Abstract

The essence of development is the process of cotinuous change to gain a better life. In this context, the development of indonesia must give the base of attention and consideration. When the goal of development is to gain a better world, the process of education may be regarded as the main medium and the basic tool. The informal education include the family education is one of education alternative held by men to catch their ideality.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the role of counseling guidance teachers in improving student discipline in Maumere 1 High School. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. This research was conducted at Maumere 1 Public High School. Data obtained through interviews, observations, and documents, then systematically described to produce a conclusion in the form of the role of counseling guidance teacher in improving student discipline by the mandate of the Ministry of Education and Culture No. 111 of 2014. The results showed that counseling guidance teachers played a role in disciplining in SMA Negeri 1 Maumere by giving outreach to parents/guardians of students, giving examples of discipline, recording the implementation of student discipline in the consultation book. parents play a role in supporting the disciplinary program by encouraging students and advising them if they violate the rules of conduct at SMA Negeri 1 Maumere. Factors inhibiting the implementation of discipline: Lack of parental motivation towards students in obeying discipline, Differences in students' maturity in responsibilities in school, especially in school discipline, Lack of teacher motivation towards students, especially in implementing school order. Supporting factors include The existence of the school code of conduct for students, a socialization of the code of conduct to parents or guardians of students.Keywords: Counseling Guidance, Student Discipline, Teacher Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru bimbingan konseling dalam meningkatkan disiplin siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Maumere. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Maumere. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara,observasi dan dokumen, kemudian diuraikan secara sistematis untuk menghasilkan suatu kesimpulan berupa peran guru bimbingan konseling dalam meningkatkan disiplin siswa sesuai dengan amanat permendikbud No 111 tahun 2014. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru bimbingan konseling berperan dalam penegakan kedisiplinan di SMA Negeri 1 Maumere dengan memberikan sosialisasi kepada orang tua / wali murid, memberikan contoh kedisiplinan, mencatat pelaksanaan kedisiplinan siswa dalam buku konsultasi. orang tua berperan mendukung program kedisiplinan dengan memberikan dorongan kepada siswa dan menasehati apabila melanggar tata tertib di SMA Negeri 1 Maumere. Faktor penghambat pelaksanaan kedisiplinan: Kurangnya motivasi orang tua terhadap siswa dalam mentaati tata tertib, Perbedaan kematangan siswa dalam tanggung jawab di sekolah terutama dalam tata tertib sekolah, Kurangnya motivasi guru terhadap siswa terutama dalam pelaksanaan tata tertib sekolah. Faktor pendukung diantaranya: adanya tata tertib sekolah bagi siswa, adanya sosialisasi tata tertib kepada orang tua wali murid.Kata Kunci: Bimbingan Konseling, Disiplin Siswa, Guru

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the strengthening of character education through religious activities in Muhammadiyah Maumere High School. This research is descriptive qualitative research that aims to determine the implementation of strengthening of character education through religious activities in schools. Data sources of this study were obtained from primary and secondary data sources. Primary data sources were obtained from informants namely schools, deputy heads of students and religious teachers/supervisors of activities. Secondary data sources were obtained from document data in the form of school profiles, which included facilities and infrastructure, education personnel, and school condition data. The techniques used include interviews, observation and document study. Based on the results of the study showed that the implementation of reinforcement through religious activities in Muhammadiyah Maumere High School was carried out routinely with material that was scheduled after the teaching and learning activities and was followed by all students. Barriers faced are lack of participation and discipline of teachers and students and parents who do not provide support. The impact resulting from this activity is a kinship and closeness relationship between teachers and students, as well as the development of several characters other than religion.Keywords: Strengthening character education, Character, Religious activities Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan keagamaan di Sekolah Menengah Atas Muhammadiyah Maumere. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan keagamaan di sekolah. Sumber data penelitian ini diperoleh dari sumber data primer dan sekunder. Sumber data primer diperoleh dari informan yaitu sekolah, wakil kepala kesiswaan dan guru agama/pembina kegiatan. Sumber data sekunder diperoleh dari data-data dokumen berupa profil sekolah, yang meliputi sarana dan prasarana, tenaga kependidikan, dan data keadaan sekolah. Teknik yang digunakan meliputi wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen. Teknik Analisis menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk mendapatkan keabsahan sebuah data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan penguatan melalui kegiatan agama di SMA Muhammadiyah Maumere dilakukan dengan secara rutin dengan materi yang terjadwal setelah kegiatan belajar mengajar dan diikuti semua siswa. Hambatan yang dihadapi yakni kurangnya partisipasi dan kedisiplinan guru dan siswa serta orang tua yang kurang memberi dukungan. Dampak yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan ini yakni terjadi hubungan kekerabatan dan kedekatan antara guru dan siswa, serta berkembangnya beberapa karakter selain religius.Kata kunci: Penguatan pendidikan karakter, Karakter, Kegiatan keagamaan

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to (1) knowing the formation of honorary primary school teachers in Southwest Sumba District; (2) knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors of the formation of honorary primary school teachers in Southwest Sumba district. The design of this research is to use a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews with the Head of the education office, Superintendent of primary schools, Principals and regional honorary teachers to find a picture of the performance and training techniques of regional honorary teachers and documentation techniques to strengthen the research results presented in the form of photographs. The results showed that 1) Regional Honorary Teacher's performance was classified as good and the training technique was still not effective. 2) Factors that support the improvement of the performance and guidance of regional honorary teachers in the Southwest Sumba District are from the school supervisor, the principal of the primary school, to participate in the coaching program that is held. Availability of transportation budget. The obstacle that arises is the lack of understanding of interest, there are still regional honorary teachers who copy-paste learning tools, motivation, and attitudes of regional honorary teachers about the importance of coaching which is still low as well as the techniques of guiding regional honorary teachers that have not been effective.Keywords: Coaching, Performance, Honorary Teacher Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk (1) mengetahui pembinaan guru honorer sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Sumba Barat Daya; (2) mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat pembinaan guru honorer sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Sumba Barat Daya. Desain penelitian ini yaitu mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara bersama Kepala dinas pendidikan, Pengawas sekolah dasar, Kepala sekolah dan guru honorer daerah untuk mengetahui gambaran kinerja dan teknik pembinaan guru honorer daerah dan teknik dokumentasi untuk memperkuat hasil penelitian yang dipaparkan dalam bentuk foto. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan1) Kinerja Guru Honorer Daerah tergolong baik dan teknik pembinaan yang masih belum efektif. 2) Faktor-faktor yang mendukung peningkatan kinerja dan pembinaan guru honorer daerah di kabupaten sumba barat daya adalah dari pengawas sekolah, Kepala sekolah dasar, untuk mengikuti program pembinaan yang diadakan. Tersedianya anggaran transportasi. Kendala yang muncul adalah kurangnya pemahaman minat, masih adanya guru honorer daerah yang mengkopi paste perangkat pembelajaran, motivasi dan sikap guru honorer daerah tentang pentingnya pembinaan yang masih rendah serta teknik pembinaan guru honorer daerah yang belum efektif.Kata kunci: Pembinaan, Kinerja, Guru honorer

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe: 1) Implementation of 12 years of compulsory education in Nunukan District, 2) obstacles faced and efforts made on the implementation of the compulsory 12-year study. The study was conducted in Nunukan District. Data collection techniques are interview, observation, and documentation. Analytical techniques used are data reduction, data exposure, and conclusions. To check the validity of data using technique triangulation and source. Research result; 1) Implementation of the 12 years compulsory education in Nunukan District proved to be done without the charge for the SPP at the level of elementary School, Junior School, high school / vocational school. APM fluctuates, the rate of continuing school reaches 92% upward, the passing rate reaches 99% and the dropout rate reaches 0.36%. 2) 12-year fair implementation constraints in Nunukan District are (a) individual mindset: (b) economic condition (c) lack of parental attention; (d) lack of facilities and infrastructure; (e) geographical location as transmigration area; (f) school distance; (g) lack of equity and teacher training; (h) early marriage. 3) Efforts made on the fair implementation of 12 years: (a) The government conducts persuasive socialization to the community for going to school; (b) School dropouts are advised to take non-formal education; (c) The government seeks to make equal distribution of teachers throughout the Nunukan Regency; (d) The procurement of facilities and infrastructure in the 3T area.Keywords: Implementation of policy, Compulsory Education, 12 years Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan: 1) Implementasi wajib belajar 12 tahun di Kabupaten Nunukan, 2) kendala yang dihadapi dan upaya yang dilakukan pada implementasi wajib belajar 12 tahun. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, paparan data dan kesimpulan. Untuk mengecek keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian; 1) Implementasi wajib belajar 12 tahun di Kabupaten Nunukan terbukti terlaksana tanpa punggutan untuk SPP pada jenjang SD, SMP, SMA/SMK. APM mengalami fluktuatif, angka melanjutkan sekolah mencapai 92% ke atas, angka kelulusan mencapai 99% dan angka putus sekolah mencapai 0,36%. 2) Kendala implementasi wajar 12 tahun di Kabupaten Nunukan yaitu (a) mindset individu: (b) keadaan ekonomi (c) kurangnya perhatian orangtua; (d) kekurangan sarana dan prasarana; (e) letak geografis sebagai daerah transmigrasi; (f) jarak sekolah; (g) kurangnya pemerataan dan pelatihan guru; (h) nikah muda. 3) Upaya yang dilakukan pada implementasi wajar 12 tahun: (a) Pemerintah melakukan sosialisasi persuasif kepada masyarakat agar mau bersekolah; (b) Masyarakat yang putus sekolah disarankan untuk mengambil pendidikan non formal; (c) Pemerintah berupaya melakukan pemerataan guru ke seluruh wilayah Kabupaten Nunukan; (d) Pengadaan sarana dan prasarana di wilayah 3T.Kata Kunci: Implementasi kebijakan, Wajib belajar, 12 Tahun

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of the tryout policy on student achievement in chemistry class XII Science at SMAN 1 Talibura. The data collection method uses a documentation study with a try out as an independent variable and national exam as the dependent variable. The population is Talibura State High School, students. The research sample included all students of class XII Science. Test the validity of the instrument using the Spearman-Brown formula and reliability using the Alpha formula from Cronbach, and fulfilling valid and reliable requirements. Hypothesis testing uses the formula of normality, linearity, simple linear regression, F test, and t-test. The results obtained a probability value of 0.016 ≤ 0.05 and the results of the analysis where the significance is constant 0,000 <0.05 and the significance of Try out are 0.033 <0.05 so it can be concluded that the tryout variable is significantly correlated with the national examination variable. Testing the effect of Try Out on chemistry learning outcomes obtained a constant T count of 6.351 and Try out 2.167 is greater than the T-table (1.9853) then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. While the value of F-count = 5.892 <F-table, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The ability of the Try Out variable in explaining the variance of the National Examination variable is 4.7% (R-Square) so it can be concluded that the influence of the Try Out variable on the National Examination variable is very small.Keywords: Try Out, Student Achievement, Subject of  Chemistry Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kebijakan try out terhadap prestasi siswa dalam mata pelajaran kimia kelas XII IPA di SMAN 1 Talibura. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumentasi dengan try out sebagai variabel independen dan ujian nasional sebagai variabel dependen. Populasi adalah siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Talibura. Sampel penelitian meliputi semua siswa kelas XII IPA. Uji instrument validitas menggunakan rumus Spearman Brown dan reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha dari Cronbach, dan memenuhi syarat valid dan reliabel. Uji hipotesis menggunakan rumus normalitas, linieritas, regresi linier sederhana, uji F, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai probabilitas sebesar 0,016 ≤ 0,05 dan pada hasil analisis dimana signifikansi constant 0,000 < 0,05 dan signifikansi Try out 0,033 < 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel try out berkorelasi signifikan terhadap variabel ujian nasional. Pengujian pengaruh Try Out terhadap hasil belajar kimia diperoleh T hitung constant 6,351 dan Try out 2,167 lebih besar dari T - table (1,9853) maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Sedangkan nilai F-hitung = 5,892 < F-tabel, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kemampuan variabel Try Out dalam menjelaskan varians dari variabel Ujian Nasional adalah sebesar 4,7 % (R-Square) sehingga dapat disimpulkan pengaruh variabel Try Out terhadap variabel Ujian Nasional sangat kecil.Kata kunci: Try Out, Prestasi siswa, Mata Pelajaran Kimia

Abstract

Abstract: One of the competency standards that must be possessed by a teacher is professional competency. In reality, there are still teachers who lack professional competency. The purpose of this study is to determine 1) the factors that influence the professional competence of teachers in Muhammadiyah Waipare Middle School. 2) Efforts are made in improving the professional competence of teachers in Muhammadiyah Waipare Middle School. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Informants in the study were teachers, principals, vice-principals in student fields, school treasurers. Data collection uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that 1) factors influencing teacher professional competence include difficulties in delivering teaching material, internal factors, availability of facilities and infrastructure, teachers who are often not on time, lack of teacher welfare. 2) Efforts made to improve the professional competence of teachers in Muhammadiyah Waipare Junior High School are to increase the number of reference books, provide opportunities for teachers to continue to higher levels of education, Add infrastructure, provide opportunities for teachers to take part in MGMP workshop activities, and increase teacher welfare.Keywords: Professional Competency, Teachers, Secondary Education Abstrak: Standar kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang guru salah satunya adalah kompetensi profesional. Pada kenyataannya masih ada guru yang kurang menunjukkan kompetensi profesional. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui 1) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kompetensi profesional guru di SMP Muhammadiyah Waipare. 2) Upaya yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru di SMP Muhammadiyah Waipare. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Informan pada penelitian adalah Guru, Kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, bendahara sekolah. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) faktor yang mempengaruhi kompetensi profesional guru meliputi kesulitan dalam menyampaikan materi ajar, faktor internal, ketersedian sarana dan prasarana, guru yang sering tidak tepat waktu, kurangnya kesejahteraan guru. 2) Upaya yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru di SMP Muhammadiyah Waipare yaitu dengan menambah jumlah buku referensi, memberikan kesempatan kepada guru untuk melanjutkan ke jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi, Penambahan sarana prasarana, memberikan kesempatan kepada guru untuk mengikuti kegiatan workshop MGMP, dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan guru.Kata kunci: Komepetensi Profesional, Guru, Pendidikan Menengah

Abstract

Abstract: Parenting practices by parents and teachers in schools play an important role in the development of a child. This study aims to describe 1) the application of parenting to students in elementary school Muhammadiyah 4 Malang, 2) The formation of students' character developed in elementary school Muhammadiyah 4 Malang. In this study, researchers used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research data were obtained from primary sources, namely parents, student representatives, curriculum representatives, class teachers, and students. While secondary data sources are obtained from documents obtained from the homeroom teacher. The results of this study stated that 1) the application of the school program on parenting was done through the eighteen twenty programs and the parenting program which was conducted once a semester as well as attendance in the implementation of these activities not all parents were present. 2) the formation of most of the character of students through habituation that is carried out in daily activities. The involvement of educators and education personnel in efforts to inculcate character or to strengthen character is continuously pursued to realize the independent character and care for the environment of students.Keywords: School Programs, Parenting, Character, Students Abstrak: Pola asuh yang dilakukan oleh orang tua dan guru di sekolah berperan penting terhadap perkembangan seorang anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan1) penerapan pola asuh orang tua terhadap peserta didik di SD Muhammadiyah 4 Kota Malang, 2) Pembentukan karakter peserta didik yang dikembangkan di SD Muhammadiyah 4 Kota Malang. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh dari sumber-sumber primer yaitu orang tua, waka kesiswaan, waka kurikulum, guru kelas dan peserta didik. Sedangkan sumber data skunder diperoleh dari dokumen yang diperoleh dari wali kelas. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa 1) penerapan program sekolah tentang pola asuh dilakukan melalui melalui program delapan belas dua puluh dan program parenting yang dilakukan setiap satu semester sekali juga kehadiran dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut tidak semua orangtua hadir.2) pembentukan karakter peserta didik sebagaian besar melalui pembiasaan-pembiasaan yang dilaksanakan dalam aktifitas sehari-hari.Keterlibatan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan dalam upaya penanaman budi pekerti atau penguatan karakter terus menerus diupayakan dalam rangka mewujudkan karakter mandiri dan peduli lingkungan hidup peserta didik.Kata kunci: Program Sekolah, Pola Asuh, Karakter, Peserta Didik

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the implementation of Thematic Qur'anic learning in SD Aisyiyah Malang, (2) the character of students who emerged through this program. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were the vice-principal and the Tahfiz teacher. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of thematic tahfizh Qur'an learning at SD Aisyiyah Malang consisted of four stages, namely the verse selection stage, the film screening stage, the memorization stage, and the evaluation stage. Through the thematic tahfizh Qur'an program implemented in SD Aisyiyah Malang, four characters appear in children, namely the value of religious characters, including the value of pious faith and tolerance; the value of character integrity, shown in honesty, example, politeness, love for truth; independent character values, including hard work, discipline, courage, and learners; and the character values of cooperation, including cooperation, solidarity, and mutual assistance.Keywords: Character Building, Learning, Thematic Qur'anic TahfizhAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahi (1) implementasi pembelajaran tahfizh Qur?an Tematik di SD Aisyiyah Kota Malang, (2) karakter siswa yang muncul melalui program ini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah wakil kepala sekolah dan guru tahfizh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran tahfizh Qur?an tematik di SD Aisyiyah Kota Malang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu tahap pemilihan ayat, tahap pemutaran film, tahap menghafal, dan tahap evaluasi. Melalui program tahfizh Qur?an tematik yang dilaksanakan di SD Aisyiyah Kota Malang, tampak empat karakter yang muncul pada anak, yaitu nilai karakter religius, termasuk di dalamnya nilai beriman bertaqwa, dan toleransi; nilai karakter integritas, tampak pada kejujuran, keteladanan, kesantunan, cinta pada kebenaran; nilai karakter mandiri, termasuk pada kerja keras, disiplin, berani, dan pembelajar; dan nilai karakter gotong royong, termasuk di dalamnya kerja sama, solidaritas, dan saling menolong.Kata Kunci: Pembentukan Karakter, Pembelajaran, Tahfizh Qur?an

Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to (1) analyze the implementation of character building that based on parenting and to find out (2) supporting factors and inhibiting factors in gurus PAUD XIII in Klojen district. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. Data is collected from observation, interview, and documentation. The subject of this research are headmasters, teachers, and parents, whereas the analysis technique included data collection, data reduction, display, and conclusion. Checking data‟s validity uses thorough observation and triangulation. The result of this research showed that (1) parents' support and involvement are prominent in school socialization meetings, involved in the parent group, religious events, sharing with a psychologist, the peak of theme, and social activity. (2) Supporting factors are in the form of adequate educational and economical background, character control book, school culture, time for sharing while inhibiting factors are parents' works, parent perspective, and lack of a good example from parents at home.Keywords: Character building, Parents involvement, Young children Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menganalisis pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter berbasis parenting serta (2) mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya di gugus PAUD XIII di kecamatan Klojen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, adapun subyek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru dan wali murid, sedangkan teknik analisis data meliputi data collection, data reduction, display, conclusion, untuk pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan cara pengamatan yang tekun dan triangulasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) dukungan dan keterlibatan orangtua sangat aktif pada pertemuan sosialisasi visi, misi, tujuan sekolah, aktif dalam kegiatan Paguyupan Orangtua Siswa (POS), pengajian, kegiatan sharing dengan psikolog, puncak tema, kegiatan sosial. (2) Faktor pendukung berupa latar belakang pendidikan dan strata ekonomi yang memadai, adanya buku kontrol karakter, budaya sekolah, tersedianya waktu khusus untuk sharing, sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah kesibukan orangtua, persepsi orangtua, perlakuan yang berbeda, dan kurangnya role model yang baik dari orangtua dirumah.Kata kunci: Pendidikan karakter, Keterlibatan orangtua, Anak usia dini
