Abstract

The successful of tourism industry affects positively to the future growth of world tourism market. It is viewed as the source of promising economic benefit to the host country. Therefore tourism development is acknowledged as a mean to spur countries economic, due to the ability of the sector to raise job creation, standard of living and upgrade the infrastructure. This study aims to describe the progress of the Langkawi Tourism Blueprint 2011-2015 implementation and the collaboration among agencies in order to achieve the main objectives of the blueprint that is to enlist Langkawi at the top ten tourism island and eco-tourism in the world. The study applied case study method, where data was collected through interview, archives record and official reports. The findings of the study revealed that the implementation of the blueprint’s initiatives was at 73 percent by November 2012. This initiative proved the increment of tourist arrival into Langkawi which totaled sum of 3 million tourists. Hence, Delivery Management Office (DMO) of Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) plays critical role to monitor and control the implementation of the blueprint. It is expected that by 2015, Langkawi becomes one of the greatest destination Island and eco-tourism in the world as stated in the Langkawi Tourism Blueprint.

Abstract

This article aims to overview the opportunity to deliver a brand-new offering from tourism destination that is tourism circularity. Whereby, destination management organization might set a purposeful goal of making destination leaner toward generating circular value creation from each industrial players and stakeholders. Besides, the circularity value of tourism may also contribute to reducing waste and lasting the use of resources within tourism and hospitality industry.  Literature review was used as a method by collecting articles relating to tourism and circular economy and value creation to enable to develop a solid understanding on its relationship. This article is to contribute to the extension of discourses and implementation of circular economy value creation for tourism destination in Indonesia. An adopted model of stakeholder value creation and tourism circular economy were developed in a way to produce a brand-new offering.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how to analyze the ratio of Liquidity to financial performance in PT. Medco Energi International Tbk. This research uses liquidity ratio parameters. Measurement in terms of liquidity to performance ratio of MedcoEnergi shows that MedcoEnergi Liquidity Ratio capability using carrent ratio, Quick Ratio and Cash Ratio during the two research periods in 2018 and 2019 MedcoEnergi liquidity capability is better than its two competitors Bumi Resources and Elnusa. The advice in this study, should the existing performance be maintained and further improved so that the mission to develop potential energy sources into a profitable investment portfolio continues.Keywords: Financial Performance, Liquidity RatioAbstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana analisis rasio Likuiditas terhadap kinerja keuangan pada  PT.Medco Energi International Tbk. Penelitian ini menggunakan parameter rasio likuiditas. Pengukuran dari segi rasio likuiditas terhadap kinerja MedcoEnergi menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan Rasio Likuiditas MedcoEnergi dengan menggunakan carrent ratio,  Quick Ratio dan Cash Ratio selama dua periode penelitian tahun 2018 dan 2019 kemampuan likuiditas MedcoEnergi lebih baik dari dua kompetitornya Bumi Resources dan Elnusa. Saran dalam penelitian ini, sebaiknya kinerja yang telah ada dipertahankan dan lebih ditingkatkan  sehingga misi untuk mengembangkan sumber-sumber energi potensial menjadi portofolio investasi yang menguntungkan terus berlanjut. Kata Kunci : Kinerja Keuangan, Rasio Likuiditas

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the work environment, competence and compensation jointly and partially on job satisfaction at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Environment Unsyiah. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Environment, Unsyiah. The population in this study were employees in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences with 72 respondents.This research was conducted using the census method in which the entire population was used as the object of research. The data obtained were then processed using the SPSS 20 analysis tool. This analysis includes the validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, t test and F test and coefficient of determination (R2). Based on the results show that the work environment, competence and compensation have an effect on job satisfaction. The results of data analysis obtained an R square value of 0.619, which means that the job satisfaction variable can be explained by the work environment, competence and compensation of 61.9%, while 38.1.0% of the effect is explained by other variables. For hypothesis testing (t count> t table), the t test results in this study amounted to (3.554> 1.666) with a significant 0.001 for work environment variables, (3.702> 1.666) and 0.000 significant for competency variables and (2.024> 1.666) and a significance of 0.002 for the compensation variable, the results state that the work environment, competence and compensation have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Whereas for testing the hypothesis together (F count> F table), the results of the F test in this study are (36,884> 3,12) for work environment variables, competence and compensation with a significant 0,000, these results explain that the work environment, competence and compensation has a significant effect on job satisfaction in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Unsyiah.
