Abstract

The individual assessment potential review was conducted as part of talent management activities to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the individual’s potential and to identify competencies that require improvement. In addition to providing psychological measures to map employee profiles, the organization also considered performance evaluation results. The tool used in this assessment was the HAV Matrix. The subject of this study was an employee of PT. X. This research employed two data collection methods: psychological testing tools and interviews. At the end of the process, counseling sessions were conducted to provide developmental suggestions tailored to the individual’s needs through counseling programs, aiming to enable the individual to perform optimally. The research findings indicated that the subject falls into the "current star" category in the HAV Matrix analysis, which means the subject is classified as a high performer with moderate potential. This finding confirms that the subject is a promising candidate for the position of Purchasing Section Head but requires further development in certain areas. Penelitian asesmen individu potential review dilakukan sebagai bagian dari kegiatan talent management untuk mendapatkan gambaran menyeluruh tentang potensi yang dimiliki oleh individu serta mengidentifikasi kompetensi yang perlu ditingkatkan. Selain menyediakan pengukuran psikologis untuk memetakan profil karyawan, organisasi juga mempertimbangkan hasil evaluasi kinerja. Tools yang digunakan dalam asesmen ini adalah HAV Matriks. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 1 orang karyawan PT. X. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua metode pengumpulan data, yaitu alat tes psikologi dan wawancara. Pada akhir kegiatan dilakukan konseling untuk memberikan saran pengembangan yang diperlukan untuk kebutuhan pengembangan SDM melalui program konseling agar individu dapat bekerja dengan optimal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek termasuk dalam kategori “current star” dalam analisis HAV matriks, yaitu subjek berada pada rentang high performer dan moderate potential. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa subjek termasuk kader potensial untuk menduduki jabatan kasie purchasing namun membutuhkan beberapa pengembangan.

Abstract

Reading is a very important skill to master. The ability to read is an important part of human life as a window of knowledge. But not all students can read and understand reading fluently. Especially mentally retarded students who have intellectual abilities, memory, and concentration are very limited. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of Fernald's method in learning to read children with mental retardation who have problems in reading. The subjects of this study were third grade elementary school students with mental retardation who had early reading problems. The research method is single subject experiment and analysis technique using pretest posttest score chart. The data collection instrument used is WISC. Fernald's method was given in 6 meeting Sessions. The results of the study showed an increase in reading ability after the intervention to the subjects. So it can be concluded that Fernald's method can improve reading skills in third grade students who are mentally retarded. Membaca merupakan keterampilan esensial yang berperan sebagai pintu gerbang pengetahuan. Namun, tidak semua peserta didik memiliki kapasitas yang sama dalam menguasainya, terutama siswa dengan retardasi mental yang mengalami keterbatasan dalam intelegensi, memori, dan konsentrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji efektivitas metode Fernald dalam pembelajaran membaca bagi siswa dengan hambatan intelektual. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas tiga SD yang mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca awal. Menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen subjek tunggal dan analisis grafis melalui skor pretest dan posttest, data dikumpulkan dengan instrumen WISC. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi membaca setelah enam sesi penerapan metode Fernald, yang menegaskan potensi metode ini dalam mendukung perkembangan literasi pada anak berkebutuhan khusus. Tes informal disusun berdasarkan kurikulum sekolah Abdurahman (2012).

Abstract

Lately, problems related to pupils’ reading skill at school is increasing. So, teachers have to give more attention to the addressed problems. This study aims to examine the effectivity of the training for kindergarten teacher to uplift pupils’ reading skill through the jolly phonics method. This study involved 29 participants who work as kindergarten teacher in Jember. The training consisted of the presentation from experts, group discussion, role play, pre-test, and post-test. Data was analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test to examine the score difference before and after the training was implemented. Result shows that there is significant increasement (p=0,000) of the participants’ score after the training was implemented. Result of this study could be used as additional reference for implementing jolly phonics method to increase reading skill of the pupils at school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the milieu teaching approach as an intervention to improve receptive and expressive language skills in early childhood experiencing language delays. The research design used a single-case experimental design. The subject of this study was a boy aged 4 years and 11 months who had a delay in language development. Data were collected through various assessments (interviews, observations, and formal psychological tests). The results showed that there were significant changes in expressive and receptive language skills after being given milieu teaching through A-B-A analysis. This means that milieu teaching is effective in improving the language skills of early childhood experiencing language delays. The practical implication is the importance of the role of parents in providing appropriate and consistent stimuli to children, as well as the importance of awareness of the influence of the environment on learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas implementasi pendekatan milleu teaching sebagai intervensi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa reseptif dan ekspresif anak usia dini yang mengalami keterlambatan bahasa. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain eksperimen kasus tunggal. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak laki-laki berusia 4 tahun 11 bulan yang memiliki keterlambatan dalam perkembangan bahasa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui berbagai asesmen (wawancara, observasi, dan tes formal psikologi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan bahasa bahasa ekspresif dan reseptif setelah diberikan milleu teaching melalui analisis A-B-A. Artinya, milleu teaching  efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa anak usia dini yang mengalami keterlambatan bahasa. Implikasi praktisnya adalah pentingnya peran orang tua dalam memberikan stimulus yang sesuai dan konsisten kepada anak, serta pentingnya kesadaran akan pengaruh lingkungan dalam pembelajaran.
