support systems, and opportunities for social interaction.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a recruitment strategy that balances the assessment of competencies and cultural fit at BETA, an ed-tech startup in Indonesia. The research focuses on recruitment challenges, including lengthy hiring processes and high probationary failure rates due to mismatches in competencies and cultural alignment. A qualitative approach was employed, involving in-depth interviews with six key informants from BETA’s Talent Acquisition team and division leaders. Data analysis was conducted using the Interactive Model Analysis, which includes data collection, condensation, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that key competencies required include a strong work ethic, a lifelong learning mindset, and innovation, while cultural values prioritized collaboration, commitment to learning, and optimism. The proposed recruitment strategy involves detailed job specifications, competency-based interview guidelines, cultural fit assessments, structured probationary workflows, and clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for objective evaluation. Implementing these strategies is expected to enhance recruitment efficiency, reduce probationary failures, and build a team that is both competent and culturally aligned.

Abstract

Employee turnover is a critical issue in the manufacturing sector, leading to increased operational costs, workflow disruptions, and reduced productivity. This study investigates the relationship between Quality of Work Life (QoWL) and employee turnover in XYZ Company, a furniture manufacturing company, with a particular focus on the production division. The company faces a high turnover rate of 17.70%, with the production division contributing 92.11% of total employee exits. This research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing QoWL and turnover intention questionnaires to assess key factors such as working structure, compensation, work environment, and interpersonal relationships. Data were collected from production employees and analyzed using correlation tests and multiple linear regression to determine the impact of QoWL dimensions on turnover intention. The findings reveal that dissatisfaction with compensation and inadequate working conditions are the primary drivers of turnover. A strong correlation was identified between QoWL dimensions and turnover intention, highlighting the urgency for targeted interventions. The study proposes practical solutions, including aligning compensation with industry standards, implementing structured career development programs, and enhancing workplace conditions to improve employee retention. By addressing QoWL dimensions, organizations can foster a supportive work environment, enhance job satisfaction, and reduce turnover rates, ultimately ensuring long-term operational stability and success.

Abstract

The Desa Mandiri program, initiated by the Sumedang Regency Government, aims to enhance rural welfare and economic independence. A significant example is Cipari Village, where the Bhakti Insan Motekar (BIM) Foundation fosters agricultural entrepreneurship through community-based learning. However, sustainable agricultural development requires more than food security—it necessitates social inclusion and environmental resilience. This research proposes a Community-Based Business Technology model to support village independence, focusing on three key parameters: Technology Integration Requirements (TIR), Technological Training Methods (TTM), and Monitoring & Evaluation Mechanisms (MEM). A qualitative approach using participant observation and the Most Significant Change (MSC) method was employed to assess stakeholder perspectives, including government and foundation representatives. Findings highlight the need for technological adaptation among small-scale farmers, interactive training methodologies, and structured monitoring mechanisms. The study suggests a mobile-based technology solution as an initial step toward digital integration. Further, collaborations between government, foundations, and educational institutions can enhance capacity-building initiatives. The Koperasi model emerges as a viable framework for structuring farmer participation and monitoring progress. These findings contribute to developing scalable strategies for rural economic independence, balancing technological advancement, education, and policy support for sustainable agricultural ecosystems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using ALEKS in providing personalized guidance according to the needs and abilities of high school students from teachers' perspectives. The research employs a quantitative descriptive method, with data collected through questionnaires with teachers’ who have used ALEKS in their teaching. That said, it’s not without its issues limited access to technology and the time it takes for teachers to get used to the system can be real hurdles. Still, ALEKS shows promise as a tool for personalizing learning, though schools may need to provide more support to make the most of it.
