Abstract

The low level of student participation in the teaching and learning process can be attributed to teachers' limited use of learning media in the classroom. This finding is based on observations conducted by the researcher in the fourth grade at SDN 1 Tambaksogra. The insufficient engagement of students in learning leads to a lack of comprehension of the lessons delivered by the teacher. This study aims to support the teaching process in elementary schools by developing visual learning media using augmented reality. Specifically, it focuses on the subject of natural and social science (IPAS). This research aims to create an interactive and user-friendly augmented reality-based visual learning medium that enhances student participation and facilitates a better understanding of the material. The research employs the ADDIE model. Data collection instruments include validation questionnaires from media and material experts, practical response questionnaires from teachers and students, and pre-test and post-test assessments. The results indicate that the developed augmented reality-based media received a score of 98%, signifying high validity. The material expert validation scored 80%, indicating validity. The student response questionnaire scored 95%, categorizing the developed media as highly practical. The pre-test and post-test results yielded an N-Gain score of 0.5, meeting the criteria for effectiveness.

Abstract

This research is based on the low early reading skills of students in Grade 2B of SD Negeri 1 Sumbang Banyumas. A solution to minimize this problem is to apply the make-a-match learning model assisted by flash cards. This study aims to improve students' early reading skills in Indonesian language subject, particularly for students in Grade 2B, using the make-a-match learning model assisted by flash cards. Classroom Action Research (CAR) was chosen for this research, consisting of 2 cycles. Each cycle includes two meetings and four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This study selected Grade 2B as the research subject, with 31 students. Data collection techniques included tests, observation, and documentation. The results of this study showed that the early reading skills of students in cycle I were less effective, with a completeness percentage of 74.20%. There was a significant improvement in cycle II, with a completion percentage of 83.88%. Thus, it can be concluded that using the make-a-match learning model assisted by flashcards can improve the early reading skills of students in Grade 2B of SD Negeri 1 Sumbang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of parents in guiding learning activities from home in fourth-grade elementary school students. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted at SDN Kaliwadas 01. The source of data used was primary data using interviews with teachers, parents and students, and secondary data in the form of documentation. The informant selection technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique. Analysis of the data used in this study using an interactive analysis model from Miles and Huberman which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study on the role of parents in guiding learning activities from home during the covid-19 pandemic, the results of interviews, observations, and documentation regarding the role of parents in learning from home, there are several problems found in parents when guiding learning activities from home, some of these problems can conclude in this study: the lack of students in understanding the material so that it requires parents to study material that is not in their field, limited facilities, especially in terms of quotas, parents' educational backgrounds. The active role of parents in mentoring learning, directing children to study well, limiting children from playing with gadgets and parents providing facilities for children.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to identify the factors causing low reading interest among upper-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Banjarsari Kulon. It employed a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study included upper-grade teachers, parents of students, and upper- grade students. Each class consisted of four students: one enjoyed reading, two did not enjoy reading, and one could not read. The selection of students utilized a purposive random sampling technique. The data analysis technique involved qualitative description from observations, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that students' reading interest at SD Negeri 1 Banjarsari Kulon is still very low. Two factors causing low reading interest among students are internal and external. Internal factors originate within the students, including reading ability, gender, reading motivation, reading habits, and laziness. External factors stem from outside the students, such as mismatched reading materials, television, family environment, school environment, mobile phones, and peer influence.Keyword: Factors Causing Low Reading Interest, Upper Grade. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab rendahnya minat baca siswa pada kelas tinggi di SD Negeri 1 Banjarsari Kulon. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas tinggi dimana setiap kelas ada empat siswa yaitu satu siswa senang membaca, dua siswa tidak senang membaca, satu siswa tidak bisa membaca, guru kelas tinggi, dan orang tua siswa. Pemilihan siswa tersebut menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat baca siswa di SD Negeri 1 Banjarsari Kulon masih sangat kurang terhadap bacaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua faktor penyebab rendahnya minat minat baca siswa, yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal adalah faktor yang berasal dari dalam diri siswa yaitu kemampuan membaca, jenis kelamin, motivasi membaca, kebiasaan membaca, malas membaca. Sedangkan faktor eksternal merupakan faktor dari luar diri siswa yaitu buku bacaan yang belum sesuai, televisi, lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah, handphone, dan teman sebaya.Kata Kunci:  Faktor Penyebab Rendahnya Minat Baca, Kelas Tinggi.

Abstract

This study is a research and development which aims to develop Thematic Apps applications in the form of android mobile learning media for elementary school students. This development research was carried out using the Four-D model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Media validation is carried out by three experts, namely media experts, material experts, and linguists. The media developed is tested in a limited and broad manner. Limited trials were conducted in the fifth grade of Keniten 2 Public Elementary School while extensive trials were conducted in Windujaya Public Elementary School and Karangnangka Public Elementary School. Based on the assessment of material experts, media experts, and linguists obtained an average score on the material aspects of 72.5 (Fairly Worthy), on the media aspect of 85.5 (Very Worthy), and on the language aspect by 75.0 (Worth ) Based on the response from two class V teachers, it showed that the average score of respondents 1 was 98.46% and from respondents 2 that the average score reached 83.08% with the category "Very Worthy". Based on the response of students in the development test obtained an average score on the repodusibility coefficient reaches an average of 0.5 while the scalbility coefficient reaches an average of 1.0 with the category "Very Eligible". The results of the validation test for improving student achievement are conducted using pretest and posttest obtained a gain value of 0.5 classified (Moderate).

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mendiskrisikan pengaruh gaya belajar visual, gaya belajar auditori dan gaya belajar kinetetik baik secara parsial maupun secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar. Jenis penelitian  adalah expost facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif,  subyeknya 63 yang dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan  tes. Data dianalisis dengan  korelasi dan regresi ganda.  Hasil pelitian menunjukan: (1) variabel visual learning style  berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada prestasi belajar. Hasil perhitungannya analisis regresi   Y = 61,14 + 0,95X  nilai Fh  > Ft  atau 4,05 > 4,00 dan r = 0,249; (2) variabel auditory learning style berpengaruh  positif dan signifikan pada prestasi belajar. Hasil analisis regresi adalah  Y = 58,93 + 1,46X  nilai Fh  > Ft  atau 5,91 > 4,00 dan r = 0,297; (3) variabel kinesthetic  learning style  berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada prestasi belajar.  Hasil analisis regresi adalah  Y = 56,66 + 1,39X , nilai Fh  > Ft  atau 5,95 > 4,00 dan r = 0,298. (4) variabel gaya belajar visual, gaya belajar auditorial dan variabel gaya belajar kinestetik secara bersama sama  berpengaruh  positif dan signifikan  terhadap prestasi belajar. Perhitungan  regresinya adalah Y = 5,8 + 1,129X + 1,845X + 1,776X.

Abstract

Learning media is used as a way to convey messages to students so that they can be conveyed more clearly and achieve educational goals, the current modern era requires digital-based learning media so that it can keep up with the times. Seeing this, researchers are interested in developing Smart Culture Hunter digital media after obtaining information that Class IV students of SDN 01 Belik have difficulty visualizing the material, especially on the material My Indonesia is Rich in Culture because of the extensive material and limited time so that students have difficulty describing the diversity of Indonesia. The purpose of the researcher developing Smart Culture Hunter is to overcome this problem, this learning media can be used anywhere so that learning becomes more flexible. This research uses the ADDIE model and involves various data collection instruments, including validation surveys from media and material experts, practicality questionnaires from teachers and students, and pre-test and post-test questions. The results of the research on Smart Culture Hunter media show that: Media expert validation resulted in a very valid score of 94%, material expert validation resulted in a very valid score of 96% and linguist validation resulted in a score of 95%. The teacher response questionnaire showed 100% and the student response questionnaire showed a result of 88% stating that Smart Culture Hunter was very practical. The N-Gain score was 0.5 from the pre-test and post-test, meeting the effectiveness requirements.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi akademik dan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas IIIA IPAS SDN 1 Kedungwuluh melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) yang didukung dengan media Wordwall. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya prestasi akademik dan minimnya keterlibatan siswa selama pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang masing-masing terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi, dengan menggunakan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam prestasi akademik dan aktivitas siswa. Pada Siklus I, nilai rata-rata siswa adalah 72,11 dengan tingkat ketuntasan 46%, sedangkan pada Siklus II, nilai tersebut meningkat menjadi 81,73 dengan tingkat ketuntasan 76%. Aktivitas belajar juga meningkat dari rata-rata 2,63 (55,5%) pada Siklus I menjadi 3,26 (78%) pada Siklus II. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa model TGT efektif meningkatkan prestasi dan keaktifan siswa, sehingga memenuhi indikator keberhasilan yaitu ketuntasan kelas sebesar 75%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena terdapat permasalahan yang membuat peneliti ingin melakukan kajian yang lebih mendalam dimana terdapat rendahnya tingkat sikap kedisiplinan peserta didik ketika di kelas dan berdampak menurunya prestasi belajar peserta didik. Sehingga perlu dilakukan peningkatan agar mendapatkan hasil yang sesuai dengan kkm di sekolah. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dimana menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Team Game Tournament TGT, dengan bantuan media belajar aplikasi qreatif educativ untuk mendukung permainan dalam pembelajar tipe TGT ini. Disini fokus objek terhadap kelas IV, dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi sikap kedisplinan, angket kedisiplinan, observasi guru, observasi siswa. Kemudian didapat hasil dari siklus I dan siklus II yaitu rata-rata 55,25 dengan kriteria cukup dan siklus II rata-rata 77,3 baik, hasil angket pada siklus I dan II yaitu Nilai 70 dengan kriteria Baik dan siklus II Nilai 81 dengan kriteria Baik sekali, hasil observasi guru 74 dengan kriteria baik dan siklus II 94 dengan kriteria Baik seklai dan pretasi belajar mendapat rata-rata siklus I 65 % dengan kriteria Cukup dan siklus II 77,5%. Ini menunjukan adamya peningkatan sikap kedisiplinan dan pretasi belajar pada peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik melalui model group investigation berbantu media videoscribe di kelas IV. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. PTK tersebut dilakukan selama 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan pembelajaran dengan satu pertemuan satu rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Rancangan Penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan (planning), tindakan (action), observasi (observation) dan refleksi (reflection). Subjek penelitian yaitu kelas IV SDN 2 Selakambang berjumlah 25 peserta didik terdiri dari 13 laki-laki dan 12 perempuan. Alat pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, lembar observasi aktivitas peserta didik, dan lembar observasi aktivitas guru. Hasil meningkatnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dapat dilihat disetiap tahapan siklus. Hasil PTK ini menunjukan pembelajaran menggunakan model group investigation berbantu media videoscribe dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada tema 7 Indahnya Keragaman di Negeriku di kelas IV SDN 2 Selakambang. Peserta didik mengalami peningkatan setiap siklus pada siklus I mendapatkan rata-rata 2,78 sedangkan siklus II memperoleh rata-rata 3,65 tergolong kriteria baik.
