Abstract

Kata kunci : pencemaran udara dalam ruangan, parkir bawah tanah, travel time, resiko kesehatan.

Abstract

Abstract

Reliability of a road is mandatory since damaged will impede the traffic. Destruction is caused by various factors; one of the most important factors is excess load. Overload may give the load of each axle of a vehicle exceeds the determined standard. This condition occurs in trucks exceeding the load limit. In designing the structure of a road based on the method of Directorate General of Highways Ministry of Public Works of the Republic of Indonesia, axle load calculated in equivalent-number, or known as equivalent axle load (EAL), of 8.16 tons of standard axle. Total equivalent-number over the service life is defined as cumulative equivalent standard axle load (CESA). Due to traffic volume exceeding the volume forecast or, in other words there is an excessive load of traffic, it will make CESA achieved faster than planned. This excessive load in Indonesia, however, has been considered as a factor of environmental condition, so there is a need to introduce a correction factor for EAL as high as 20-25% in the process of designing flexible and rigid pavement so as to reduce early damage.

Abstract

Abstract

Transportation safety in Indonesia reflects its culture and modernity, but the high rate of traffic accidents indicates significant challenges. Data from IRSMS and Polda Metro Jaya reveal an increase in accidents and traffic violations, reinforcing the need for effective law enforcement. The implementation of ETLE, supported by Law No. 22 of 2009 on Road Traffic and Transportation and Law No. 19 of 2016 on Electronic Information and Transactions, is a strategic effort to improve law enforcement. However, its effectiveness in Jakarta context still requires in-depth evaluation. This thesis focuses on the psychological factors in the use of ETLE using the Theory of Planned Behavior. The analysis results show that factors such as self-confidence, anxiety, and influence of other drivers significantly contribute to the tendency of violations. With a beta coefficient of 0.029 and a t-statistic of 15.776, a holistic approach to road safety is required, involving infrastructure, law enforcement, driving education, and psychological aspects, to achieve the WHO target of reducing accidents by 50% in the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2031.

Abstract

In DKI Jakarta, despite the extensive infrastructure development, there has been a significant decline in the usage of public transportation. This can be attributed to the inadequate quality of the services provided. Various studies have highlighted the significance of evaluating the quality of service in public transportation to ensure passenger satisfaction and attract new users. However, there is no agreement on the most effective methodology and suitable indicators for conducting such analyses. In addition, there is a growing recognition of the importance of promoting gender equality in multimodal public transportation (MMPT) and understanding gender differences and perceptions of MMPT services. A case study was carried out in DKI Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, to analyse the influential indicators of the quality of MMPT. The analysis used the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) combined with the Tarrant and Smith procedure. These indicators greatly impact the perception of MMPT services for both genders. Safety against crimes, facilities for disabled people, pregnant women, and senior citizens, announcements in the required language, clarity in travel-related information, and availability of seats inside vehicles are the most influential indicators of the quality of the services. However, there are significant differences in how women and men perceive the importance and performance of indicators related to seating availability, coordination between transport operators, and passenger information.

Abstract

One of the leading causes of death on earth is traffic accidents. Traffic accidents occur for many reasons. One reason is the condition of the road itself. Depok is a sub-urban area of Greater Jakarta that has the Margonda Highway as one of its main roads. That highway has become strategic as a "backbone" in supporting the wheel of economics and societies in Depok’s civilization. Road Function Compliance Evaluation (RFCE) is a process of evaluating the compliance of a road component to the standards that have been made by authorities for safety reasons to avoid traffic accidents. Therefore, a road’s compliance should be evaluated periodically to minimize the possibility of traffic accidents. Up to this moment, RFCE is still executed by filling out a form manually. In this technological era, it seems that RFCE should be implemented into an automation application using an algorithm.
