Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the effect of religiosity on psychological well-being and to see the role of peer social support in moderating the effect of religiosity on psychological well-being in PAI students at the Daar Al-Uluum Asahan Islamic Institute. The research method uses a quantitative approach. the data collection tools used are religiosity scales, psychoogical well-being and social support of friends as many as 200 samples in this study were obtained by purposive sampling technique. then the data were analyzed by moderate regression analysis. The data were analyzed using the structural equation model (SEM) technique multifariat amos version 23.0. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is an effect of religiosity on psychological well-being and there is a role of peer social support as moderation in the effect of religiosity on the psychological well-being of PAI students of the Islamic Institute of Religion Daar Al-Uluum Asahan.

Abstract

Procrastination is a common behavioral issue in the academic domain, characterized by the tendency to delay tasks. This study investigates the relationship between parental social support and academic procrastination, examining the mediating role of self-concept among students at Institut Syekh Abdul Halim Hasan Binjai. The population of the study comprised 612 students, with a sample of 242 respondents selected through random sampling. Data were collected using three scales: self-concept, parental support, and academic procrastination. Multiple regression analysis was employed to assess the relationships between variables. The findings reveal a significant negative relationship between parental support and academic procrastination. Additionally, a negative relationship is identified between parental support, mediated by self-concept, and academic procrastination. The study indicates that 24% of the variance in academic procrastination is accounted for by parental support through self-concept. The study concludes that higher levels of parental support enhance students' self-concept, which in turn significantly reduces academic procrastination. These findings underscore the importance of parental involvement in fostering positive academic behaviors among students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada orang tua anak autis di sekolah dasar dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap resiliensi melalui self-compassion. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambil sampel total sampling yaitu 102 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala penelitian self-compassion, resiliensi, dan dukungan sosial. Metode analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif alat uji analisis yang digunakan adalah SmartPLS v.3.0 dengan metode analisis SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap resiliensi, dukungan sosial berpengaruh posifitif siginifikan terhadap self-compassion, self-compassion berpengaruh positif dan siginifikan terhaadap resiliensi, dan dukungan sosial berpengaruh terhadap resiliensi melalui self-compassion.

Abstract

Student engagement in their school includes cognitive, behavioral and emotional dimensions. At Raksana Medan High School, it can be seen that student engagement in learning is still low. This can be seen from the fact that there are still many students who are still holding devices during the learning process, so that the level of focus and self-regulation in learning decreases. This research aims to see the influence of School Climate and Self Regulated Learning on student engagement at Raksana High School Medan. This research method uses quantitative with a sample size of 175 students. The research results show that there is a significant influence on school climate, self- regulated learning with student engagement seen from the coefficient of determination (R2) = 54.9% with a p value = 0.000 < 0.50. This means that the emergence of student engagement is influenced by school climate and self-regulated learning with a contribution of 54.9%.

Abstract

Pendidikan di sekolah bagi anak cerdas berbakat perlu dilakukan inklusi dan ramah anak. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberi penguatan kepadaguru-gurumelaksanakan pembelajaran akademik secara terpadu pengembangan diri di SD Negeri Percobaan Sei Petani Medan. Pemilihan lokasi mitra didasarkan pada kebutuhan guru di kelas akselerasi untuk mengentaskan masalah perkembangan dan perilaku siswa secara terpadu dengan pembelajaran akademik. Terutama pengendalian perilaku agressifitas, emosional, sosial dan pengaturan diri.Penguatan kemampuan guru dilakukanmelalui pendekatan supervisi pendampingan. Metodenya adalah workshopdengan teknik creative art. Kemampuan guru yang diperkuat adalah memetakan masalah, membuat dan melaksanakan rancangan pembelajaran akademik terpadu pengentasan masalah, konseling dan play therapy. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan bahwa guru yang mengajar di kelas akselerasi dapat memetakan masalah siswa, merencanakan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran akademik secara terpadu dengan teknik kreatif, melakukan konseling dan play therapy sederhana. Siswa yang mengalami masalah dalam pengendalian diri, agressivitas, masalah emosi dan masalah sosial menjadi berkurang. Berdasarkan hasil ini dikemukakan bahwa penguatan kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran akademik terpadu pengembangan diri efektif dalam mengentaskan masalah perilaku siswa di SD Percobaan jalan Sei Petani Medan.Kata Kunci: Inklusi, Cerdas Berbakat, Creative Art

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), has impacted various sectors, including education. This study aims to explore strategies for enhancing teachers' competencies in mastering AI at junior high schools through educational and training programs. The main focus of this research is to understand teachers' experiences and perceptions regarding the effectiveness of AI training in improving their professional competencies for 21st-century learning. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design at public junior high schools in Lhokseumawe. Data collection methods include in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and the analysis of relevant documents. The findings indicate that the majority of teachers who participated in AI training reported improvements in their professional competencies, particularly in using technology for automated assessments and providing instant feedback. However, the main challenges faced by teachers include the lack of advanced training and inadequate infrastructure. School management support and collaboration among teachers were identified as crucial factors in the successful implementation of AI in the classroom.This study suggests the need for more applicable advanced training, enhanced technological infrastructure, and continuous guidance to support a more effective integration of AI into the learning process.
