Abstract

Tulisan ini menyajikan ayat ayat alquran yang didalamnya menyajikan pesan pesan "kedamaian" dalam bingkai kerukunan dan toleransi. Menggali pesan kedamaian dalam teks suci, pada dewasa ini dirasa sangat perlu dan mendesak. Konflik manusia yang dilatarbelakangi perbedaan pandangan keagamaan masih saja marak terjadi dimana mana. Tidak hanya antar penganut satu agama dengan agama lain, konflikpun terjadi bahkan faksi / kelompok dalam satu agama yang berbeda pandangan / penafsiran. Atas dasar itu, memunculkan kembali pesan pesan kitab suci tentang kerukunan dan perdamaian merupakan kebutuhan dalam rangka menumbuhsuburkan kesadaran akan pentingnya kerukunan dan toleransi dalam masyarakat yang mudah terpecah akibat perbedaan keyakinan.

Abstract

Adanya keterkaitan Hadis dengan ruang dan waktu, merupakan fakta yang tidak bisa dipungkiri. Rasulullah tidak hidup secara abadi, tidak pula berkelana menjelajah ke pelosok-pelosok dunia. Maka wajar, jika apa yang terungkap dari Hadis, terkadang dijumpai corak khas kearab-araban. Fakta ini, jika tidak dijadikan pertimbangan dalam memahami Hadis, niscaya Hadis akan sulit diadaptasikan pada zona lain dan tempo yang berbeda. Diperlukan terobosan baru untuk mensikapi problem ini. Salah satu metode yang muncul sebagai solusi atas permasalahan ini adalah pemahaman Hadis dengan membedakan antara sarana yang berubah-ubah dengan tujuan universal yang bersifat tetap. Sehingga, umat akan lebih terfokus pada tujuan yang universal, daripada terjebak pada sarana-sarana yang selalu berkembang. Dengan demikian, jika metode ini diterapkan, Hadis mampu menjadi sebuah ajaran Islam yang shahih li kulli zaman wa al-makan.

Abstract

Cases of sexuality due to promiscuity have become a serious problem among teenagers. One of the important efforts in overcoming this is increasing religious understanding, especially the understanding of the Qur'an and Hadith. In theory, it is stated that religiosity is able to produce commendable human character. This study tries to prove this theory, with a focus on finding a correlation between the understanding of the Koran and Hadith about the prohibition of promiscuity with students' romantic relationships. The research method applied is quantitative research with the main data source being students of class XI MAN 1 Mojokerto Regency. In measuring the understanding of the Qur'an and Hadith, a test instrument is used. Meanwhile, in measuring the attitude of the love affair, a questionnaire instrument was used. The data from the two variables were then measured for their correlation. The results of the study stated that there was a correlation between the variables of understanding the Qur'an and Hadith (X) and the attitude of romance (Y). The correlation between the variables X and Y is significant (significant) and positive, but in the low category. So it can be concluded that the relationship attitude 30% is influenced by the understanding of the Qur'an and Hadith, the remaining 70% is influenced by other factors beyond understanding. This conclusion is in line with the theory developed previously.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss learning strategies for the study of hadith for the youth generation. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying a descriptive-analytical method. The results of the study state that it is important to shape change, innovation, and strategies to prepare oneself as an educator who understands the backgrounds and abilities of each student or youth. According to Muzakkir's view, the learning strategy for the study of hadith for youth emphasizes innovative efforts and is in line with the times. This becomes half in the success of the learning achievement process. Educators must be actively involved in the learning process, one of which is being able to apply strategies that are both innovative and fun so that students can understand learning and their psychological aspects also develop well.

Abstract

The conversation around the writing of Hadith is always an interesting thing. This is due to the view that the Hadith was written late a century after the Prophet's death. Ulama argue that after the death of the Prophet until the end of the 1st century Hijriyah, Hadith was only narrated orally from rote-memorization. This condition is certainly very unfavorable for the Hadith, because without a disciplined writing like the Qur'an, the authenticity of the Hadith is highly questionable. In this modern century, a scholar named M. Musthofa Azumi emerged. He conducted in-depth research on the history of writing hadith. The results of his research, have changed the viewpoint of the temporary scholars who stated that Hadith was not written for a century, Azumi concluded that the writing of Hadith had actually been started since the time of the Prophet, and continued to develop until its golden peak, namely the 2nd century Hijrival. This is because there is a lot of strong evidence about it. Azami's evidence is used as an argument to criticize the views of the ulama and refute the negative accusations made by Western orientalists against the Prophet's Hadith.

Abstract

Keterkaitan Hadis dengan situasi masa lampau, merupakan realita yang tidak bisa diingkari. Rasulullah hidup 62 tahun di Abad 6 Maschi. Beliau tidak hidup secara abadi, tidak pula menyaksikan setiap perubahan peradaban dunia dari masa ke masa. Maka wajar, jika apa yang termuat dari Hadis, terkadang dijumpai corak khas peradaban klasik Arab. Fakta ini, jika tidak dijadikan pertimbangan dalam memahami Hadis, niscaya Hadis akan sulit diadaptasikan pada tempo yang berbeda dari saat Hadis itu lahir. Diperlukan upaya baru untuk mensikapi problem ini. Beberapa upaya yang muncul sebagai solusi atas permasalahan tersebut adalah pemahaman Hadis dengan mempertimbangkan latar konteks sosio-historis saat Hadis itu disabdakan, juga dengan membedakan sarana dan tujuan, serta dengan melihat peran dan fungsi Muhammad. Sehingga umat akan mendapatkan makna yang lebih jernih serta lebih terfokus pada inti tujuan Hadis (makna universal), daripada sekedar terjebak pada tekstualitas Hadis yang memiliki keterikatan kuat terhadap waktu (zaman). Dengan demikian, jika ini diterapkan. Hadis mampu menjadi sebuah ajaran Islam yang shalih li kulli zaman wa al-makan dan mampu memberikan manfaat secara total.

Abstract

Lukman Hakim Saifuddin's proposal of religious moderation offers a compelling perspective for understanding Hadith on inter-religious relations. This study aims to present an understanding of Hadith regarding relations with non-Muslims through the lens of Lukman Hakim Saifuddin's religious moderation. To achieve this, the research employs Islamic sciences, hermeneutic approaches, and descriptive methods through content analysis. Lukman Hakim Saifuddin advocates for a balanced, inclusive, and adaptive perspective in interpreting Hadith. His approach emphasizes the humanitarian aspect, ensuring that religious understanding and practice uphold the noble values of religion, particularly in maintaining human dignity and public benefit. The findings suggest that, according to Saifuddin’s religious moderation, Hadith on relations with non-Muslims advocate for harmony under normal conditions, reflecting the universality of Islamic teachings. However, in specific situations where injustice and violations of mutual commitments occur, resistance is necessary to uphold justice and mutual commitments. While Lukman Hakim Saifuddin's concept of religious moderation provides a broad framework, it lacks specific epistemological details for understanding religious texts. Therefore, to effectively apply this idea in interpreting religious texts, it is essential to integrate other scientific tools, especially the science of interpretation, to complement and support the overarching concept of religious moderation.

Abstract

The religious practices of Muslims consequence of the interpretive models they use present an interesting subject for study. The presence of both textual and contextual approaches has, to some extent, influenced differences in religious attitudes and behaviors. Therefore, this research seeks to identify the differences between textual and contextual models of understanding hadith and their influence on religious tolerance and interfaith cooperation. To begin the study, two research questions are posed: First, how do the attitudes toward religious tolerance compare between students with a textualist understanding and those with a contextualist understanding of hadith? Second, how do their attitudes toward cooperation differ in understanding hadith? These research questions are examined through quantitative research using a causal-comparative (ex post facto) method with a sample of second-semester students from the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Da'wah at IAIN Kediri. The research indicates that there is a significant difference between textual and contextual groups in terms of religious tolerance. The t-test results show a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, smaller than 0.050, indicating a statistically significant difference. Likewise, in terms of cooperation attitude between the textual and contextual groups, the t-test results showed a sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.050, so the difference is quite significant.

Abstract

Work ethic is a universal cultural value that reflects an understanding of the purpose of work and life. Hadiths offer not only spiritual teachings but also practical guidance on honest and responsible work behavior. In the face of globalization and technological disruption, Islamic values derived from hadiths can provide a moral foundation for a productive and integrity-based work culture. This study is important in strengthening spiritually grounded work ethics and addressing the lack of moral value internalization in today’s professional environment. This research employs a qualitative library research method. Primary sources include the Qur’an and authentic hadiths from canonical collections such as Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. Secondary sources consist of scholarly literature discussing Islamic perspectives on work ethics. The analysis involves takhrij al-hadith, examination of the sanad and matn, and interpretation by classical scholars. These were further analyzed in light of Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory, which distinguishes between hygiene factors and motivational factors in job satisfaction. The findings reveal that hadiths encouraging hard work, forbidding laziness, and promoting self-reliance are authentic and valid as legal and ethical references. This supports the view that work is not only a social obligation but also an expression of faith and self-actualization. Consistent with Herzberg’s theory, these hadiths demonstrate that job satisfaction is influenced not only by external conditions but also by deeper moral and spiritual values. Therefore, these Islamic principles remain highly relevant in shaping ethical and professional behavior in the modern workforce.

Abstract

Puritanical, fundamental, radical and intolerant religious understanding can trigger acts of violence in the form of terrorism. The countermeasure that can be done is to instill moderation values in understanding and practicing religious teachings. One of the important means in instilling religious moderation values is through Islamic education, especially pesantren-based education. Therefore, examining the strategic steps of pesantren in instilling moderation is important to do, especially when dealing with puritanical texts. This study aims to find out the understanding, implementation and cultivation of religious moderation values of puritanical Hadiths in pesantren. This research was designed qualitatively by using observation, interview and documentation instruments to obtain the required data. The results of this study state that in understanding puritanical Hadith on the issue of hudud, pesantrens tend to be textualist, as a form of caution on Allah's law. While its implementation is moderate, showing a wise attitude as a result of the breadth of the pesantren’s scientific insight. Meanwhile, the cultivation of religious moderation values is carried out with a habituation learning model, as an effective way and in accordance with the conditions of the pesantren.
