Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to develop a standard job analysis and human resource competency model for Islamic Micro Finance Institutions (Baitul Maal wat Tamwil), so it could be a reference for others, providing a standard professional human resources management on MFIs. This research is a field study designed as a survey, through the method of interviewing job holders and the supervisor with direct observation of the activities of field staffs. The data was analysed in the form of a verbal description of qualitative data. The main activity of the staff of MFIs is to encourage the low economic community through the activities of saving and financing. MFIs main characteristic is the principle of being directly in the field thus forming networks through regular meetings and maintaining a reliable service. MFIs personnel competency model consists of a cluster model based on teamwork/collaboration, customer focus, and communication competencies; technical cluster includes technical expertise and managing work competencies; and personal cluster is integrity, achievement orientation, and self-control competencies.Keywords: Baitul Mal Wattamwi, competency model, job description, job specification, micro finance institution

Abstract

This submission activity for society is aimed to give macrame handicraft coaching by making functional productlike vase pendulum from kur rope, nylon rope and the T-shirt yarn. Beside that, forraising the entrepreneurship soul for house wives RT. 08 RW. 05 Kelurahan Cempaka Baru, Central Jakarta.The submission activity method for society is using extracurricular lecture, demonstration, and question answer in making functional product like vase pendulum. This coaching held by lecturers from Management Study Programme Faculty of Economics YARSI University and supported by University students. This activity works with RT. 08 RW. 05 Kelurahan Cempaka Baru, Central Jakarta The result of the submission activity for society is coaching of functional things making like vase pendulum. The coaching runs well. The audience is able to do and make functional things well and they are very enthusiastic to join the coaching from the beginning to the end.

Abstract

Kabupaten Pandeglang memiliki sekitar 1000 Usaha Mikro dan Kecil (UMK), dimana diantara UMK yang memproduksi makanan dan/atau minuman masih terdapat UMK yang tidak memiliki sertifikat halal. Berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 33 Tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal, semua produk yang masuk, beredar dan diperdagangkan di Indonesia harus memiliki Sertifikat Halal. Ruang lingkup sertifikasi halal berlaku untuk semua kategori, termasuk untuk usaha berskala mikro dan kecil yang menghasilkan barang atau jasa. Universitas YARSI bermaksud memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan para pelaku UMK di Kabupaten Pandeglang yang masih belum memahami tentang produk halal dan mengalami kesulitan dalam mendaftarkan produknya untuk mendapatkan sertifikasi halal. Pembekalan dilaksanakan melalui edukasi dan simulasi tentang produk halal dan tata cara untuk mendapatkan Sertifikat Halal. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini yaitu terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan para peserta terkait pengetahuan tentang produk dan proses sertifikasi halal. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari peningkatan nilai pre-test dan post-test tentang pengetahuan peserta terhadap materi edukasi dan simulasi yang diberikan. Pelaku UMK di Kabupaten Pandeglang telah memahami pentingnya pemahaman tentang produk halal pada produk yang mereka hasilkan dan perjualbelikan. Terjadi peningkatan kemampuan peserta untuk melakukan proses pengajuan Sertifikasi Halal pada Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH).Kata kunci: Halal Produk, Sertifikasi Halal, UMK

Abstract

Creativity is the result of a relationship between talents, processes, and the environment in which individuals or groups create new and useful products. Creativity knows no age. From childhood to old age. This activity aims to foster creativity and improve the skills of OSIS Board of Daarul Uluum Bantar Kemang Islamic Boarding School, Bogor City through training in making flower pot hangers. The method used in this activity is Community Development Practice and combined with the Peer Assisted Learning Model. The trainees were able to make several models of flower pot hangers from kur rope, cloth rope and cotton rope. Through this activity there has been an increase in the ability and knowledge of the students and they are increasingly aware of the importance of creativity in being creative. This is reflected in their enthusiasm for being able to make several models of hanging pots in a relatively short time.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan transformasional adalah pendekatan kepemimpinan kontemporer yang ditandai dengan menginspirasi pengikut untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis apakah faktor kepemimpinan dapat memoderasi disiplin kerja dan komitmen organisasi karyawan untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya. Penelitian ini dirancang sebagai studi lapangan dengan jenis penelitian explanatory research. Subyek penelitian adalah pegawai perusahaan swasta dan pemerintah, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 140 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan Metode Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja, komitmen organisasi dan kepemimpinan dapat digunakan sebagai model yang memiliki kesesuaian yang besar untuk memprediksi pengaruh variabel yang diteliti terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian juga membuktikan bahwa disiplin kerja karyawan dan komitmen yang tinggi terhadap organisasi berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kinerja karyawan. Dalam penelitian ini, kepemimpinan transformasional tidak memiliki peran untuk memperkuat disiplin kerja atau komitmen organisasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

Bantarsari village located in Ranca Bungur subdistrict, Bogor regency, West Java, is part of Kategori Desa Maju (Developed Village Category) with an IDM score of 0,7525. One of the potential economic resilience that can be developed in Bantarsari village are village owned enterprises (BUMDes). The purpose of this community service is to boost sales and developed the potential of small businesses (UKM) that exists in Bantarsari BUMDes. The result of focus group discussion (FGD) by potential BUMDes and competency survey by UKM managers pertaining the solution to improve UKM, is to create a product sales workshop through marketplace. Participants of this activities are managers of UKM whose products will be sold through marketplace, managed by Bantarsari BUMDes. Participants are successfully registered to Shopee and are able to use the available feature by the application to promote and to increase the chances of their product being bought (check out) by potential buyer.

Abstract

Remote working or work from home based on the HR Management function is included in the work flexibility carried out by the company to improve the quality of employee work life. In the current development of the Covid-19 Pandemic, many organizations have adopted policies to enforce remote working on employees. This study aims to determine the conditions of productivity, technostress and work-life balance of employees who do remote working and analyze the effect of technostress on work-life balance and productivity of remote working employees. This type of research is a field study designed as a survey using a questionnaire. The research population is employees who are or have been doing remote working or working from home at least 2 days a week with a total of 213 respondents. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equaling Model (PLS-SEM) analysis. The results show that high levels of stress due to the use of technology while working from home can cause the balance of personal life and work-life of employees to decrease. In the end, this condition can reduce their work productivity. The readiness of employees to use technology to do remote work needs attention so that work productivity can be maintained

Abstract

The Muslim population in Indonesia represents a large potential consumer base for food products. Obtaining a halal product certificate adds value for businesses, enabling them to produce and sell halal products that align with the consumption values of Muslim consumers. Additionally, the government mandates that food and beverage products from MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) must obtain halal certificates. Ciseeng Village, located in Bogor Regency, West Java, is home to many MSMEs that produce food, yet relatively few have halal product certificates. The aim of this Community Service Activity is to help develop the potential of MSMEs in the Ciseeng area by increasing the competitiveness of their food product businesses. One key effort in this development is the issuance of halal certificates for MSME food products. A major obstacle is the lack of knowledge among MSMEs about the criteria for halal products and the procedures for obtaining halal certificates. To address this, the YARSI University Community Service Institute offers education on halal products, workshops on the self-declaration process for halal certification, and direct assistance with registration on the Halal Information System (SIHALAL). As a result of this activity, there was an increase in understanding of halal products, and of the 15 MSMEs that registered for halal product certification, 8 successfully obtained halal certificates from BPJPH.

Abstract

Preparation of financial statements must be in accordance with applicable financial accounting standards. Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (FAS for MSME) is one of the financial accounting standards that is simple and easy to implement by MSMEs. Graduates of Vocational Accounting Department who later work in MSMEs are expected to be able to assist MSMEs in making financial reports according to standards. Community service aims to build students' awareness of the importance of FAS for MSME, to provide knowledge about the rules in FAS for MSME, to prepare financial reports, and to utilize and use excel-based technology to make financial reports according to FAS for MSME. This training starts from the preparation stage, namely a preliminary survey, determining the schedule, and preparing the training. The implementation stage is the implementation of training activities in the form of material and practice as well as participant evaluation in the form of pre-test post-test assessment and practice results. Furthermore, the final stage is the evaluation of training and the preparation of reports and outcomes. The training was conducted using training and mentoring methods for students majoring in accounting to prepare financial reports according to FAS for MSME with excel applications. This training activity was held in the hall and computer laboratory of SMKN 44 Jakarta. The training was attended by 34 students. This community service activity runs smoothly and has achieved its goals. This is indicated by the results that 100% of students have obtained an increase in hardskill competencies, namely being able to prepare financial reports according to FAS for MSME using the excel application

Abstract

Banyak kasus merokok dimulai sejak remaja. Dengan semakin muda periode mulai merokok, semakin banyak partikel rokok yang dihirup dan semakin lama saluran napas terdampak asap rokok. Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Kemiri Tangerang mengalami masalah yang serupa yaitu adanya siswa merokok. Melalui skrining dan pengelompokan siswa (tidak merokok, berisiko merokok, dan merokok) diharapkan intervensi yang dilakukan akan lebih akurat. Kelompok tidak merokok diberikan edukasi sedangkan kelompok berisiko dan merokok diberikan konseling berkelompok. Materi yang disampaikan berupa dampak rokok dan cara mencegah merokok. Selain itu diberikan pelatihan kepada guru Bimbingan Konseling (BK) mengenai konseling berhenti merokok dengan metode 5A’s disertai dengan penyerahan alat peraga. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 54 siswa kelas 7 dan 8 serta 1 orang guru BK. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan mengukur tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap. Nilai pre-test pengetahuan 75,9 meningkat menjadi 94,8 saat post-test. Sedangkan nilai sikap 91,9 saat pre-test menjadi 95,6 saat post-test. Selanjutnya dilakukan monitoring 2 minggu setelah intervensi untuk mengetahui retensi pengetahuan dan sikap. Upaya pencegahan merokok perlu dilakukan secara kontinu dan terintegrasi. Selain itu, alat peraga merokok yang menarik dapat menjadi opsi sebagai media yang membantu pemahaman remaja tentang dampak merokok.
