Abstract

Burnout is a critical issue affecting nurses' performance and service quality, especially under high work pressure in hospital settings. This study aimed to analyze the influence of spirituality on nurse burnout, focusing on the mediating roles of self-leadership and emotional intelligence. The research applied a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest non-random control group. A total of 159 nurses were selected via total sampling from RSUD Noongan and RSU GMIM Bethesda. Measurement tools included burnout (MBI), spirituality, self-leadership, and emotional intelligence questionnaires. Data were analyzed using SPSS and Smart-PLS. The results showed a significant negative effect of spirituality on burnout, with self-leadership and emotional intelligence acting as reinforcing mediators. This study concludes that strengthening nurses' spirituality can serve as an internal competence to protect against burnout.

Abstract

Mineral water delivery drivers face various occupational risks, including fatigue, accidents, and musculoskeletal disorders due to long working hours and repetitive tasks. However, awareness of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in this informal sector remains low. This community service program aimed to improve drivers’ knowledge and awareness of OSH through interactive education, demonstrations, and ergonomic simulations. The activity involved 33 drivers and included a pre-test and post-test to assess knowledge improvement in four areas: risk awareness, PPE usage, ergonomic practices, and general OSH concepts. Results showed a significant increase in average scores—from 53.2 (pre-test) to 79.2 (post-test), with a gain of 26 points. The program proved effective in enhancing OSH understanding among participants. By using participatory and practical approaches, the initiative successfully raised awareness of workplace safety and encouraged safer work behavior. This effort highlights the importance of extending OSH education to informal workers to support a safer and healthier work environment

Abstract

Children's cognitive, emotional, social, motoric, and language development needs to be supported with healthy growth, especially during the preschool age period. To maintain good health from a preschool age, a person must improve their level of health by controlling factors that can pose a negative risk to their own well-being. Teachers play a crucial role in the school structure as agents of change. A change agent is an individual who possesses the skills and abilities to stimulate, facilitate, and coordinate change. Anthropometric measurements are a method of assessing nutritional status that involves evaluating the dimensions and composition of the human body, including body weight and height. Monitoring the growth of early childhood through routine anthropometric measurements every month and determining nutritional status using graphs or growth curves established by the Government is crucial because it is one of the efforts to prevent stunting. This mentoring activity consists of three stages: the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The target audience of this activity is teachers in the Early Childhood Education (PAUD) environment. The activity was conducted at Alwildan Kindergarten, Manado City, and RA Darul Faizin, Manado City, with a total of 10 participants. Pretest questionnaire results showed that only 30% of participants demonstrated good knowledge, with a score of 80 or higher. In contrast, the posttest questionnaire results indicated that all participants demonstrated good knowledge about nutrition and techniques for measuring weight and height, with a score of 80 or higher.
