Abstract

ABSTRACT   Flood is known as a disaster that usually comes suddenly, and therefore, people are not prepared. As a result, it causes a dead loss, both human and material. In order to anticipate flood, some dikes have been built. Bengawan Solo dike has changed through time. Damages along the dike have been identified and followed-up by conducting some improvements to make it function well. However, since the repairs are carried out based on the occurrence of landslide or burst, there are many portions of the dike that are damaged but receive no rehabilitation. In fact, in some portions of the dike crossing densely populated settlements, there are many buildings cutting through the outside part of the dike base. Furthermore, portions of the dike in that area have been transformed to street with uncontrolled load. For example, it is found that some vehicles loading construction materials passing on the dike. But, in fact, this sort of loading has not been predicted in the planning. Hence, it is important to foreknow the benchmark of dike performance to assess the performance of dike before landslide or burst occurring. This research was conducted to the Jurug-Mojo portion of Bengawan Solo dike. It is 1.317 m long and is divided into 13 portions, each of which is 100 m long. The parameters applied in this research were cross-section, dike elevation and data about land, while the variables were debit, gravity acceleration, water surface elevation, soil pore index, shearing force, specific weight, and friction angle. There were 3 (three) methods proposed to assess the benchmark of the dike performance, including reliability assessment, dike surface assessment (PCI Mmethod) and dike stability assessment (Bishop Mmethod). The findings of the research are as follows. The maximum debit that can be embanked by the dike is 1,489 m3/s; the reliability index is 0.675; the PCI index is 59.4 (good); the dike stability index before overtopping is 2.771 (stable); the dike stability index when overtopping is 1.075 (unstable), the water stability index when lowering 1 m is 1.775 (stable). Abstract

Sub watershed Sungai Mess is one sub watershed which empties into the Sungai Singingi. Changes in global climate affect rainfall patterns change, in the scale of space, time, and scale. The purpose of this study is to determine the validity of rainfall existing data, to investigate the characteristics of rainfall, to determine the distribution pattern of hourly rainfall in the Kuantan sub watershed. The validity of rainfall data was conducted by RAPS (Rescaled Adjusted Partial sums). The rainfall characteristics were determined by grouping data based on the duration and occurrence of rainfall. Analysis of distribution pattern of hourly rainfall was based on observed data and finded the similiarity with Mononobe Modified method, Alternating Block Method (ABM), and Triangular Hyetograph Method (THM). The analysis resulted in the validity of eight rain stations from the existing nine stations. Rainfall in the Keduang sub watershed was dominated by two-hour rainfall events. Pattern of rainfall distribution hourly showed that rainfall distribution in 2, 3, 5, 7, and 8 hours follows Modified Mononobe model, while the pattern of rainfall distribution in 4 and 6 hours follows Triangular Hyetograph Method (THM) model.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang dilaksanakan merupakan perwujudan dari Catur Dharma Perguruan Tinggi oleh Prodi Teknik Sipil. PKM dilaksanakan di desa Petapahan, Kec.Gunung Toar selama 1 hari dengan sumber dana berasal dari UNKS dengan judul “Perencanaan Tanggul Sungai Petapahan di Desa Petapahan Kecamatan Gunung Toar”, Kegiatan PKM bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang kejadian – kejadian banjir yang terjadi khususnya di desa Petapahan akibat meluapnya Sungai Petapahan. Kegiatan PKM ini juga memberikan gambaran besaran debit atau banjir rancangan yang terjadi pada sungai Petapahan tersebut. Selain itu, kegiatan PKM ini juga dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif perancangan bangunan banjir yang terjadi. Kegiatan PKM berlangsung dengan lancar, didukung oleh perangkat desa dan masyarakat desa Petapahan, sehingga luaran yang ditargetkan berupa peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang permasalahan kejadian banjir dan alternatif bangunan penahan banjir bisa disampaikan tepat sasaran

Abstract

Daerah irigasi adalah kesatuan lahan yang mendapat air dari satu jaringan irigasi.Budidaya tanaman padi di Desa Banjar Benai masih terkendala oleh masalah kualitas sarana irigasi yang kurang menunjang, belum adanya data jaringan irigasi yang terbaru dan belum adanya aturan tentang operasi untuk distribusi daerah irigasi.Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) didesa Banjar Benai dilakukan dengan pertemuan langsung antara aparatur pemerintah, masyarakat desa dan tim PKM teknik sipil. Proses identifikasi meliputi pengamatan, survey dan wawancara terhadap potensi pertanian disekitar irigasi yang akan dilakukan perencanakan dan pengembangan di Desa Banjar Benai.Data yang diperoleh dari hasil pengabdian, hasilnya jauh lebih besar dibandingkan dengan data yang diperoleh dari Dinas PUPR Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Hal ini bisa dipahami, karena data yang dimiliki oleh Dinas PUPR merupakan data yang lama dan banyak pembangunan yang dilaksanakan di daerah Irigasi Banjar Benai belum di masukkan kedalam data yang ada tersebut. Maka, untuk pembangan daerah Irigasi Banjar Benai diperlukan data terkini, yaitu data yang sesuai dengan pengabdian.

Abstract

Pelelangan Pengadaan Barang dan Jasa Konstruksi dilaksanakan dipemerintahan maupun swasta. Pihak penyelenggara dan peserta lelang diatur oleh aturan yang baku. Etika sangat diperlukan dalam pelaksanaan pelelangan ini. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya terkadang masih ada kecurangan-kecurangan yang tidak terdeteksi oleh etika. Sehingga, hal yang tidak terdeteksi oleh etika diperlukan nilai-nilai islam bahwa ada aturan Allah SWT yang memperkuat etika pelelangan. LKPP LPSE adalah Lembaga Pemerintah Non-Kementerian (LPNK) yang berada di bawah naungan Presiden Republik Indonesia yang bertugas untuk melaksanakan pengadaan barang jasa Pemerintah. Sedangkan Layanan Pengadaan Secara Elektronik (LPSE) adalah sistem elektronik pengadaan barang jasa Pemerintah yang dikembangkan oleh LKPP. Materi Pelelangan Pengadaan Barang dan Jasa Konstruksi dalam Perspektif Islam yang disampaikan oleh Tim dosen Prodi Teknik Sipil diantaranya bahwa mata kuliah yang relevan terhadap pelelangan proyek yakni enggambar Struktur Bangunan di semester 1, Rencana anggaran Biaya serta Aspek Hukum dan Pembangunan serta manajemen proyek di semester 5, Etika Leadher Ship dan Kewirausahaan Konstruksi di semester 6. Proses pelelangan merujuk pada Perpres No. 12 Tahun 2021 tentang Perubahan Atas Peraturan Presiden Nomor 16 Tahun 2018 Tentang Pengadaan Barang/Jasa Pemerintah. Syariah Islam membolehkan jual beli barang/ jasa yang halal dengan cara lelang yang dalam fiqih disebut sebagai akad Bai’ Muzayadah. Titik berat Pelelangan Pengadaan Barang dan Jasa Konstruksi dalam Perspektif Islam adalah keadilan. Penyelenggara dan peserta lelang agar menjadikan etika berkeadilan bersumber dari Allah SWT sebagai basis keimanan dalam proses pelelangan untuk keselamatan dunia dan akhirat.

Abstract

Jumlah penduduk desa logas yang tinggi mengakibatkan pertumbuhan penduduk maka kebutuhan akan ruang untuk fasilitas penunjang penduduk juga akan semakin meningkat, dan secara otomatis akan menggeser ruang-ruang yang saat ini masih mempunyai fungsi sebagai kawasan hijau Sungai Mess desa Logas adalah Sungai yang terletak di Kecamatan Singingi Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi, dimana hampir setiap tahunnya di musim penghujan menimbulkan banjir yang mengakibatkan banyak kerugian sehingga mengganggu kegiatan masyarakat di berbagai sektor, seperti tergenangnya pemukiman penduduk yang berada di sekitar alur sungai, dan tergenangnya akses jalan transportasi di wilayah tersebut. Pelaksanaan PKM ini melalui beberapa tahapan yang telah dilaksanakan, antara lain dapat digambarkan dalam alur berikut ;Kegiatan Observasi; Proses Administrasi; Penyediaan alat dan bahan; Pembuatan Peta. Selain itu untuk keberlanjutan program ini maka dibentuknya sebuah kerjasama dalam bentuk MoU/MoA yang ditandatangai oleh kedua belah pihak antara isntansi terkait dan Program Studi Teknik Sipil Universitas Islam Kuantan Singingi dalam meningkatkan suberdaya manusia dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat, penelitian, maupun peningkatan pengetahuan mahasiswa.

Abstract

Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) are considered an innovative approach to urban water management, but their application in Indonesia is still very limited. Aim: This study was aimed to analyze the impact of land use change on runoff coefficient and its implication for socio-economic resilience in post-flood conditions in Kuantan Tengah District, Riau Province. Methodology and results: The research applied a spatial-hydrological and socio-economic approach, integrating drone imagery, GIS-based land classification, runoff coefficient analysis, field drainage assessment, and community surveys. Results revealed that the average runoff coefficient (Cr) increased to 0.57 due to land conversion into impervious surfaces, especially residential and road areas. This condition led to inadequate drainage capacity and contributed to urban flooding. Socio-economic impacts identified include infrastructure damage, income loss in local businesses, health problems, and psychological stress. SWOT analysis highlighted institutional strengths and public awareness, but also emphasized weak ecosystem-based management. Conclusion, significance and impact study: A Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS) model was proposed to overcome these challenges, combining green infrastructure, zoning policy, SOP (standard operating procedures) for drainage maintenance, and community participation. This study provides a novel integrative framework for urban flood risk mitigation based on hydrological and socio-economic indicators and offers policy insights for sustainable spatial planning in flood-prone regions.  The solutions offered directly support several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 11 on Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 6 on Clean Water and Sanitation, and SDG 13 on Climate Action.
