Abstract

The operation of Distributed Generation (DG) with renewable energy sources integrated with distribution networks through microgrids poses challenges in terms of operation and control. If this is left unchecked, it can have a negative impact on system security and reliability in terms of voltage and frequency stability that will be disrupted because of frequent variations in power production and loading levels. This study investigates voltage and frequency stability in microgrids because of the penetration of DG with photovoltaic (PV) renewable energy sources in the power system using the Virtual Synchronous Generator (VSG) control technique. The VSG is a control alteration that enhances the capabilities of the power system so that voltage and frequency stability can be preserved and improved. The VSG control method with additional damping controllers that increase inertia with additional virtual inertia is used to simulate the speed of restoration of voltage and frequency stability of the power system due to the penetration of PV-based power plants. The simulation results show that at the time of penetration of PV-based power plants in the power system, there is a momentary instability in voltage and frequency, but it is immediately dampened by VSG control and can be quickly restored so that the stability of voltage and frequency is maintained.

Abstract

Kurva kapabilitas generator memberikan batasan jumlah pembangkitan daya aktif dan daya reaktif dari generator dan juga digunakan untuk memberikan batasan pada operasi Optimal Power Flow (OPF). Kurva kapabilitas generator biasanya diberikan oleh pabrikan generator. Dalam prakteknya dapat terjadi generator sudah mencapai batas pembangkitan maksimumnya sebelum mencapai nilai yang tertera pada kurva kapabilitas yang diberikan pabrikan generator. Hal ini dapat terjadi karena letak beban yang terlalu jauh dari pembangkit atau variasi nilai beban yang selalu berubah-ubah, sehingga mempengaruhi nilai batas pembangkitan maksimum generator. Dalam penelitian ini, kurva kapabilitas generator dibentuk menggunakan pendekatan sistem Modified Single Machine to Infinite Bus (M-SMIB), yaitu suatu metode untuk menentukan batas kestabilan steady state generator setiap saat terjadi perubahan pada letak dan nilai beban. Selanjutnya dilakukan optimisasi pada sistem pembangkitan dengan batasan kurva kapabilitas generator yang diperoleh sehingga pembagian beban pada setiap unit pembangkit selalu berada dalam batas kestabilan steady state generator dan batas keamanan pengoperasiannya . Penelitian diaplikasikan pada sistem pembangkitan IEEE 4 bus 2 generator.

Abstract

Technology is needed in every industry because it can simplify the production process, improve production quality, and enhance the company's reputation in the sight of consumers. The cylinder counting activity at PT Batuah Energi Indonesia is still done manually, involving time and standardized estimation of LPG cylinder loads, which faces inaccuracy issues. In fact, PT Batuah Energi Indonesia has facilities that handle many LPG cylinders from various users and providers of LPG cylinders. While accurate cylinder counts are beneficial to the industry, companies need technology that can automatically calculate the number of filled LPG cylinders. Therefore, this study was carried out to demonstrate to students how to develop automatic tube counters using an infrared E18-D80NK as a tube detector, NodeMCU microcontrollers ESP8266 as controllers, Arduino IDE for developing programs, and IoT for remote monitoring. The developed device approach, specifically using the E18-D80NK infrared proximity sensor based on the NodeMCU ESP8266, can be coded using the Arduino IDE compiler. For the detection of the number of tubes, the E18-EN80K infrared sensor is used and data transmission wirelessly utilizes the Blynk application. The results of the automatic tube counter monitoring tool were successfully tested with a 100% accuracy rate, utilizing the E18-D80NK infrared sensor and NodeMCU microcontroller ESP8266, and can be monitored remotely using Blynk.

Abstract

Prevalensi stunting di Indonesia pada 2 tahun terakhir telah mengalami penurunan tetapi masih berada di atas standar WHO (<20%) salah satunya di Kalimantan Selatan. Diketahui salah satu faktor risiko utamanya adalah pengetahuan masyarakat yang kurang dan edukasi kesehatan merupakan alternatif solusinya. Oleh karena itu diperlukan alternatif pemecahan masalah yang lebih dekat dengan masyarakat sehingga lebih dapat diterima yaitu melalui pendekatan budaya salah satunya Madihin. Madihin adalah seni bertutur lisan yang berisi petuah pada masyarakat Suku Banjar, Kalimantan Selatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan kesenian Madihin sebagai media edukasi pencegahan stunting (Macenting). Jenis penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development (R&D) Level 3. Subjek uji coba terdiri 30 peserta Posyandu Remaja Tamban yang dibagi 3 kelompok (intervensi Macenting berbahasa Banjar, Macenting berbahasa Indonesia, dan kontrol) dan  diambil secara Total Population Sampling. Hasil uji t-berpasangan didapat p-value=0,000 untuk kelompok Macenting berbahasa Banjar dan p-value=0,002 untuk Macenting berbahasa Indonesia. Hasil uji One Way ANOVA didapat p-value=0,007 atau ada perbedaan pengetahuan responden sebelum dan setelah diintervensi Macenting. Hasil uji Post Hoc menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan responden antara kelompok Macenting berbahasa Banjar dengan kontrol (p-value=0,016) dan kelompok Macenting berbahasa Indonesia dengan kontrol (p-value=0,003), akan tetapi tidak ada perbedaan antara kelompok Macenting berbahasa Banjar dengan berbahasa Indonesia (p-value=0,477). Disimpulkan bahwa kesenian Madihin terbukti dapat dikembangkan menjadi media edukasi kesehatan pencegahan stunting.

Abstract

Platform Google Play Store menyediakan fitur pemberian masukan dan penilaian dari pelanggan terhadap aplikasi yang tersedia. Aplikasi retail di android dapat menjadikan hal tersebut sebagai salah satu metrik utama untuk memantau kinerja. Analisis sentimen merupakan salah satu bagian dari NLP dan text mining yang digunakan untuk melihat sentimen dari opini dalam ulasan pengguna di aplikasi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan performa algoritma SVM dan logistic regression dalam klasifikasi sentimen ulasan pengguna aplikasi tersebut. Dari 4250 data ulasan pengguna, 3400 data digunakan sebagai data training dan 850 data digunakan sebagai data testing. Hasilnya didapatkan klasifikasi dengan SVM dan logistic regression sama-sama memiliki tingkat akurasi 0,87, namun namun Logistic Regression menunjukkan performa yang lebih baik dalam mengidentifikasi sentimen positif dengan nilai F1 score 0.89 dibandingkan SVM (0.78). Logistic Regression juga memiliki misklasifikasi yang lebih sedikit (110) dan nilai True Positive (TP) dan True Negative (TN) yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan SVM. Secara keseluruhan, Logistic Regression menunjukkan performa yang lebih baik dalam mengklasifikasikan sentimen ulasan pengguna aplikasi retail dibandingkan SVM.

Abstract

The evolution of Web 2.0 technology has significantly influenced the use of Android applications, enabling users to provide feedback through reviews and star ratings. In managing omnichannel retail businesses, this user-generated content serves as a valuable source of information for performance evaluation and strategic management of both online and offline operations. Large-scale user review data is well-suited for analysis through text mining, particularly in sentiment analysis, when combined with topic and keyword filtering in the business domain. This study utilizes the RoBERTa Transformer model for the sentiment classification of user reviews. Among the 520 user reviews, 211 displayed good emotion, while 309 showed negative sentiment. By applying filtering processes to topics and keywords within the omnichannel retail business domain, the study identifies "economic value" and "delivery and CRM" as priority areas for improvement. This conclusion is drawn based on the significant disparity between positive and negative sentiments. As a result, management can formulate strategies to enhance the performance and user experience of the KlikIndomaret Android application.

Abstract

Panel surya akan menghasilkan energi listrik sesuai besar intensitas cahaya yang diterimanya dari pancaran cahaya matahari. Panel surya bekerja secara optimal pada standar suhu normal (25°C), apabila temperatur panel surya terlalu panas akan menurunkan kinerja dari sel surya tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah merancang sistem pendingin otomatis panel surya. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan mengalirkan air pada bagian belakang panel surya melalui pipa saluran air yang terbuat dari pipa kapiler tembaga pada bagian belakang panel surya sehingga suhu panel surya tidak menerima panas berlebih yang dapat mengakibatkan kinerja dari panel surya tidak maksimal. Pengujian dilakukan pada panel surya 30 Wp menggunakan pendingin otomatis dan tanpa pendingin otomatis. Hasil menunjukkan daya rata-rata dari panel surya tanpa pendingin sebesar 5,13 Watt dan rata-rata suhu nya sebesar 57,74 °C, sedangkan daya rata-rata panel surya menggunakan pendingin didapat 6,15 Watt dan rata-rata suhu nya sebesar 50,39 °C. Panel surya dengan pendingin otomatis memiliki daya lebih besar 1,02 Watt atau peningkatan daya sebesar 1,2%.

Abstract

The development of outstanding human resources can be achieved through the application of Science and Technology (S&T) in education. The focus of applying S&T is on the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning approach. The STEM learning approach equips students with the ability to think creatively, critically, and problem-solving oriented, as well as to work collaboratively in teams, adapt to technological advancements, and continue to innovate. A lack of examples regarding the methods and applications of the latest technology in STEM fields poses a problem for students in schools. Students often struggle with understanding theories due to the absence of engaging demonstrative examples. The use of the Internet of Things (IoT) in various fields and daily life serves as an example of STEM application. Introducing IoT in several science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics can provide engaging and relevant learning experiences. The goal of this Community Service activity is to provide an introduction and examples of IoT application as a supporting model for STEM learning at SMAN 1 Banjarbaru. The method used involves socializing IoT technology and including practical applications of IoT in STEM fields, such as assembling IoT kit components with WeMos D1, ESP32 NodeMCU, and various sensors for measuring temperature and pH. It is expected that students will understand the application of the latest IoT technology in STEM fields. Additionally, the school will be able to provide engaging, up-to-date learning experiences in technology that are relevant to the latest curriculum. As the result, three groups of students, each consisting of five members, successfully developed an IoT system for measuring liquid temperature and pH.
