Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the aerobic endurance of Soccer players in the Academy U-15 age group through VO2max measurement. Soccer is a popular sport that requires optimal physical fitness, one of which is indicated by the VO2max value, which describes the body's capacity to utilize oxygen during intensive physical activity. VO2 max is an important indicator for determining a player's aerobic endurance. Materials and Methods: The research method used is a quantitative descriptive approach, utilizing the bleep test (multi-stage fitness test) to measure the VO2 max level of players. This study involved 24 samples selected by purposive sampling based on specific criteria. The data obtained were then analyzed using VO2max norms to classify the aerobic endurance levels of the players. Result: The study's results showed that Soccer Players Academy's aerobic endurance varied, with 8% being "very poor," 50% being "poor," 17% being "fair," 21% being "good," and 4% being "excellent." Most players fell into the "poor" category, indicating a need to improve their aerobic fitness. Conclusion: Based on these findings, it is recommended that additional training programs, such as interval training and cross-country, be implemented to improve players' VO2 max. In addition, coaches are expected to pay special attention to training planning that focuses on physical endurance and ensures a balance of nutrition and healthy lifestyles for players. This study contributes to developing measurable physical fitness-based soccer coaching programs.

Abstract

This study introduces Interval Track Lighting (ITL), an innovative, programmable visual pacing system designed to enhance the efficacy of interval training among competitive swimmers. Despite interval training's recognized physiological benefits, its practical application in aquatic sports often suffers from imprecise pacing, reliance on verbal cues, and limited individualization. ITL addresses these challenges by providing real-time visual feedback via synchronized LED lights installed along the swimming lane, allowing swimmers to match their strokes to target time intervals set by coaches. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) framework using the ADDIE model comprising analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases. A prototype was developed and tested over 14 training sessions involving eight age-group swimmers. The effectiveness of the ITL system was evaluated through a mixed-method approach combining pretest-posttest sprint performance, structured observations, interviews, and surveys. The results revealed a statistically significant improvement in 50-meter sprint times (mean improvement = 0.84 seconds; p = 0.014; Cohen’s d = 0.87), with swimmers reporting enhanced pacing accuracy and focus. Coaches highlighted ITL’s usability and contribution to reducing cognitive and logistical load during training. The findings suggest that ITL not only improves interval training outcomes but also fosters athlete autonomy and supports self-regulated learning. This study contributes to the growing field of technology-assisted sports training by offering a scalable, evidence-based solution for optimizing performance in swimming and potentially other time-regulated sports.

Abstract

Berdasarkan analisis situasi dengan berdasarkan kondisi eksisting dari mitra bahwa masyarakat Desa Grogol Tulangan angka stunting makin bertambah mengakibatkan pertumbuhan anak yang kurang dan status gizi masih sangat memperhatikan, perekonomian masyarakat masih sangat kurang, masyarakat desa kurangnya edukasi mengenai kesehatan dan status gizi anak dan dibutuhkannya strategi untuk mencegah stunting tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi kepada ibu hamil dan ibu yang memiliki balita dan anak usia dini tentang pencegahan terjadinya stunting pada balita dan anak usia dini. Metode yang ditawarkan adalah metode workshop dan pelatihan. Kegiatan pengabdian mengenai edukasi stunting dan gizi seimbangpada balita dan ibu hamil dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu, kader kesehatan, dan pengasuh anak balita tentang Gizi pada balita agar untuk mencegah stunting sehingga mereka dapat mengamalkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan peserta terkait gizi seimbang, stunting dan aktivitas fisik untuk ibu hamil.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi sistem monitoring dan evaluasi prestasi atlet bulutangkis untuk mengoptimalkan hasil kompetisi di PB Platinum GOR Platinum Arena Araya Kota Malang. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah belum optimalnya sistem evaluasi dan monitoring tentang program Latihan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi atlet dalam kompetisi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif dengan metode ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, simulasi dan praktik langsung. Materi yang diberikan mencakup analisa jenis latihan, pemahaman tentang pemanasan dan pendinginan, sistem recovery, nutrisi sebagai pendukung prestasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman tentang sistem evaluasi dan monitoring tentang program latihan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi atlet dalam kompetisi. Hasil refleksi menunjukkan adanya antusisme peserta tinggi tentang pemahamam atlet tentang evaluasi dan monitoring sehingga diharapkan adanya peningkatan prestasi pada kompetisi

Abstract

Dinamika kehidupan modern di Kecamatan Tulangan menuntut produktivitas tinggi, namun masyarakat menghadapi tantangan dalam mengelola waktu dan energi secara efektif. Fenomena burnout serta rendahnya partisipasi aktivitas fisik menjadi masalah utama yang berdampak pada penurunan kualitas hidup. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan produktivitas melalui integrasi manajemen waktu dan aktivitas fisik mikro. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup observasi lapangan, pelatihan intensif selama 7 minggu dengan pendekatan 30% teori dan 70% praktik, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan. Peserta terdiri dari 45 orang perwakilan karyawan, pelaku UMKM, ibu rumah tangga, dan pengurus karang taruna. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman manajemen waktu sebesar 85%, adopsi aktivitas fisik mikro oleh 78% peserta, penurunan keluhan kesehatan 70%, serta terbentuknya 5 kader dan 3 kelompok mandiri. Program ini berhasil menciptakan model intervensi holistik yang terbukti efektif meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat melalui pendekatan integratif antara produktivitas dan kesehatan.

Abstract

Objective: This community service program aimed to improve the physical condition of football players at a football club in Sidoarjo Regency through sport science–based assistance. Method: The program involved needs analysis, initial physical fitness assessment, assistance in designing and applying physical conditioning programs, and evaluation of outcomes. Educational sessions and practical on-field mentoring were provided to the coaches and players. Results: The program resulted in enhanced understanding of sport science-based physical training, leading to improvements in several components of players’ physical conditions. Coaches and players gained valuable knowledge about the importance of structured physical training. Novelty: This initiative bridged the gap between theoretical sport science principles and their practical application in a local football club, offering a systematic, sustainable physical training guideline. It exemplifies the role of physical education lecturers in developing sports performance at the local level.
