Abstract

Semakin mahal dan terbatasnya lahan di perkotaan membuat pihak pengembang gedung banyak membangun berbagai fasilitas di bawah tanah, termasuk diantaranya adalah fasilitas parkir. Sayangnya keadaan ini seringkali mendorong perancang lebih memperhatikan kekuatan atau keindahan gedung dan ruangan dibandingkan faktor-faktor lain seperti kesehatan, sirkulasi udara, dan pencahayaan. Kondisi ruangan yang lebih tertutup dan lalu lintas sekitar yang seringkali macet, menyebabkan kualitas udara dalam ruang parkir bawah tanah menurun akibat pencemar udara terkonsentrasi hingga mencapai level membahayakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur kualitas udara di ruang parkir bawah tanah di Mall X di Jakarta dengan parameter CO, NO, dan total jamur dan bakteri dengan waktu pengukuran dilakukan pada hari kerja dan akhir pekan. Tingkat resiko kesehatan diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner dengan klasifikasi responden berdasarkan lama waktu paparan dan maksud atau fungsi keberadaan responden tersebut di mall. Hasil pengamatan konsentrasi CO dalam parkir bawah tanah melebihi baku mutu yang dikeluarkan oleh Peraturan Gubernur DKI Jakarta No. 56/2006. Tidak terdapat baku mutu dalam ruangan untuk NO, tetapi tingginya kadar NO di ruang parkir bawah tanah memungkinkan pembentukan NO 2 melalui proses oksidasi di udara ambient dan menaikan konsentrasi NO 2 yang diemisikan secara lansung oleh kendaraan bermotor. Pertumbuhan jamur dan bakteri di dalam parkir bawah tanah dimungkinkan akibat kelembaban tinggi dan suhu yang hangat serta pemeliharaan gedung yang kurang. Abstract

Walking is one of the short distance transportation activities for students of Universitas Indonesia. However, all around the campus there are still some pedestrian paths that are less maintained and connection-less than the rest. Knowing the existing condition of the current pedestrian infrastructure, factor in to the evaluation of the pedestrian pathways. This evaluation is necessary to determine the factors that influence the willingness of students to walk. This study uses survey and direct observation through the questionnaire given to the students of Universitas Indonesia. The results of the analysis based on the respondents' assessment variables for pedestrian infrastructure, indicates that the variable most influential is the facility itself, with a significance value below 0.01. As for the desire to walk away, the reliability of the walk way is the most influential variable with the significance values ​​below 0.01.

Abstract

Implementation of the contraflow special lane is expected to provide a solution to the lack of road capacity at the inner city highway (Cawang – Semanggi) during peak hour time. This research was conducted to find out and compare the performance  of the characteristics of the traffic flow between two points of observation (middle point and the exit after the contraflow special lane) in order to know the effectiveness of the contraflow lane. This research uses traffic survey by means of recording traffic condition in both points of observation to obtain more accurate traffic characteristic data. The analysis of traffic characteristic performance is conducted by comparing the results of the survey to the traffic parameters of standards from the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual and regulations from Bina Marga and Jasa Marga as well as the analysis through the relationship of traffic characteristics from Greenshields Theory to assess the traffic performance from both points of observation. The results show that the implementation of the special contraflow lane may decrease the degree of saturation from greater than 0.75 to less than 0.75 by giving the road additional capacity. This shows that the contraflow lane can be considered as an effective and worthy measure to ease the burden of the ever increasing number of cars passing through the toll road during peak hours.

Abstract

Universitas Indonesia as one of the campus that provides a wide variety of modes of transportation for campus visitors, one of them by providing bicycle transportation facilities A bicycle transportation research in UI campus is needed to determine the factors that influence the availability of bicycle transportation infrastructure for the academic community and the desire to use the bicycle transportation modes. This study uses survey and direct observation using the enclosed questionnaire addressed to the academic community of the University Indonesia. Analyzing the data with descriptive statistical and non-parametrical statistic methods , which determine the correlation and linear regression . The results of the analysis on bicycle transportation infrastructure assessment showed that the most influential variable powerful facilities. While the desire for cycling , reliability variable is the variable that most strongly influences.

Abstract

Currently walking is still not being a favorite way to transport in our society. Therefore, this research explored the opinions of people about the activity of walking itself. Different from any researches before, this research tried qualitative approach to explore the reasons why people are interested in and not interested in walking. The research was conducted using web-based questionnaire (online survey). After filtered, processed data includes the reasons why people are interested in and not interested in walking. Then this data analyzed using descriptive statistics and Chi-square correlation test using SPSS software. The test results showed that there is no significant correlation was found between gender and the reasons people are interested and not interested in walking.

Abstract

Depok Baru Station is one of the crowded station in jabotabek station because there is an intermodal outflow between rail modes of transportation to land mode. There is no clear pathway for pedestrian so that makes uncomfortable. This research is to analyze the characteristc of that pedestrian flow between 07:00:00 to 08:00:00 and 17:00:00 to 18:00:00 pm by dividing into 5 sections. The 5 sections are Depok Station New to ITC Depok, Depok Baru Station Baru to Terminal Depok, Depok Baru Station to market, ITC Depok to market, Terminal Depok to Market. The results of this research, obtained on the area in the morning, from Depok Baru Station to Market is 3407 (org.m / min) with a level of service B and in the afternoon, from Depok Baru station to ITC Depok is 3.5 (org.m / min) with a level of service A. The result of this research can be made clear pedestrian pathways and comfortable.

Abstract

Jakarta, as a sprawling metropolitan, is burdened with the daily activities of its population and their everyday movements. The huge amount of vehicles, especially light vehicles, moving towards the business districts such as Semanggi has filled to capacity the toll roads, more specifically the Jakarta Inner Ring Road, and thus traffic is the result. To increase the capacity and to decrease traffic, PT Jasa Marga has implemented a contraflow lane that starts from km 01+600 until km 08+600. This research is to study the traffic characteristics from the contraflow lane, with the focus at the entrance zone and the middle zone. The emphasis of this study is to understand the performance and effectivity of contraflow lane and the effect it has on the toll road in regards of the traffic characteristics (capacity, volume, speed and density). The method of this research is to compare existing conditions that is surveyed first-hand with standards set from the Public Works Minister, MKJI (Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia) and Greenshield’s Theory. The result of this research shows that the implementation of a contraflow lane decreases the degree of saturation from those greater than 0.75 to less than 0.75, by significantly increasing road capacity. Thus it can be concluded that the contraflow lane is effective and is an excellent means to decrease traffic.

Abstract

Keadaan dunia hingga saat ini menunjukkan pertanda terhadap manusia bahwa bumi perlahan-lahan memburuk. Salah satu pertanda tersebut yaitu perubahan iklim global, yang kenyataannya masih tidak banyak masyarakat yang menganggap serius masalah ini. Salah satu penyebab utama perubahan iklim dan pemanasan global yaitu emisi gas rumah kaca yang tidak hentinya diproduksi. 76% emisi rumah kaca berasal dari emisi carbon dioxide (CO2) [2] . Dengan dasar kontrobusi emisi CO2 dari produksi semen sebesar 5-7%[4] yang berarti kontribusinya cukup besar, salah satu teknologi yang ikut berperan dalam menurunkan tingkat emisi CO2 adalah Geopolimer. Geopolimer merupakan teknologi alternatif yang telah menjadi perhatian khusus di kalangan peneliti dan industri karena sifat ramah lingkungannya yang menghasilkan tingkat emisi CO2 rendah dalam proses pembuatannya. Pemanfaaatan geopolimer sebagai prekursor altaernatif semen tradisional (OPC) ini bisa dianggap memenuhi kriteria untuk digunakan pada kegiatan konstruksi umum berdasarkan karakterisasi melalui Tes Kuat Tekan, Kuat Lentur, XRD, XRF, SEM, dan AAS.

Abstract

Knowledge is transferred in order to run specific goals. Sustainable wastewater infrastructure plays a significant role to the human needs especially the demand for clean and safe water. People’s knowledge will also influence the process of treating water to be discharged to water bodies that support the sustainable wastewater infrastructure in Germany and Indonesia. The focus respondents in this research are the university students in Germany and Indonesia who are considered to have a capability to gain and implement specific knowledge. Survey was conducted to indicate how well the university students know about the wastewater knowledge, the knowledge transfer occurrence, and the correlation of some variables such as study background, degree program, and nationality of the university students with wastewater knowledge and knowledge transfer occurrence to support the sustainable wastewater systems and infrastructures in Germany and Indonesia. The wastewater knowledge of university students in Germany and Indonesia is still low and the correlation of some variables such as study background, degree program, and nationality of the University students with wastewater knowledge and knowledge transfer occurrence are still considered low.
