Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of the cooperative learning models on the learning achievement in mathematics viewed from the students’ logical mathematical intelligence. The learning models compared were the cooperative learning models of Structured Numbered Heads (SNH), Think Talk Write (TTW), and Learning Together (LT) with scientific approach. This research used quasi experimental research method with the factorial design of 3x3. The population of the research was all of the students in grade VII of Junior High School in Sukoharjo Regency. The data was analyzed using two-ways analysis of variance with unbalanced cell. The conclusions of the research were as follows. (1) SNH and TTW with scientific approach had the same learning achievement. SNH and TTW with scientific approach had better learning achievement than LT with scientific approach. (2) Students with high logical mathematical intelligence had better learning achievement than the students with middle and low logical mathematical intelligence, also students who had middle logical mathematical intelligence had better learning achievement than students who had low logical mathematical intelligence. (3) In SNH with scientific approach, the students who had high logical mathematical intelligence had learning achievement as good as students with middle and low logical mathematical intelligence. In TTW and LT with scientific approach, the students who had high logical mathematical intelligence had learning achievement as good as students with middle logical mathematical intelligence, and the students who had high and middle logical mathematical intelligence had better learning achievement than the students with low logical mathematical intelligence. (4) For all level of students’ logical mathematical intelligence, the students who were given by SNH, TTW, and LT with scientific approach had the same learning achievement.Keywords: Structured Numbered Heads, Think Talk Write, Learning Together, Scientific Approach, Logical Mathematical Intelligence

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out the teachers’perception in using electronic student worksheets Liveworksheets.comas English teaching material at SMAN 7 Padang.The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative research. A total of 3 English teachers at SMAN 7 Padang were chosen as the participants. The purposive sampling was used to determine the participants. The data was collected through an interview. The interview guideline consisted of 13 questions about teachers’perception in using electronic student worksheets Liveworksheets.comas English teaching material. The questions were based on the four aspects of perception by Horton; attractiveness, perceived of effectiveness, relevance, and perceived motivation. The result of the data analysis showed that the teachers have a good perception in using electronic student worksheets Liveworksheets.comas English teaching material at SMAN 7 Padang even though teachers encounter multiple issues while working with electronic student worksheets Liveworksheets.com as teaching material, such as conversations about unsuitable topics, inability to download materials, and all guidelines are in English. Abstract

The empowerment of small and household industries is a government policy based on the people's economy. This is a form of trust in the independence of the community in carrying out its economic activities. In fact, small and household industries are industries that are resilient to uncertain economic conditions like today. The oyster mushroom media baglog production business group is among the oyster mushroom baglog craftsmen in Trayu Village, Banyudono District, Boyolali Regency. This business group makes oyster mushroom baglogs manually by hand directly, patiently and diligently one by one baglogs are produced, Over time, the baglog production business group was unable to serve the demand for baglogs for planting mushrooms, so they started to open up insights to cooperate with any party who could provide solutions in making baglog filling machines electrically. So that the work in making baglogs can increase and can meet the demand of consumers and customers who make oyster mushrooms and can compete with other home industries, by applying a more practical machine and a larger capacity so that it is reliable, in increasing the production of oyster mushroom media baglogs, economically able to increase the income of its workers. The implementation of this oyster mushroom growing media baglog making machine engineering program specifically improves skills that support productivity and can increase the income of the oyster mushroom media baglog production business group and it is hoped that this program on a national scale will increase regional per capita income.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy needs to be developed since elementary school. This is important to ensure that the next generation is ready to solve problems in all aspects of life. However, in reality, students' literacy skills are not as expected. Based on the results of interviews with class II teachers of SDN Karangrejo 02 Semarang, many students were found to have difficulties in the learning process, especially mathematics in the material of fractions in the form of story problems. The purpose of this study was to analyze the ability of numeracy literacy in solving story problems through the PACAPI media of class II SDN Karanggrejo 02 Semarang. The method used in this study used a qualitative descriptive method. In its implementation, it used observation, test, and interview guidelines. The research sample was all 17 class II students. The results of this study indicate that teachers are advised to train students more often by giving questions that lead to numeracy literacy skills and increasing the level of math problems that will be given to students. The instillation of the concept of fractional arithmetic operations also needs to be emphasized again to students so that students can solve math problems correctly.

Abstract

Pemakain kendaraan yang cukup lama dimana jam operasional yang banyak atau penggunaan yang melebihi beban mesin akan menyebabkan tingkat keausan motor yang tidak bisa dihindari. Beberapa pengerjaan servis besar seperti tindakan overhaul yang mana perlu dilakukan oversize dari piston dan liner serta perbaikan cylinder head dan crankshaft. Bahkan di dunia otomotif untuk tujuan tertentu dilakukan pengerjaan bore up atau stroke untuk memaksimalkan unjuk kerja mesin yang jauh lebih tinggi. Perubahan pengerjaan permesinan tersebut berakibat berubahnya nilai perbandingan kompresi pada mesin tersebut sehingga perlu beberapa penyesuain lagi diantaranya yaitu saat membuka dan menutupnya katup. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh memajukan dan memundur gigi timing satu mata rantai dari posisi standar terhadap nilai tekanan kompresi. Kondisi ini disebabkan karena berubahnya waktu pembukaan dan penutupan katup baik katup isap maupun katup buang yang berdampak pada efisiensi pembakaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pergeseran roda gigi timing baik maju maupun mundur akan menyebabkan penurunan tekanan kompresi. Memajukan dan memundur gigi timing diperlukan untuk memberikan pertimbangan ketika perbaikan atau memodifikasi mesin yang berdampak berubahnya nilai perbandingan kompresinya. Hal ini biasanya dilakukan untuk mencoba mendapatkan karakter mesin tertentu. Mesin yang digunakan dalam pengujian ini adalah mesin 4 tak 100 cc SOHC dengan sistem bahan bakar konvensional yaitu dengan karborator. Dengan jumlah gigi pada cam shaft sebanyak 28 gigi, maka dengan menggeser 1 mata gigi akan merubah 12.850 maju atau mundur saat pembukaan katupnya. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil pengujian adalah saat dimajukan ada penurunan tekanan kompresi 15 % dan saat dimajukan ada penurunan tekanan kompresi 25 %.

Abstract

Perempuan kepala keluarga memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga keberlangsungan ekonomi rumah tangga, terutama pada keluarga yatim yang rentan terhadap masalah sosial dan ekonomi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan dan hasil program pemberdayaan ekonomi melalui usaha ternak ayam kampung petelur bagi perempuan kepala keluarga di Kabupaten Karanganyar sebagai upaya peningkatan kemandirian ekonomi keluarga yatim. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan pemberdayaan partisipatif yang dilaksanakan melalui empat tahapan, yaitu persiapan dan seleksi peserta, pelatihan serta pendampingan teknis, implementasi usaha dan monitoring, serta evaluasi keberlanjutan program. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan pencatatan produksi usaha peserta selama program berlangsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam manajemen pemeliharaan ayam kampung petelur, pemasaran, dan pencatatan keuangan usaha. Berdasarkan evaluasi kinerja usaha, pada bulan keempat produksi telur peserta mencapai rata-rata 12–15 butir per hari, sehingga mampu memberikan tambahan pendapatan antara Rp 250.000,- hingga Rp 400.000,- per bulan. Selain dampak ekonomi, program ini juga menimbulkan perubahan sosial positif berupa peningkatan kepercayaan diri, kemandirian, serta tumbuhnya semangat kewirausahaan pada keluarga penerima manfaat. Kesimpulannya, program pemberdayaan ini telah mampu mencapai tujuan peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi dan psikososial keluarga yatim melalui usaha produktif berbasis rumah tangga.
