Abstract

The communication channel is a media for sustainable agricultural development and the use of innovation and technology for improving people's welfare without ignoring the preservation of natural and environmental resources. The government encourages the application of geomembrane technological innovations in salt production with the aim of increasing the productivity and quality of the salt produced. The purpose of this reseach is to describe the communication channels and perceptions of people's salt farmers on geomembrane technology innovation, and analyze the correlation of communication channels with perceptions of salt pond technology innovation. The unit of analysis is community salt farmers in the Gersik Putih village and Sentol Daya village, Sumenep Regency, with 68 respondents. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation method. The result of the research showed that the bottom of the salt salt farmer uses all communication channels except internet hybrid media. The lowest perception is the level of complexity and the highest perception is the level of trialability in geomembrane technology. Interpersonal communication channel related to perceptions of innovation on the characteristics of the level of relative advantage, level of compatibility, and level of observability. While group communication netagative relates to the level of trialability.

Abstract

Kecamatan Batang-Batang menjadi sentra produksi gula siwalan, karena memiliki area tanam pohon siwalan terluas di Kabupaten Sumenep. Potensi ini menjadikan gula siwalan sebagai produk khas daerah yang diakui oleh pemerintah. Namun, tingginya potensi siwalan di daerah ini belum dapat dimanfaatkan secara maksimal oleh para petani. maka, Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan, kemampuan dan kompetensi pengolahan diverifikasi produk dari gula siwalan menjadi gula siwalan cair. kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan dua metode pendekatan, yaitu sosialisasi disertai penyuluhan dan pelatihan pengolahan dan pembuatan gula siwalan cair. Hasil dari kegiatan ini dari kegiatan ini adalah petani produsen memiliki wawasan tentang diverifikasi produk siwalan cair, mengetahui standar produksi gula siwalan cair dan mampu memproduksi secara mandiri gula siwalan cair. Kegiatan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwakegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat telah berhasil dilaksanakan

Abstract

Sumenep is one of the districts on Madura Island which is classified as a region producing traditional herbal medicine, one of which is Sokla powder. Sokla powder is a traditional herbal medicine made from several types of herbal plants such as ginger, turmeric, etc. Making sokla powder itself is a production activity using certain TOGA carried out by the Kasih Ibu Farming Women's Group (KWT) in Lengkong Bragung Village, Guluk-Guluk, Sumenep. The production activity referred to in this case is an activity to increase the added value of an item by involving several production factors together. Meanwhile, product packaging not only functions as a container for wrapping food or beverage products to protect them from dirt, dust, air, impact and sunlight, but also as a promotional tool to attract buyers' interest. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the production and packaging process on purchasing interest in sokla powder products. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, while the data processed is using the SPSS version 26 program. Data was obtained from distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents. The results obtained from this research show that the production and packaging process variables do not have a partial and significant effect on purchase interest, with the results of the t test where the calculated t of the two variables is X1=1.830 and X2=-1.412 < t table 2, 011 obtained from a significance level of 5% and df=50-2- 1. Meanwhile, simultaneously the calculated F value obtained is 2.036 < f table of 3.20, which means that the production and packaging processes have no simultaneous and significant influence on purchasing interest.

Abstract

Pengembangan gula siwalan cair telah dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkanperekonimian masyarakat Sumenep. Gula siwalan cair memiliki indeks glikemikyang lebih rendah jika dibandingkan dengan gula pasir sehingga memiliki potensiyang baik untuk dikonsumsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisiskandungan kimia (karbohidrat, protein, lemak, kadar air, kadar abu), kadar sukrosa,pH dan viskositas pada produk gula siwalan cair dan untuk mengetahui hasil inovasidalam penambahan kopi pada gula siwalan cair berbahan dasar gula siwalan cetak.Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kadar viskositas sebesar 12 N/m2, pH sebesar6 dan derajat Brix sebesar 77. Sedangkan kadar air sebesar 4, kadar abu sebesar 2,4%,kadar protein sebesar 2%, kadar karbohidrat sebesar 15,8% dan kadar lemak sebesar13,8%. Pelatihan pembuatan
