Abstract

Hutan lindung adalah hutan yang mempunyai fungsi pokok sebagai perlindungan sistem penyangga kehidupan untuk mengatur tata air, mencegah banjir, dan memelihara kesuburan tanah. Arthropoda  merupakan  hewan  tanpa  tulang  dan  memiliki  kaki  beruas-ruas.  Filum  Arthropoda terdapat 5 kelas utama yaitu kelas Crustacea, kelas Chilopoda, kelas Diplopoda, kelas Arachinida, dan kelas Insekta. Kelimpahan adalah parameter kualitatif yang mencerminkan distribusi relatif spesies  organisme  dalam  komunitas,  sedangkan  dominansi  adalah  parameter  yang  menyatakan tingkat terpusatnya (penguasaan) spesies dalam suatu komunitas.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelimpahan dan dominansi Arthropoda tanah di kawasan hutan lindung Kecamatan Jailolo Kabupaten Halmahera Barat. Metode penelitian inibersifat deskriptif, dengan menggunakan plot dan pithfall-trap, dan berlangsung pada bulan Mei2010.Telah dilaksanakan penelitian, dan ditemukan jumlah spesies secara keseluruhan berjumlah15 spesies yang tergolong dalam 13 famili. Ke-13 famili tersebut meliputi Belostomatidae, Phaneuidae, Lulusidae, Melolonthidae, Lycosidae, Loxoscelidae, Scutigeridae, Chrysomelidae, Prorhinotermidae, Therididae, Oedipodidae, Forficulidae.   Dari ke-13 famili tersebut hanya famili Formicidae ditemukan 3 spesies (Formicida latreille, Entylia sinvata, Oecophylla saragilina), sedangkan 12 famili lainnya hanya ditemukan 1 spesies dengan jumlah individu yang bervariasi. Jumlah total individu dari 13 Famili yang ditemukan adalah 308 individu dengan nilai indeks dominansinya  0,11197. Kata kunci : Hutan lindung, Arthropoda tanah, kelimpahan, dominansi

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the teacher certification on teacher’s motivation and performance in State High Schools in Ternate City, Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample used in this study was 193 teachers who were selected by proportionate random sampling. The data was analyzed using path analysis supported by descriptive statistical analysis. The results indicate that the teacher certification has a direct effect on teacher's motivation and performance. Therefore, improving the application of teacher certification, and achievement motivation can improve performance.

Abstract

Ornithoptera croesus lydius is one of endemic butterlfy in Halmahera island North Maluku. It is macrolepidotera tipe, with interesting colour body at male and female butterfly. At Ornithoptera croesus lydius male and female butterfly have variation morphology size and colour body. The genetic variability on the  O.c lydius  butterflies is level intraspecies variability. The objective of the research is to know the genetic variability on the O.c lydius based on PCR-RAPD marker. The most value of genetic distance  is 0,783 on O.c lydius male and female from hotspot at 780 masl. The percentage of polimorphic  is 71,95%. Base on similarity value and polymorphic percentage show genetic variability on intraspecies level of the Ornithoptera croesus lydius.
