Abstract

The presence of groundwater in volcanic rock formations is generally found in aquifer lithology in the form of loose deposits. The groundwater potential can be obtained by using the resistivity data approach. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of aquifer parameters in volcanic formations on the middle slope of Mount Merapi in Prambanan District, Klaten Regency. The characteristics and thickness of the aquifer lithology can be determined by using the resistivity data approach which is correlated with rock material. Potential groundwater aquifer parameters were obtained from pump test measurements to determine the value of transmitivity (T) and value of permeability (K). The resistivity value is measured with a value range of 3 –75 ohm m which is interpreted by the aquifer lithology of loose material in the form of sand with fine to coarse grain sizes. The average thickness of the aquifer lithology is 80 m with free aquifer properties. Potential aquifer parameters in the form of transmitivity (T) of 330.6 m2/day and the value of permeability  (K) of 8.03 m/day with an average aquifer thickness of 10 m. This value belongs to the category of high aquifer productivity potential. Keywords: Aquifers, Discharge, Groundwater, Permeability, Resistivity, Transmissivity   Abstrak Keterdapatan air tanah pada formasi vulkanik secara umum terdapat di litologi akuifer berupa endapan lepas-lepas. Potensi air tanah tersebut dapat diperoleh dengan pendekatan data resistivitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahu potensi parameter akuifer pada formasi vulkanik di lereng tengah Gunung Merapi di Kecamatan Prambanan, Kabupaten Klaten. Untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan tebal litologi akuifer menggunakan pendekatan data resistivitas yang dikorelasikan dengan material batuan. Potensi parameter akuifer air tanah diperoleh dari pengukuran uji pompa untuk mengetahui Nilai transmisivitas/keterusan (T) dan nilai permeabilitas/kelulusan (K). Nilai resistivitas terukur dengan rentang nilai 35–75 ohm m yang diinterpretasikan dengan litologi akuifer material lepas-lepas berupa pasir dengan ukuran butir halus hingga kasar. Ketebalan rata-rata litologi akuifer sebesar 80 m dengan sifat akuifer bebas. Potensi parameter akuifer berupa nilai transmisivitas/keterusan (T) sebesar 330,6 m2/hari dan nilai permeabilitas/kelulusan (K) sebesar 8,03 m/hari dengan ketebalan akuifer rata-rata 10 m. Nilai tersebut termasuk pada katagori potensi produktivitas akuifer tinggi. Kata kunci: Air tanah, Akuifer, Permeabilitas, Resistivitas, Transmisivitas

Abstract

Irrigation has an important role and is one of the keys to success in increasing rice production in paddy fields. Trimulyo Village is one of the areas in Jetis District, Bantul Regency has the majority of people as farmers. There is no information about groundwater quality as agricultural feasibility in the area is the background of this research. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of groundwater quality for agricultural irrigation using the Sodium Adsorption Ratio (SAR) method in Trimulyo Village, Jetis District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The method used in this study was the testing of 2 groundwater samples in the laboratory and field observation of geology and geomorphology conditions. The parameters used are chemical parameters which include Sodium or Sodium (Na), Calcium (Ca), and Magnesium (Mg). Based on the results of laboratory tests and data analysis, that groundwater sample 1 had a SAR value of 0,63 then groundwater sample 2 had 0,75. Both groundwater samples have a water classification of Excellent or Very Good for agricultural irrigation.

Abstract

Sifat batuan dapat mempengaruhi keterdapatan air tanah berdasarkan kedalaman air tanah. Semakin dalam air tanah maka semakin sulit untuk memanfaatkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Daerah penelitian berada di Kapanewon Nanggulan di Kabupaten Kulon Progo yang merupakan Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Progo dengan mayoritas bentuklahan berupa dataran aluvial yang dikontrol oleh variasi kondisi geologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui zonasi kedalaman muka air tanah dan mengetahui arah aliran air tanah. Metode penelitan yang digunakan berupa metode survei lapangan dengan objek utama berupa sumur. Data primer yang digunakan meliputi koordinat sumur dan kedalaman muka air tanah. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode Systematic Sampling. Analisis data meliputi analisis secara kuantitatif, analisis secara deskriptif dan analisis secara spasial. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa zonasi kedalaman muka air tanah yang dangkal (<7 m) mendominasi daerah penelitian dari utara hingga selatan. Bagian timur daerah penelitian tergolong memiliki zonasi kedalaman muka air tanah sedang (7 – 15 m), sedangkan zonasi kedalaman muka air tanah yang dalam (>15 m) berada di luar daerah analisis. Tinggi Muka Air tanah (TMA) di daerah penelitian berkisar antara 40 m dpal hingga 150 m dpal. Arah aliran air tanah mengalir dari arah barat ke timur dan tenggara.

Abstract

Keterdapatan sumber daya airtanah di kepulauan sangat tergantung oleh faktor meteorologi (curah hujan) sebagai sumber air dan faktor geologi yaitu formasi penyusun batuan tempat cadangan airtanah tersimpan (akuifer). Pulau Bakalan berada di Kepulauan Banggai, yang secara kondisi geologi regional berada di Formasi Batugamping koral kuarter (Ql). Karakteristik airtanah di daerah batugamping sangat dinamis, terbatas, dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan dari aliran celah dan pelarutan. Sehingga dapat dikatagorikan daerah airtanah langka, dan bersifat setempat atau lokal. Keterbatasan airtanah juga dipengaruhi oleh aktifitas pengunaannya. Semakin besar penggunaan dan semakin intensif pemakaian airtanah, maka dapat mengakibatkan penurunan kuantitas dan penurunan kualitas airtanah. Penurunan kualitas airtanah dapat menimbulkan permasalahan kesehatan. Penurunan kualitas air dapat disebabkan tercemarnya sistem akuifer oleh sumber pencemar melalui pori-pori batuan pada formasi batugamping yang mudah terlarut. Untuk mengetahui distribusi kerentanan airtanah, maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menentukan sebaran zona kerentanan airtanah pada batugamping terumbu. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut dilakukan analisis spasial multi-kriteria dengan pendekatan DRASTIC. Pendekatan DRASTIC dapat memberikan infromasi zona kerentanan berdasarkan sifat hidrogeologi pada batugamping. Analisis pemberian indekss pembobotan parameter dengan nilai tinggi, mengambarkan informasi faktor yang dominan atau yang paling mempengaruhi zona kerentanan airtanah. Hasil skor perhitungan setiap parameter diperoleh dari perkalian linier. Indekss kerentanan air tersebut dikelaskan ke dalam lima tingkat kerentanan dengan pendekatan equal interval. Hasil analisis menunjukkan kerentanan sangat rendah seluas 0,003%, kerentanan rendah seluas 18,79%, kerentanan sedang seluas 18,48%, kerentanan tinggi seluas 13,53% dan kerentanan sangat tinggi seluas 49,16% dari luas pulau 40,7 km2.

Abstract

Jepitu Village is located in a karst hill area covering an area of ​​1,625.1960 km². Most of the population works as dryland farmers, gardeners, livestock breeders, and fishermen. Despite having abundant natural resources, including agricultural and marine products, local small businesses (MSMEs) face challenges in marketing their products, most of which have limited reach. To overcome this, the community service team assists in using WhatsApp Business and Instagram Business as digital marketing platforms for MSMEs in Jepitu. This training aims to improve product marketing through digital content creation and social media strategies. WhatsApp and Instagram Business offer features that facilitate customer interaction, such as automatic replies and product catalogs. This mentoring program has five stages: socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, and sustainability. The results show a significant increase in participants' understanding and use of digital marketing media, expanding marketing reach and increasing sales. Abstract

Socio-political uncertainty, sluggish economic growth, and the looming threat of a potential "Megathrust" along the southern coast of Java have significantly impacted tourism flow, as observed in Yogyakarta, Garut, and Sukabumi. Amid these challenges, the Special Region of Yogyakarta is actively pursuing its Regional Medium-Term Development Plan through 2025, positioning the area as a new center for economic growth. This paper explores the efforts of Jepitu Village to optimize the potential of marine-based geo-products as a strategic response. Community empowerment initiatives, including mentoring, training, and the application of innovative technologies, have been implemented to enhance local capacity and improve the marketing of marine geoproducts. These efforts have increased motivation and enthusiasm among local MSME partners to produce seafood-based products, improved community understanding of digital marketing systems, and taken initial steps toward implementation. The developed products have undergone testing for nutritional content, presentation aesthetics, and cooking methods. Looking forward, it is expected that the local community will be better equipped to anticipate socio-political and economic disruptions, and to engage in self-mitigation efforts in response to the ever-present threat of a "Megathrust" event.
