Abstract

The skill of writing an informal invitation letter in VA class of Kadujajar 3 Elementary School is still low by looking at the results of learning to write an informal invitation letter which of the invitation letter sections, the use of effective sentences and correct spelling. Therefore, classroom action research  is carried out using round table and window shopping methods to improve the learning result in writing informal invitation skills in VA class of Kadujajar 3 Elementary School. Data collection technique in this study using learning outcomes tests, observations and iinterviews. Student learning outcomes in this study assessed the invitation letter sections, the use of effective sentences and correct spelling, students who reached the minimum criteria of mastery learning score in the first cycle amounted to  70%, in the second cycle reach 80%, in the third cycle 100%.

Abstract

In carrying out a construction project, the project should be a solid building and have a long life. Criteria and characteristics of a good building of course. It should be realized that changes may occur in the future and will affect the pattern of the plan it self. The length of time for project completion has a major impact on the increase in overall project costs. has been completed or implemented When viewed from the amount of work completed, the concept of Earned Value is one of the control methods used to control project costs and time in an integrated manner. This method is used to analyze implementation performance and make project completion estimates that provide information on project performance in a reporting period and produce cost and time estimates for the completion of all project work. This project is planned for 204 days or about 29 weeks with a contract value of Rp. 106,671,014,961.00

Abstract

This research aims to find out the picture related to instagrammable, memorable tourism experience and revisit intention, as well as examining the impact of instagramable and memorable tourism experience on revisit intention at Situ Bagendit after revitalization using descriptive and verification quantitative methods. The data collection technique was carried out through distributing questionnaires and then the data was analyzed using the structural equation model partial least squares (SEM-PLS) with statistical tools in the form of SMART-PLS version 3. This research resulted in an overall picture related to instagrammability, memorable tourism experience and revisit intention. in Situ Bagendit after revitalization it is in the good category. Apart from that, it was found that there was a positive and significant influence of instagrammable and MTE on the intention to revisit Situ Bagendit after revitalization.

Abstract

AbstractProject management is the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling of a company's resources to achieve predetermined short-term goals that have been set by top-level management. This definition emphasizes that project management includes a variety of processes that integrate a company's resources to achieve specific project goals. In a project, there are various options that can be used to do scheduling. One form of scheduling is by using the CPM method. The purpose of this study is to find out the critical path in the UPI Convention Hall and Exhibition Center Building Construction project. The critical path method, or CPM, is a method that can be used in project planning and supervision. In this study, the author is interested in discussing the analysis of the critical path in the construction of the UPI Convention Hall and Exhibition Center Building using the CPM method. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with secondary data in the form of an S-curve. Therefore, the creation of CPM network diagrams must have the longest duration according to the plan. Based on the results of the research, it was obtained that the critical path in the construction of the UPI Convention Hall and Exhibition Center Building occurred in two paths or in two work activities, namely in CA – B.II.2 activities where these activities were in standard architecture activities and in roof cover structure activities with a duration of 147 days and 63 days respectively, therefore the total duration acquisition was in accordance with the project plan, which was 210 days.Keywords:Construction Management; CPM; Critical Path; ProjectAbstrakManajemen proyek adalah perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, dan pengendalian sumber daya perusahaan untuk mencapai tujuan jangka pendek yang telah ditentukan yang telah ditetapkan oleh manajemen tingkat atas. Definisi ini menekankan bahwa manajemen proyek mencakup berbagai proses yang mengintegrasikan sumber daya perusahaan untuk mencapai tujuan proyek tertentu. Pada sebuah proyek terdapat beragam pilihan yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan penjadwalan. Salah satu bentuk penjadwalan adalah dengan menggunakan metode CPM. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jalur kritis pada proyek Pembangunan Gedung Convention Hall and Exhibition Center UPI. Metode jalur kritis atau CPM, merupakan metode yang dapat digunakan dalam perencanaan serta pengawasan proyek. Pada penelitian kali ini penulis tertarik untuk membahas mengenai analisa terhadap jalur kritis pada Pembangunan Gedung Convention Hall and Exhibition Center UPI dengan menggunakan metode CPM. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan data sekunder berupa kurva S. Pada Pembangunan Gedung Convention Hall and Exhibition Center UPI ini direncanakan akan selesai dalam kurun waktu 210 hari. Maka dari itu pembuatan diagram jaringan CPM harus memiliki durasi paling lama sesuai dengan perencanaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh jalur kritis pada Pembangunan Gedung Convention Hall and Exhibition Center UPI ini terjadi pada dua jalur atau pada dua aktivitas pekerjaan, yaitu pada kegiatan CA – B.II.2 dimana kegiatan tersebut adalah pada kegiatan arsitektur standar dan kegiatan struktur penutup atap dengan masing masing durasi 147 hari dan 63 hari. Maka dari itu total perolehan durasi sudah sesuai dengan perencanaan proyek yaitu 210 hari.Kata Kunci:CPM; Jalur Kritis; Manajemen Konstruksi; Proyek

Abstract

In facing the era of globalization where the demand for foreign language proficiency is increasing, learning foreign languages, especially English, becomes very important. Because of this, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) requires students who will register for the graduation thesis defense to attach an English proficiency certificate. Considering that the main focus of the curriculum in the Building Engineering Education program is not English, it is necessary to analyze their English proficiency level before taking the English course. The method used is an online test through the EF SET website, the results of which will then be converted into CEFR categories consisting of seven levels of English proficiency. Based on the analysis results, the English proficiency levels of class A and class B students in terms of listening and reading comprehension are assessed to be in the upper beginner category. In the reading comprehension aspect, class A students fall into the intermediate category with a percentage of 30.8%, while the beginner and elementary categories each receive less than 30%, with the remainder in the upper intermediate and advanced categories at 5%, and less than 3% at the proficient level. Meanwhile, for class B, 30% are at the beginner level, followed by the largest group at the elementary level (25%), then intermediate (16.7%), upper intermediate (11%), and advanced and proficient levels at less than 10%. In the listening comprehension aspect, both class A and class B are at the beginner level with percentages of 48% and 52%, respectively.

Abstract

Abstract: The internship recruitment process at PT Semen Padang was previously conducted manually, leading to issues such as data duplication, delays in selection, and limited information transparency. This study aims to design and implement a web-based information system to digitalize the entire internship registration and selection process. The system was developed using the Laravel framework and MySQL database, adopting the waterfall development method consisting of requirements analysis, system design (using Figma and Draw.io), implementation, and black-box testing. The results show that the system effectively improves the registration process, expedites document verification, and provides real-time selection status updates for applicants. Key features include online registration, document upload, status monitoring, admin verification, and automated report generation. Based on the testing results, all features function as intended without significant issues. In conclusion, the system contributes to enhanced data accuracy, operational efficiency, and transparency in the internship admission process. The system also has potential for future enhancements, such as automated notifications and academic system integration. Keywords: Information system, internship, Laravel, MySQL, waterfall, digitalization, transparency, efficiency Abstrak: Proses penerimaan peserta magang di PT Semen Padang sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual, yang menimbulkan berbagai kendala seperti duplikasi data, keterlambatan proses seleksi, dan minimnya transparansi informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi berbasis web untuk mendigitalisasi proses seleksi magang secara menyeluruh. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan framework Laravel dan database MySQL, dengan pendekatan metode pengembangan waterfall yang terdiri atas tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem (menggunakan Figma dan Draw.io), implementasi, serta pengujian menggunakan metode black-box. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu meningkatkan efisiensi proses pendaftaran, mempercepat verifikasi dokumen oleh admin, serta memberikan akses informasi seleksi secara real-time kepada peserta. Fitur utama sistem meliputi pendaftaran online, unggah dokumen persyaratan, pemantauan status seleksi, verifikasi data oleh admin, dan cetak laporan otomatis. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, seluruh fitur berfungsi sesuai kebutuhan tanpa ditemukan kendala signifikan. Kesimpulannya, sistem ini berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan akurasi data, efisiensi operasional, dan transparansi proses penerimaan peserta magang. Sistem ini juga memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut dengan penambahan notifikasi otomatis dan integrasi sistem akademik kampus. Kata kunci: Sistem informasi, magang, Laravel, MySQL, waterfall, digitalisasi, transparansi, efisiensi.

Abstract

The analysis of designed rainfall frequency is a key input in various designing in the field of hydraulic engineering, such as floodplain mitigation, water structure construction, and flood inundation mapping. The calculation of rainfall frequency analysis still largely uses Microsoft Excel-based statistics that are calculated manually. The purpose of writing this article is to utilize HEC DSS and HEC SSP software in analyzing rainfall frequency at the measurement location. Measured rainfall data collected from the BMKG Hang Nadim rain station over the past 12 years has been inventoried in the HEC DSS and descriptions have been inputted in sections A to F. Then the data that has been input into HEC DSS will be integrated with HEC SSP. By plotting rainfall data at HEC SSP and running an analysis of the rainfall data, the rainfall frequency analysis at the measurement location was obtained. From running the HEC SSP with Normal, Log-Normal, Gumbel, and Log-Pearson III rainfall distributions, the distribution fit tests using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov method yielded the smallest error value for Log-Pearson III at 0.149 and for the Anderson-Darling method at 0.176. Therefore, the rainfall frequency analysis used is based on the Log-Pearson III rainfall distribution. Where the rainfall design values for return periods of 2, 5, 10, 20, and 50 years are sequentially 118.434 mm/day, 172.94 mm/day, 217.94 mm/day, 268.73 mm/day, 355.81 mm/day, and 442.90 mm/day. The rainfall frequency analysis results are used as input data to compute the flood discharge recurrence interval with the Rational methode. Using a flood discharge with a 10-year return period (Q10) and a concrete channel, the proposed drainage channel dimensions of 0.80 m and 1.20 m were determined.

Abstract

The location of the Rawa Jitu road, Bone Bawang Regency, Lampung Province, is a collector road of the type 1 lane, 2 directions and has a road width of 11 m consisting of a 7 meter traffic lane and 2 meter right and left shoulders each. In accordance with the road engineering requirements for road sections in the primary network system of the 2020 Minister of Public Works regulations based on the road class where the Rawa Jitu road section is located, including class III roads, road space requirements are needed in order to determine the size limits for each road section to comply with the classification specified. had been planned in advance. At the research location, the Rawa Jitu road section had an average daily traffic of 11,960 passenger cars, 1,300 passenger buses, 500 medium buses, 3,409 medium trucks, 570 large trucks, 20,760 motorbikes. Like road classification, road space requirements have also been regulated in applicable invitation regulations, especially in PP No. 34 of 2006. The road space in question includes road use space (RUMAJA), road property space (RUMIJA) and road monitoring space (RUWASJA). Based on calculations that have been carried out using the SNI 1732-1989F component analysis method with a planned age of 20 and 10 years, the following are layer D plus 5 cm, surface layer 10 cm, top foundation layer 15 cm, bottom foundation layer 20 cm.

Abstract

DESCRIPTIVE STUDY ABOUT QUALITY OF LIFE IN SCHOOL AGE AND ADOLESCENT WITH EPILEPSY ABSTRACT Epilepsy is Chronic Neurological disease which have impact in various aspects of life, such as disruption of growth, cognitive function, psychosocial aspects, inhibit of daily activities, and the risk of death which can affect quality of life patients. Consider that the risk of anxiety and depression most occured in patients which have low quality of life. The aim of this study to describe about quality of life in children and adolescent with epilepsy at one of Lv.II hospital in Cimahi. Design of this study used quantitative descriptive with sampling technique used non problability consecutive sampling. Total of sample is 40 respondent aged 8-18 years old which devided by school age (n=4) and adolescent (n=36).The instrument of this study used QOLIE-AD-48 to identify 8 dimensions related to the quality of life in people with epilepsy (PWE), with analyzing technique descriptive data statistic. The result show that mean of Total Summary score is 65,38. Dimension which have high score is School Behavior, Epilepsy Impact, dan Physical Functioning. While dimension which have lower score is Attitudes toward epilepsy, Health perception, and Stigma. According to this research, it’s so important to educate and counsel the patient related to eplilepsy disease information and the step minimalize the negative impact from society’s stigma to increase PWE’s quality of life.
