Abstract

Inventory on Plantation Monitoring Assessment (PMA) Eucalyptus pellita at the aged of 30 months, measuring total height (h) and diameter at breast height (dbh). Height measurements were done using the Vertex. Measuring the total height of a tree whose crown has started to close (overlap)  requires more time to find the highest point of the tree, it is necessary to overcome it with a tool that is a height estimator model through the relationship between height and diameter at breast height (h-dbh). The study was conducted using two compartments of Eucalyptus pellita stands at the aged of 30 months. Sampling conducted by Systematic Sampling with Random Start. The data measured were total height (h) and diameter at breast height (dbh). Simple linear regression modeling h-dbh compiled for each compartment then carried out a goodness of fit test and validation using the Bias, SA and SR values, after that the regression line similarity was tested. The results showed that the two compartments have regression equations with the same slope and intercept, so that the two compartments can be threated as one dataset and the total height in the two compartments studied can be estimated using the equation h = 6,968 + 0,844 dbh.

Abstract

The use of unmanned aircraft (UAV) or drones, apart from being used for mapping, can be a solution for quickly obtaining information and carrying out forest inventories with very detailed resolution results. Plantation Monitoring Assessment (PMA) aged 6 months is an initial inventory activity, later the data from PMA 6 will be the basic data for subsequent PMA. So, with drones, it is hoped that satisfactory results will be obtained. Apart from that, drones can be used to count the number of live and dead trees as well as empty spots. This research aims to compare the results of tree calculations directly in the field with the results of drone photos. This research was carried out on 6 month old Eucalyptus pellita plants in compartment A034, Baserah Sector, PT. RAPP. Data collection was carried out using systematic random sampling with a sampling intensity of 1%. The data taken is in the form of data on the number of live and dead/empty plants in the field and photographed with a drone. The test was carried out to test the differences in the number of dead/empty plants directly in the field and calculations using drone photos, namely the t test. The results showed that there was no difference between the number of live and dead/empty plants in the field and from drone photos.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze changes in vegetation density in Gunungkidul Regency using the NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) method based on Landsat 8 satellite imagery. The research focuses on evaluating the condition of teak forest vegetation density in Gunungkidul Regency in 2013 and 2023, with the goal of identifying land cover changes and providing an overview of the forest ecosystem conditions in the area. The methods used in this research include processing satellite imagery with spatial analysis techniques using GIS (Geographic Information System) software. NDVI data was analyzed to measure vegetation density for both time periods, classifying land cover into several categories: non-vegetated land, very low vegetation, low vegetation, and moderate vegetation. The analysis results were compared to identify trends in changes over the ten-year period. The findings indicate that there has been a change in vegetation density in Gunungkidul Regency, with a decrease in the area of low vegetation from 126,747.87 hectares in 2013 to 118,972.88 hectares in 2023 (6,13%). An increase in non-vegetated land was also recorded, rising from 513.47 hectares to 1,107.76 hectares during the same period (113,24%). Although there were some improvements in vegetation density, the increase in non-vegetated land indicates challenges in land management in the region.

newline"> Dalam penelitian berjudul “Aplikasi Data Mining untuk Analisis Membangun StrategiMarketing dengan Metode Klasifikasi Menggunakan Teorema Bayes (Studi Kasus: STMIK BinaPatria Magelang)” ini dikembangkan sebuah aplikasi data mining yang bertujuan untukmemudahkan tim marketing STMIK Bina Patria Magelang dalam menganalisa media promosi yangdipergunakan dan hasil analisa tersebut dapat dipergunakan untuk perencanaan marketing ke depan.Pengembangan aplikasi dilakukan dengan pendekatan berorientasi objek menggunakan UML(Unified Modelling Language), sedangkan proses data mining menggunakan CRISP-DM (CrossIndustry Standard Process for Data Mining).Berdasarkan hasil pengujian terhadap fungsional sistem menggunakan metode blackbox¸ diperoleh hasil bahwa semua fungsionalitas sistem sudah berjalan sebagaimana yangdiharapkan. Pada pengujian terhadap hasil analisa data mining, dilakukan pengujian menggunakandata frekuensi media promosi “Acara di Sekolah” pada kabupaten Magelang. Hasil pengujianmenggunakan aplikasi dan perhitungan secara manual menunjukkan hasil yang sama.Dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi data mining yang dikembangkan sudah memenuhiseluruh fungsionalitas yang diharapkan dan hasil analisa yang diperoleh adalah valid. Hasil analisaberupa prediksi probabilitas frekuensi media promosi untuk kabupaten/ kecamatan tertentu sertagrafik frekuensi media promosi akan sangat membantu dalam menyusun strategi marketing, agarlebih terfokus dan tepat sasaran, yang pada akhirnya dapat mengurangi biaya marketing.

Abstract

Tunas Harapan II Early Childhood School information system as a means of web new student admission. The purpose of this study is to design and build a Tunas Harapan II Early Childhood School information system as a means of web new student admission so that it can determine the impact obtained by Tunas Harapan II Early Childhood School after applying school new student admission information system. The research methodology used is the development method with Waterfall model. The stages of Waterfall method are Communication, Planning, Modeling, Construction, Deployment. The design in this study using DFD. DFD (Data Flow Diagram) is a graphic technique that describes the design of information that is applied when data moves from input to output, the depiction of which is arranged in a collection of interconnectied components. The results of this study are successful in creating a web-based promotional information system with a web-based registration feature at the Tunas Harapan II Early Childhood School to facilitate work in the sales process.Keywords : New Student Admission Information System, DFD, Waterfall, Web, Tunas Harapan II Early Childhood School.

Abstract

Plantation quality assessment is very important for evaluating the success of seedlings in growth, especially in industrial plantations. This study aims to determine the most effective and accurate plot sampling method for assessing the survival and stocking of Acacia crassicarpa. Two types of sampling plots were compared, namely line plots and circular plots, by recording the number of alive and dead plants, as well as measuring the time required for each plot. Statistical analysis was conducted to present statistical descriptions (mean, standard deviation, standard error, and sampling error). Additionally, an independent samples t-test was performed between plot types, preceded by a Levene's test for homogeneity of variances. The results showed that plant density assessments differed between line plots and circular plots. For survival, there was no significant difference between the two plot types. In terms of time efficiency, line plots were superior because the sample area consisted of straight lines, while circular plots took longer to implement, especially during moving from one to another plot. Therefore, the choice of method depends on the assessment objective. For assessing the success of the plants under study, the strip plot is more stable for assessing plant density

Abstract

Village forests aim to optimise community involvement in sustainable forest management, therefore it is necessary to know how communities involved in their management perceive the environmental, social and economic aspects of village forests. This study aims to identify community perceptions of village forest management from ecological, economic and socio-cultural perspectives. The interviews were conducted using a questionnaire. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, with all 32 members of the Social Forestry Business Group (KUPS) becoming respondents. Perceptions were measured using a Likert scale. The results showed that the majority of the community (81%) had a high perception of village forest management in environmental aspects as well as in socio-cultural aspects, where respondents (84%) believed that village forests play a role in maintaining the ecosystem and increasing social solidarity. However, in the economic aspect, 91% of the respondents still have a medium level of perception due to limitations in exploiting the economic potential of the village forest, such as lack of access to markets and limited capital. Therefore, training and socialisation in the use of non-timber forest products and ecotourism are still needed. Keywords: community perception, peat swamp forest, village forest  AbstrakHutan desa bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan hutan berkelanjutan, oleh karena itu penting untuk mengetahui bagaimana masyarakat yang terlibat dalam pengelolaannya memandang aspek lingkungan, sosial, dan ekonomi dari hutan desa. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi persepsi masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan hutan desa dari perspektif ekologi, ekonomi, dan sosio-budaya. Wawancara dilakukan dengan panduan kuisener. Sampel dipilih secara purposive sampling yaitu semua anggota Kelompok Usaha Hutan Sosial (KUPS) sejumlah  32 orang menjadi responden. Persepsi diukur menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas masyarakat (81%) memiliki persepsi tinggi terhadap pengelolaan hutan desa dalam aspek lingkungan maupun aspek sosial-budaya, di mana responden (84%) meyakini bahwa hutan desa berperan dalam menjaga ekosistem dan meningkatkan solidaritas sosial. Namun, dalam aspek ekonomi, 91% responden masih memiliki tingkat persepsi sedang akibat keterbatasan dalam mengeksploitasi potensi ekonomi hutan desa, seperti kurangnya akses ke pasar dan modal yang terbatas. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan dan sosialisasi dalam penggunaan produk hutan non-kayu dan ekowisata masih diperlukan. Kata kunci: hutan desa, hutan rawa gambut, persepsi masyarakat
