Abstract

Indonesia terikat untuk melaksanakan kewajiban menjaga luas hutannya sebagai konsekuensi telah meratifikasi beberapa konvensi tentang perubahan iklim. Disisi lain maraknya kebakaran hutan, akan melemahkan posisi Indonesia dalam pergaulan dunia secara ekonomi dan sosial budaya. Pada bulan September 2019 kebakaran hutan serentak terjadi di beberapa wilayah di Indonesia. Total luas hutan yang terbakar kurang lebih 322 ribu hektare (Sumber: KLHK). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin menggali informasi kearifan lokal masyarakat Suku Baduy Dalam, dengan menggunakan metode observasi. Sumber hidup utama warga suku baduy dalam adalah memanfaatkan areal hutan untuk bertani dan berkebun. Mereka memiliki tradisi yang arif dan bijaksana, memiliki nilai-nilai budaya yang menjadi pedoman dalam mereka berinteraksi dengan hutan termasuk dalam memanfaatkannya. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa konsep kehutanan yang berkelanjutan sudah mereka laksanakan dalam kehidupan kesehariannya, tidak mengeksploitasi hutan karena mereka memanfaatkan sesuai kebutuhan hidupnya. Sebagai saran (rekomendasi) dari penelitian ini dalam rangka mencapai pembangunan kehutanan yang berkelanjutan dan partisipasi Indonesia dalam mengatasi climate change maka regulasi tingkat daerah dan nasional harusnya berbasis pada nilai-nilai kearifan lokal masyarakat.

Abstract

Politic is an inseparable part of human life. Politic is like a double-sided coin; it can be directed positively, meaning it is used to improve the welfare of society in accordance with its essence, or it can become a platform for conflict for power, awakening animalistic instincts through various cunning and dirty means to occupy certain positions. In its implementation, criticism of political life, especially the improper implementation of power, is always present. Such criticism is carried out in various ways. The method of literary writers is one such method. Writers convey criticism of bad power through the use of metaphors. Metaphorical instruments are diverse. One such method is using the name of an animal, the wild boar. Rahardi, a writer, demonstrates this in his book entitled "The Journey of Celeng To Heaven." In this book, Rahardi criticizes how those in power defend their interests using the diverse characters of regional wild boars. The metaphor of the wild boar is rich in meaning and contains a fundamental moral message. It addresses issues of justice, responsibility, concern, rationality, identity, and originality.

Abstract

Education is a path of humanization and hominization. Through education the subject develops multidimension of human being in order to be more human. The development of multidimensional humanity is existentially taking place through personal encounters between educators and students. But Covid 19 has changed all that. The essence of education based on personal and direct relationships between educators and students is considered threating, because it can become a new cluster in the spread of Covid 19. Therefore, the form of teaching that is considered appropriate is online-based learning. This learning model does not prioritize direct relationships, but rather relationships mediated by technology. This form of relationship certainly has two sides. On the one hand, the use of digital technology helps reduce the anxiety of parents, while helping the government overcome the spread of virtues. But on the other hand, it is also necessary to look at the fundamental problems that are present behind the use of digital technology. The fundamental problem concerns several things: first, the elimination of educational values as a form of co-living characterized by interpersonal relationships. Second, the problem of justice, be it commutative justice and legal justice that supposes the availability of technology equally and adequately as a means of use, but in reality, is not. The third, the formation of digitally characterized human being, that are heteronomy, passive attitudes, and absolute dependence.
