Abstract

This paper presents the assessment of a number of factors affecting bus travel time and a relationship model between those factors and bus travel time. Statistica Neural Network (SNN) tool is used to solve this complex phenomenon. Data collected include bus travel time, distance, average speed, and number of bus stop. The results show that bus travel time is well predicted using variables of distance, average speed, and number of bus stops. The bus travel time increased due to the increase of distance and number of bus stops, while the higher the average speed from one stop to another, the lower bus travel time.Keywords: bus travel time prediction, distance, average speed of bus, number of bus stop

Abstract

Abstract

Abstrak Suara manusia memiliki ciri yang beraneka ragam, sehingga dapat dijadikan media komunikasi yang efektif. Oleh karena itu banyak penelitian yang berkaitan dengan suara manusia dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengenalan suara. Proses pengembangan pengenalan suara dilakukan secara realtime berdasarkan jenis kelamin untuk menghasilkan akurasi yang tepat dalam batas waktu yang telah ditentukan. Metode Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) level 3 dan Dynamic Time Wraping (DTW) digunakan sebagai metode ekstrasi ciri dan metode pengenalan suara. Pada metode ekstrasi ciri Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) level 3 didapatkan 8 buah ciri. Sedangkan metode pengenalan suara menggunakan Dynamic Time Wraping (DTW) dilakukan dengan menghitung diskriminasi jarak terkecil antara dua ciri yang berbeda tanpa dilakukan pelatihan terlebih dahulu. Pengenalan suara diujikan pada 6 orang penutur pria dan 6 orang penutur wanita secara bergantian dengan masing-masing data pengukuran 900 pasang. Hasil persentase rata-rata pengenalan akurasi terbaik mencapai 54,6% dari pengujian terhadap 6 orang penutur pria secara bergantian dan 54,17 % dari pengujian terhadap 6 orang penutur wanita secara bergantian dari masing-masing pasangan data yang diperoleh secara realtime. Kata Kunci : Dynamic Time Warping, DTW, Discrete Wavelet Transform, DWT, Realtime.

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia merupakan bahasa nasional bangsa Indonesia yang dapat diartikan sebagai lambang bunyi yang digunakan sebagai alat komunikasi. Dalam proses komunikasi tersebut dapat diperoleh sebuah informasi berupa isyarat. Banyak penelitian tentang isyarat tutur Indonesia. Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan otomatisasi pengenalan isyarat vokal Indonesia dengan Multi Layer Perceptron untuk meningkatkan akurasi, sensitifitas, spesifitas dan presisi. Pengenalan dilakukan dengan Discrete Wavelet Transform pada 100 orang penutur menghasilkan 500 data ciri untuk training dan testing. Proses klasifikasi menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 95,9%, sensitifitas 90,2%, spesifitas 97,5%, dan presisi 89,8%.

Abstract

In order to avoid battery failure, a battery management system (BMS) is necessary. Battery state of charge (SOC) and state of health (SOH) are part of information provided by a BMS. This research analyzes methods to estimate SOH based lithium polymer battery on change of its internal resistance and its capacity. Recursive least square (RLS) algorithm was used to estimate internal ohmic resistance while coloumb counting was used to predict the change in the battery capacity. For the estimation algorithm, the battery terminal voltage and current are set as the input variables. Some tests including static capacity test, pulse test, pulse variation test and before charge-discharge test have been conducted to obtain the required data. After comparing the two methods, the obtained results show that SOH estimation based on coloumb counting provides better accuracy than SOH estimation based on internal ohmic resistance. However, the SOH estimation based on internal ohmic resistance is faster and more reliable for real application

Abstract

This paper presents global sliding mode control and conventional sliding mode control for stabilization position of a levitation object. Sliding mode control will be robusting when in sliding mode condition. However, it is not necessarily robust at attaining phase. In the global sliding mode control, the attaining motion phase was eliminated, so that the robustness of the controller can be improved. However, the value of the parameter uncertainties needs to be limited. Besides that, the common problem in sliding mode control is high chattering phenomenon. If the chattering is too large, it can make the system unstable due the limited ability of electronics component. The strategy to overcome the chattering phenomenon is needed. Based on simulation and experimental results, the global sliding mode control has better performance than conventional sliding mode control.

Abstract

This paper proposes a simple scheme of Proportional-Derivative (PD) plus Feedforward controller on SO(3) to control the attitude of a quadrotor. This controller only needs the measurement of angular velocity to calculate the exponential coordinates of the rotation matrix. With rotation matrix as an error variable of the controller, the simulation shows that the controller is able to drive the attitude of the quadrotor from hovering condition to desired attitude and from an attitude condition goes to the hovering condition, despite the system is disturbed. When the system is convergent, the rotation error matrix will be a 3x3 identity matrix.

Abstract

Palmprint identification is part of biometric recognition, which attracted many researchers, especially when fusion with face identification that will be applied in the airport to hasten knowing individual identity. To accelerate the process of verification feature palms, dimension reduction method is the dominant technique to extract the feature information of palms.The mechanism will boost if the ROI images are processed prior to get normalize image enhancement.In this paper with three sample input database, a kernel PCA method used as a dimension reduction compared with three others and a skeleton filter used as a image enhancement method compared with six others. The final results show that the proposed method successfully achieve the target in terms of the processing time of $ 0.7415 $ second, the EER performance rate of 0.19 % and the success of verification process about 99,82 %.

Abstract

The fuzzy logic algorithm is an artificial intelligence algorithm that uses mathematical logic to solve to by the data value inputs which are not precise in order to reach an accurate conclusion. In this work, Fuzzy decision tree (FDT) has been designed to solve the path planning problem by considering all available information and make the most appropriate decision given by the inputs. The FDT is often used to make a path planning decision in graph theory. It has been applied in the previous researches in the field of robotics, but it still shows drawbacks in that the robot will stop at the local minima and is not able to find the shortest path. Hence, this paper combines the FDT algorithm with the potential field algorithm. The potential field algorithm provides weight to the FDT algorithm which enables the robot to successfully avoid the local minima and find the shortest path.
