Abstract

Abstract - Kampung Wisata Sentul is one of the UID projects to support community development and spread environmental education to visitors through educational platform formed as agritourism. Since its opening to public in 2014, KWS has faced four business issues that consist of infrastructure and facilities resulting in visitors’ cancellation, the burden of its operational cost, lack of marketing resulting to lack of brand awareness, and no evaluation system to measure the impact of KWS to local community and visitors. This research is focused to get into the proper solutions for KWS to reach its sustainability. The business strategy formulations for KWS are proposed empowerment programs for local community, deepened experimental and experiential learning for the visitors, recommended marketing activities, and evaluation system with BSC along with strategic initiatives and KPIs. These solutions are also supported the triple bottom line approach and implementation plan with the purpose that KWS can reach its sustainability. Keywords: Community Development, Agritourism, Social Profit, The Triple Bottom Line, Strategy Formulation

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of compensation, motivation and job satisfaction on the level of employee turnover at XYZ Hotel located in Cimahi. The problem of high employee turnover can have a negative impact on the smooth running of hotel operations, as well as increasing employee recruitment and training costs. Therefore, this research tries to identify the factors that contribute to employees' decisions to stay or leave the company. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires to employees at XYZ Hotel. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression to determine the relationship between compensation, motivation and job satisfaction variables and employee turnover levels. The research results show that these three variables have a significant influence on employee turnover, with compensation as the most dominant factor in determining an employee's decision to stay. Motivation and job satisfaction have also been shown to play an important role, although their influence is slightly smaller than compensation. Therefore, it is recommended that XYZ Hotel management improve compensation policies and increase employee motivation and job satisfaction to reduce employee turnover rates and increase more stable employee retention.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the shift to digital banking, exposing critical gaps in the infrastructure of Bank IRIS, a pseudonym for a prominent international bank operating in Jakarta. During the migration process, Bank IRIS customers' complaints were also piling up; these usually include but are not limited to issues on poor connectivity, repeated errors, and poor responses from the customer service representatives. Design thinking was applied in researching these problems through a structured process divided into five phases, namely: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. In the Empathy phase, consumer interviews and feedback analysis showed that there were significant problems: frequent connectivity errors and poor service recovery. The core problems highlighted in the Define phase were issues of inadequate connectivity, frequent errors, and poor responses from customer service. Proposed solutions during Ideate included the use of CDN, AI-powered chatbots for real-time support, adoption of network indicator to decrease transaction risks, thorough staff training programs, and iterative feedback loop. During the Prototype phase, this research deployed a narrative prototype, presenting scenarios to research subjects that identified problems and provided solutions. Customers were actively contributing to the improvement of these proposals by providing their views in order to co-create feasible remedies. Finally, in the Testing phase, proposed solutions effectively addressed consumer pain points, enhanced customer satisfaction, and received positive feedback from stakeholders. This study gives actionable strategies to improve digital banking services and provides insights that can benefit other banks facing similar challenges in digital transformation.

Abstract

Policy agility is critical for infrastructure financing institutions like PT SMI, which faces delays in policy development due to centralized decision-making, poor communication, and inadequate knowledge transfer, hindering alignment with product timelines and RJPP 2024–2028 goals. This study investigates how integrating Agile and KM frameworks (SECI model, APO KM Framework) can mitigate these delays. Using mixed methods—qualitative interviews and quantitative APO KM Maturity assessments—the research identifies key gaps in PT SMI’s processes and proposes a combined Agile-KM approach. Findings reveal that Agile’s iterative cycles and KM’s knowledge-sharing mechanisms enhance policy-product alignment, with pilot projects demonstrating reduced bottlenecks. The study provides a scalable implementation plan, emphasizing cross-functional collaboration and centralized knowledge repositories. Implications suggest this framework improves PT SMI’s operational efficiency and offers a replicable model for similar institutions, bridging a gap in the literature on Agile-KM synergy in financial policy development.

Abstract

This research examines the integration of Organizational Health Index (OHI) and Human Capital Maturity (HCM) frameworks in maritime logistics operations. Through analysis of 255 respondents at PT IndoPel, the study identifies critical relationships between organizational health and human capital development. Statistical analysis reveals highest correlations in knowledge management integration (r = 0.84, p < .01) and leadership effectiveness (r = 0.82, p < .01), while identifying significant gaps in workforce optimization (-0.64). These relationships form the foundation for an integrated framework that links organizational health indicators with human capital development outcomes. The framework demonstrates how knowledge management and leadership effectiveness drive capability development in maritime operations, while workforce optimization represents a critical intervention area. This integration provides a structured approach for developing human capital strategies that address both organizational health and capability maturity dimensions, particularly relevant for maritime logistics organizations undergoing transformation.

Abstract

This research is based on the problem that although One Dentsu has been strategically adopted, in Indonesia this initiative has not been fully internalized in the daily working process. One of the main challenges is the absence of a systematic Knowledge Co-Creation (KCC) mechanism and a formal organizational governance structure that supports cross-functional collaboration. This research uses a qualitative approach with a single case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with five respondents who are key stakeholders of strategic service units in Dentsu Indonesia, specifically those with a strategic role in One Dentsu. This research uses Knowledge Co-Creation (KCC) theory as the main framework, which includes four main phases: knowledge donating, knowledge collecting, knowledge replication, and network citizenship. Aside from that, Knowledge Governance theory is also used to evaluate how far the organizational structure supports or hinders the KCC process, as well as to identify governance strategies currently in place. The results of the research show that the KCC process in Dentsu Indonesia takes place informally and in an unstandardized manner. Every individual has a different understanding of the meaning of One Dentsu, and there is no formal training or guidance that explains how to implement it comprehensively and in detail. In practice, the implementation of cross-functional collaboration occurs spontaneously and often depends on personal initiatives rather than organizational systems.

Abstract

Most secondary school students in developing countries have difficulty accessing higher Education after completing secondary Education, especially in Indonesia. The limited number of new job opportunities and the absence of a link and match between the competencies possessed by the workforce and employment have triggered the high Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) of VHS graduates, especially in West Java. This research uses mixed methods where data collection is carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. In collecting quantitative data, respondents to this study used data from 341 vocational students at six vocational schools in 5 districts/cities in West Java. Then strengthened by qualitative methods by conducting interviews. First, the thing that most influences the low quality of competitiveness of VHS students is that 21.07% of VHS students in West Java have a low VHS objective score. Second, the Quality of Education, Entrepreneurial Mindset, and Entrepreneurial Intentions simultaneously influence the goals of VHS in West Java Vocational School students, with an F count of 135,773 with a significance level of 0.000. Third, 54.7% of the goals of VHS students in West Java are influenced by the Quality of Education, Entrepreneurial Mindset, and Entrepreneurial Intentions. At the same time, 45.3% is influenced by other variables not analyzed in this study. to increase the competitiveness of VHS students, it is necessary to carry out various intervention efforts starting from the stages of input, process, output, and long-term results in the learning process in schools.

Abstract

High employee turnover rates represent a critical challenge in human resource management, particularly in joint venture companies operating in the power generation sector, where maintaining workforce stability is essential for operational excellence and technology transfer. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the influence of these two variables on turnover intention by considering important dimensions such as conditions for engagement, opinion engagement, engagement behavior, career development, work environment, employee relationships with management, and compensation and benefits. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) for quantitative analysis with in-depth qualitative interviews to provide comprehensive insights. The quantitative findings reveal that job satisfaction (β = -0.578, p < 0.001) exerts a stronger negative influence on turnover intention compared to employee engagement (β = -0.382, p < 0.001), collectively explaining 70.2% of the variance in turnover intention (R² = 0.702). Specifically, career development, work environment, and employee relationships with management emerged as significant predictors of turnover intention, while opinion engagement showed no significant direct effect. Qualitative insights revealed underlying issues, including unclear certification pathways, cultural and communication barriers between local and expatriate staff, insufficient management support during high-pressure situations, and perceived inequities in compensation structures. This research provides theoretical contributions by extending the understanding of job satisfaction and engagement dimensions in cross-cultural joint venture contexts, while offering practical implications through targeted business solutions, including transparent career path development, compensation benchmarking, enhanced management communication strategies, and systematic training programs.
