Abstract

Stress is a condition of tension that affects emotions, thought processes, and the physical or psychological state of humans due to pressure from within or from outside a person, which can interfere with activities that can cause various diseases. Therefore, a tool is made to detect stress levels so that a person can monitor their condition and prevent stress from getting more severe and detrimental to the health of the body and mind. The stress level detection tool is designed using a galvanic skin response (GSR) sensor to detect skin response through a person's sweat glands and a heart rate sensor to detect heart rate. Furthermore, the reading results will be processed by microcontroller and then the stress level decision will be made using the fuzzy logic method and will be classified into Relax, Anxiety, Calm, and Stress. Based on the test results, the GSR parameter has the highest accuracy of 99.78%, and the heart rate parameter has the highest accuracy of 99.63%.

Abstract

This study explores the application of deep reinforcement learning (DRL) to solve the control problem of a single swing-up inverted pendulum. The primary focus is on investigating the impact of discount factor parameterization within the DRL framework. Specifically, the Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (DDPG) algorithm is employed due to its effectiveness in handling continuous action spaces. A range of discount factor values is tested to evaluate their influence on training performance and stability. The results indicate that a discount factor of 0.99 yields the best overall performance, enabling the DDPG agent to successfully learn a stable swing-up strategy and maximize cumulative rewards. These findings highlight the critical role of the discount factor in DRL-based control systems and offer insights for optimizing learning performance in similar nonlinear control problems.

Abstract

To optimize land and yards as well as to produce healthy plants and minimal pest disturbances can be done with hydroponic farming techniques. Hydroponic plants such as vegetables have high nutrition and are healthy because they are free from the use of pesticides. In addition, hydroponics can also beautify the yard or yard of the house. For this reason, in this community service, counseling will be carried out on how to grow crops using hydroponics. With this activity, it is hoped that Women Farmers Group (KWT) at Jaten, Sendang Rejo will be more productive and can make the best use of the land by farming. It can also save expenses on kitchen ingredients, such as vegetables, spices, etc. The hydroponic stages are carried out in several stages, namely: sowing seeds (water spinach and mustard), carrying out hydroponic workshops, and implementing hydroponic practices. Hydroponic activities have been carried out well, so that further plant care is necessary until the plants can be harvested.

Abstract

The majority of Indonesia's population is Muslim, including more than 13,000 people with hearing impairments. In carrying out congregational prayers, the Deaf find it difficult to follow the instructions of the Imam's movement. The presence of hearing aids cannot be used by all persons with hearing impairments, and hearing aids often cause a buzzing sound, thus disturbing concentration. Therefore, in this study, a gyroscope bracelet will be made to assist people with hearing impairments in following the instructions of the Imam's movement when carrying out congregational prayers. The bracelet worn by the Imam will send a code in the form of a change in angle to the bracelet used by the Deaf congregation. The Z angle is a vertical angle in the gyroscope where the Z angle has an angular velocity of 360 degrees per second. The control system uses Arduino nano FT232RL FTDI FT232. The communication module uses HC-12 SI4463, with a wireless frequency of 433.4 - 473.0 MHz. The sensor for detecting changes in motion is the MPU6050 gyroscope sensor, the vibration indicator uses a micro vibrator motor. The bracelet used by the deaf will read the code from the Imam's device, with a notification in the form of a different vibration on every change in prayer movement. After experimenting with 30 people, the percentage of success was 84% for all prayer positions. Thus, the gyroscope bracelet tool for prayer guides for the Deaf can help the Deaf community in carrying out congregational prayers.
