Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi perubahan wujud benda melalui metode eksperimen pada siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Banggai Kecamatan Banggai Kabupaten Banggai Laut. Rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu (1) perencanaan (2) Pelaksanaan (3) observasi (4) refleksi. Pengumpulan data melalui teknik pemberian tes, wawancara, observasi dan pencatatan lapangan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan data awal siswa yang kategori tuntas 3 orang atau presentase ketuntasan klasikal 20% . Pada siklus 1 jumlah siswa yang tuntas 8 orang presentase ketuntasan klasikal 53,3%, Sedangkan Siklus II jumlah siswa yang tuntas 14 orang, presentase ketuntasan klasikal 93,3%. Hasil aktivitas guru siklus I 55,78 % dengan kategori Sangat Kurang, hasil aktivitas siswa siklus I 68,75 % kategori kurang. Hasil aktivitas guru siklus II 75,78% dengan kategori cukup, hasil aktivitas siswa siklus II 86,25% kategori baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi perubahan wujud benda di kelas IV SDN 2 Banggai Kecamatan Banggai Kabupaten Banggai Laut Kata Kunci: Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar, Metode Eksperimen

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kurang aktif karena kurangnya pengalaman langsung siswa, sehingga hasil beajarnya rendah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan pemanfaatan lingkungan sekitar pada Materi Bagian-Bagian tumbuhan di SDN Lipulalonggo Kecamatan Labobo Kabupaten Banggai Laut. Metode  pembelajaran melibatkan siswa kelas III yang berjumlah 25 orang. Rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu (1) perencanaan (2) Pelaksanaan (3) observasi (4) refleksi. Pengumpulan data melalui teknik pemberian tes, wawancara, observasi dan pencatatan lapangan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian pratindakan didapatkan hanya terdapat 4 orang siswa (16%) dengan kriteria tuntas dan sebanyak 21 (84%) orang siswa dengan kriteria tidak tuntas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan  Pada siklus 1 banyak siswa yang tuntas 11 orang presentase ketuntasan klasikal 44%. Sedangkan Siklus II banyaknya siswa yang tuntas 20 orang, presentase ketuntasan klasikal 80%. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa pemanfaatan lingkungan sekitar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Bagian-Bagian Tumbuhan. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar Siswa, Bagian-Bagian Tumbuhan

Abstract

Keaktifan siswa di kelas V SDN Inpres Komba-Komba  dalam belajar Alat Percernaan Manusia masih kurang optimal sehingga hasil belajar mereka rendah.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan hasil belajar IPA materi Alat Pencernaan  Manusia melalui strategi pembelajaran Make a Match. Jenis penelitian ini adalah  penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini di laksanakan di SDN Inpres Komba-Komba di kelas V. Dengan jumlah siswa sejumlah 15 orang, yang terdiri dari 7 orang siswa laki-laki dan 8 orang siswa perempuan. PTK ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus kegiatan pembelajaran yang masing-masing terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi terhadap hasil tindakan. Hasil tindakan pada siklus I terdapat 5 orang siswa dari 15 jumlah siswa yang tidak tuntas belajar dan ketuntasan klasikal baru mencapai 66,66%. Berdasarkan indikator kinerja, penelitian tindakan pada siklus I belum mencapai ketuntasan belajar yang telah ditentukan sehingga perlu ditindak lanjuti ke siklus II. Pada siklus II terdapat peningkatan nilai ketuntasan klasikal siswa. Akhir siklus II presentase ketuntasan klasikal siswa telah mencapai 100%. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Stratergi Pembelajaran Make a Match dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Inpres Komba-Komba Kecamatan Bulagi. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Pembelajaran Make a Match, Alat Pencernaan    Manusia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine groundwater quality based on parameters of pH, COD, and BOD levels. These parameters are in accordance with Government Regulation No. 82 the year 2001 that concern the management of water quality and control of water pollution. pH meter was used for pH measurement. For COD concentration, the titrimetric titration was used while the iodometric titration for BOD concentrations. The results showed that the pH value of water was 7.9, the COD level was 7.84 mg/L and the BOD level was 1.68 mg/L. According to Government Regulations No. 82 the year 2001, it states that the level of COD based on its class is 10 mg/L (class I), and BOD based on its class is 2 mg/L. Therefore, the result of the COD and BOD concentrations are below of class 1 standards, it means the groundwater quality for two parameters in the Petobo area is still suitable for daily use.

Abstract

Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah apakah melalui kegiatan menganyam  kemampuan motorik halus anak kelompok B TK PGRI Purnama Bambalamotu dapat ditingkatkan. tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak melalui kegiatan menganyam pada anak kelompok B TK PGRI Purnama Bambalamotu. Subyek penelitian adalah anak kelompok B dengan jumlah anak 18 anak, yang terdiri dari 7 anak laki-laki dan 11 anak perempuan yang terdaftar pada tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, yaitu siklus I dan siklus II, dengan tahapan masing-masing yaitu, perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Tekhnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif dengan guru kelas kelompok B yang bertindak sebagai observer/ pengamat. Berdasarkan Pratindakan rata-rata 11% pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan mencapai rata-rata 33% sedangkan pada siklus II mencapai rata-rata 83% pada kategori  berkembang sangat baik dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui kegiatan menganyam dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak kelompok B TK PGRI Purnama Bambalamotu.Kata kunci : motorik halus, menganyam, anak kelompok B

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the differences of students’ learning outcomes between the class implementing the two strenght method and the class with the lecture method on the topic of chemical equilibrium in 11th grade science at SMA Negeri 1 Sindue on academic year 2016-2017. This type of study was a quasi experiment with a non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The sample of this study consisted of two classes namely students of class XI science 3 as the exsperimental class (n = 30) and students of class Xl science 2 as the control class (n = 30). Data of students’ learning outcomes were analyzed using t-test statistic of two-party. The analysis obtained the everage scores of the experimental and the control class were 50.50 with a standard deviation of 9.79 and 41.03 with a standard deviation of 11.01. Result of the hypothesis test with t-test statistic of two-party obtained –ttable ≤ tcount ≥ + ttable (tcount = 2.35 and ttable = 2.00) with a significance level of 0.05 and degree of freedom of 58 then H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This study concludes that there is difference in students’ learning outcomes between class with the implementation of the two strength methods and class with the lecture method on the topic of chemical equilibrium in 11th grade science at SMA Negeri 1 Sindue on academic year 2016-2017.

Abstract

Seagrass is one of the macrophyta plants containing enough biomass. Recently, seagrass has been used for filtering waste, drugs and sources of chemicals. Seagrass also functions to stabilize the soft bases where most species grow, especially with solid root systems and cross each other.  Therefore, seagrass has the potential to absorb heavy metal ions from the solution. This research aimed to determine the optimum weight and optimum contact time for Pb metal adsorption. Weight variation of seagrass biomass was 60, 90, and 120 mg while variation in contact time was 60, 90, and 120 minutes. The results obtained optimum weight of seagrass biomass to absorb Pb metal was 60 mg with 98.42% Pb absorbed, and optimum contact time for seagrass biomass to absorb Pb metal was 60 minutes with 95.45% Pb absorbed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of students’ learning outcomes on reaction rate by applying the cooperative learning model type TSTS (two stay-two stray) in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Banawa Tengah. The type of research was quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental research) with a nonrandomized pretest-posttest control group design. This study was conducted on two classes, namely class XI IPA 1 as an experimental (n= 32) and class XI IPA 2 as the control class (n= 32). Analysis data used the two-party t-test statistical with the prerequisite test, namely normality and homogeneity test. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class X̅1was 76.93 with a standard deviation = 8.62 while in the control class X̅2 was 72.06 with a standard deviation= 8.53. The results of hypothesis testing obtained – ttable≤ tcount + ttable which was -1.67 <3.25> +1.67 with a significant level (α= 0.05) and degrees of freedom = 62. This showed that H0 was rejected and H1was accepted it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of the two stay-two stray (TSTS) type cooperative learning model on the reaction rate to the students’ learning outcomes of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Banawa Tengah.

Abstract

Water hardness will have a destructive impact if consumed in a long time. Hard water contains high calcium contents, including inorganic calcium. The accumulation of calcium in the body at a specific time causing kidney stones, and some will settle in the blood that causing calcification which can be fatal to health. An alternative is needed to reduce the level of water hardness. This study aimed to determine the effect of using citric acid on citrus hystrix peels on water hardness. Citric acid was obtained through the maceration extraction method from citrus hystrix. The citric acid extract was made into several concentrations of 50, 100, and 150 ppm then added to hard water. Determination of decreased total water hardness after adding citric acid used method complexometry titration. The results of the analysis show that citric acid is able to reduce water hardness of the sample water from Palu city area.

Abstract

Rice husk is one of the by-products of the rice milling process that can be used as activated charcoal to adsorb metal ions. This study aimed to determine the optimum pH and adsorption capacity of Cd(II) ions by activated charcoal made of rice husk using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) method. Determination of the optimum pH adsorption of activated charcoal was carried out by varying the pH of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Based on the analysis results of the optimum pH for metal adsorption, pH 7 with percent absorbed metal 99.94%, while adsorption of Cd(II) ions using activated charcoal was carried out with several variations of concentration to study adsorption isotherm. The adsorption isotherm model of activated charcoal adsorption followed the Langmuir isotherm model. The results of this analysis obtained that the maximum adsorption capacity (qmax) of Cd(II) ions were 2.068 mg Cd/g.
