Abstract

Limbah cair tahu di lokasi penelitian meliputi amilum sebesar 4,032%, protein 1,415%, pH 4,35, BOD 352,737 mg/l, dan COD sebesar 474 mg/l, dan jumlahnya melebihi melebihi Nilai Ambang Batas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mengetahui biodegradasi limbah cair tahu menggunakan bakteri indigen yang potensial mereduksi protein dan karbohidrat, pH dan BOD serta COD secara in vitro, (2) Mengetahui hasil penelitian tentang biodegradasi limbah cair tahu dari mikroorganisme indigen dapat digunakan sebagai bahan penyusunan bahan ajar Mikrobiologi Lingkungan di Perguruan Tinggi. Rancangan penelitian eksperimen yaitu uji biodegradasi in vitro menggunakan RAK secara Faktorial, dengan perlakuan pertama yaitu variasi jenis isolat dan waktu inkubasi. Eksperimen kedua dengan perlakuan variasi volume starter dan waktu inkubasi yang berpengaruh terhadap uji reduksi amilum dan protein, pH, BOD, dan COD. Kedua penelitian eksperimen tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan Anava Ganda, dilanjutkan uji Duncan Multiple Range Test untuk melihat perbedaan signifikasi variasi uji perlakuan. Hasil penelitian isolat A/F dengan waktu inkubasi 6 hari diperoleh hasil: Protein (1,206-0,191), Amilum (3,651-1,255), pH (4,35-6,25), BOD (352,737-125,095), COD (474-150). Sedangkan isolat M diperoleh hasil: protein (1,189-0,402), amilum (3,488-1,934), pH (4,35-6,2), BOD (352,737-216,152), COD (474-186). Volume starter 5% dan waktu inkubasi 6 hari diperoleh hasil: amilum (3,46 mg/l-1,48 mg/l), protein (1,27 mg/l-0,19 mg/l), pH (4,35-6,5), BOD (318 mg/l-125 mg/l), COD (450 mg/l-180 mg/l). Kesimpulan hasil penelitian, yaitu: Perlakuan variasi volume starter 5% dan waktu inkubasi 6 hari, efisien mereduksi amilum, protein, menaikkan pH, menurunkan BOD dan COD. Hasil penelitian digunakan sebagai bahan penyusun bahan ajar mikrobiologi lingkungan di perguruan tinggi.Kata Kunci: Mikroorganisme Indigen, Biodegradasi, Limbah Cair Tahu, Bahan Ajar

Abstract

Pembelajaran mikrobiologi perlu lebih ditingkatkan harapannya mahasiswa dapat membentuk kepribadian mandiri, kreatif, dan objektif yang memiliki karakter (softskill) dalam penampilan, sikap, dan tingkat laku. Hasil observasi dilokasi penelitian diperoleh data sebagai berikut nilai rata-rata  hasil belajar mikrobiologi yang diperoleh dari mahasiswa angkatan 2012 sebesar 48 dan data nilai rata-rata metakognisi yang diperoleh sebesar 46. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah design dengan factor 4x2. Teknik analisis data hasil penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis kovarian (Anacova). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai terkoreksi dari yang paling rendah  adalah control dengan pendekatan konvensional sebesar 63.102 kemudian disusul TPS sebesar  68.923, selanjutnya Reciprocal Teaching sebesar 71.587 dan TPS+RT sebesar 81.644.  Uji homogenitas varian antar kelompok data tidak berbeda atau homogen. Rata-rata nilai kemampuan metakognisi terkoreksi pada masing-masing model dari yang paling rendah  adalah control dengan pendekatan konvensional sebesar 53.546 kemudian disusul TPS sebesar 64.001, selanjutnya Reciprocal Teaching sebesar  71.479 dan TPS+RT sebesar 84.351.  Rata-rata terkoreksi dari 4 model diatas yang menunjukkan signifikan yaitu: integrasi TPS+RT berbeda nyata RT, berbeda nyata terhadap TPS dan berbeda nyata terhadap konvensional (control). Namun untuk model TPS dan RT tidak  berbeda nyata.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the student’s motivation and learning outcomes through the application of guided inquiry learning models combined with mind mapping. This type of research is a Classroom Action Research that conducted in two cycles, each cycle consist of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects were firsth grade students of Junior High School YPK inJava. The data analysis in this studyusing descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that the application of guided inquiry learning model combined with mind mapping can improve the student’s motivation and learning outcomes. That was showed by the increasing in the first cycle of classical learning completeness of 11.1% and an average value of 63.18 increase in cycle II 76.20% for mastery learning and average value of student learning at 80. In addition to improved learning outcomes as well increased motivation to learn as well as increased activity of the students. The conclusion is the application of guided inquirycombined with mind mapping can increase student’ motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Mrs. Artiyam, Mrs. Suparmi, and Srikandi Women's Cooperative are partners involved in Community Partnership Program activities living in Purwoasri Village, Singosari Sub-district, Malang Regency. Mrs. Artiyam and Mrs. Suparmi are small-scale household entrepreneurs/crackers. Mrs. Artiyam and Mrs. Suparmi and Srikandi Women's Cooperative sell samiler crackers produced by Mrs. Artiyam and Mrs. Suparmi. Women's Cooperative Srikandi sell crude samiler crackers and there is no packing, so far only limited to crackle bags so it is less attractive, besides there is no online marketing because they do not have the skills to utilize IT. The solution to this problem is the training of packaging design to create an attractive packaging design and increase the selling value; training Use of IT for online marketing. With the presence of training and assistance, partner skills on the packaging of products and marketing increase and increase turnover.

Abstract

Good student learning outcomes, one of which is determined by student motivation is in terms of fostering passion, pleasure and enthusiasm. one of them is the selection of learning models that are in accordance with the characteristics of students and subject matter. TTW is a learning model that facilitates verbal training orally and writes the language smoothly. The learning model encourages students to think, speak, and then write a particular topic. aims to find out whether there is influence of Think Talk Write (TTW) assisted learning media images on cognitive learning outcomes and student motivation on respiratory system material class VIII SMP Negeri 5 Kodi Academic Year 2017/2018. This type of research is quasi-experimental using the pretest postest desing research design. Population in even semester. This research sample consists of 2 classes, namely class VIII A as many as 30 students as an experimental class and class VIIIB as many as 30 students as a control class. Data analysis techniques use normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing using the Anacova test at a significant level of 5%. Based on the results of the study showed that the average learning outcomes of students who obtained learning with Think Talk Write-assisted learning models of media images obtained an average of 80.86 while the average learning outcomes of students who did not use media-based Think Talk Write learning models were obtained flat 73.96. The conclusion of the study is that there is an influence of students' understanding that is taught by using the media-assisted Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model with learning without using a model (0,000 <0,05). This learning model is proven that it can improve results student understanding.

Abstract

One effort to improve college student metacognition through the development model of learning by constructivism approach the model of learning Reciprocal Teaching Pair Share (rtPS). RtPS learning model adopted from a blend of learning model Think Pair Share and Reciprocal teaching. The parameters for success by improving metacognition. The purpose of this research is to develop a learning model rtPS to improve student metacognition in microbiology course at the Teachers' Training College Budi Utomo. The research model of development used in this research is the development model 4D of Thiagarajan (1974). The 4D model has four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Large-scale field trials using quasi-experimental. Testing the validity of data analysis techniques using Pearson correlation method according bivarian. Assessment of the effectiveness of product development conducted field trials involving three classes for large-scale testing. Testing differences in acquisition value aspects of metacognition capability in Teachers' Training College Budi Utomo Malang analyzed using General Linear Model (GLM) - Multivariate.The results showed that the development model of rtPS eligible for use in the learning activities. In large-scale trial can be concluded that the model rtPS ABILITY effect on students' metacognition. Besides the development of models rtPS effective in improving metacognitive abilities of students in the course of microbiology at the Teachers' Training College Budi Utomo Malang

Abstract

The aim of this training was to provide students with knowledge in hydroponic plant cultivation. The background to this training was students' lack of knowledge in hydroponic plant cultivation and agricultural land was low. The participants involved in this training were grade 11 students of SMA Negeri 2 Negeri Katon, Pejambon Village, Negeri Katon District, South Lampung Regency, Lampung. The training implementation method included three stages, namely the socialization and counselling stage, the activity implementation stage and the reflection stage with training activity steps starting from socialization to students, making media charts from plastic bottles and cups, sowing plant seeds, continued with the implementation of hydroponic plant cultivation. The reflection stage was carried out after the implementation process by looking at the shortcomings and obstacles faced by students so that it can be carried out continuously and developed. This training is expected to be developed by students and teachers in order maintain the school environment, systems for utilizing school grounds and the surrounding environment, as well as increasing the creativity of students at grade XI in cultivating plants, especially vegetables, to meet daily nutritional needs.

Abstract

Digital literacy is an essential competency needed in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, driven by rapid technological advancements. This study aims to analyze the level of digital literacy of prospective teacher students in facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, focusing on students’ demographics, namely age, gender and length of study. Survey method was administered in this study, involving 120 prospective teacher students from Universitas Insan Budi Utomo as the respondents. The data were collected through a questionnaire of 1-5 Likert scale, which included questions assessing students' digital literacy levels. The findings of this study portrayed data on students' digital literacy levels according to demographics (gender, age, and length of study). In general, the digital literacy level of Insan Budi Utomo University students is known to be in the “fairly good” category with an average score of 3.14 for the knowledge aspect and 3.20 for the usage aspect. The results of this study are recommended as a reference for designing learning experiences that empower digital literacy, supporting students in becoming more digitally proficient.

Abstract

Classroom action research is conducted to determine the application of blended learning in Nutrition Science at IKIP Budi Utomo and increase student motivation through blended learning. The research method uses Classroom Action Research for two cycles. Learning motivation is measured using a learning motivation questionnaire at the end of each cycle and the application of blended learning is described based on the lesson plan implementation sheet and the learning observation sheet. The results of this study indicate that IKIP Budi Utomo’s student motivation has increased by 25%. In addition the implementation of blended learning has a positive impact on student skills using technology.
