Abstract

In the academic world, proper and efficient reference management is essential to ensure the quality and credibility of scientific writing. However, many lecturers and education practitioners, particularly early childhood education teachers, still encounter difficulties in managing references according to established academic standards such as APA and MLA citation styles. This challenge often hinders the process of academic writing and decreases the quality of scholarly outputs. To address this issue, a structured training program was conducted focusing on the use of Mendeley, a digital reference management tool designed to simplify citation and bibliography management automatically. The objective of this training was to enhance participants’ technical competence, digital literacy, and their ability to integrate Mendeley into the process of preparing scientific papers. The training activities were carried out using a series of steps, including needs assessment of participants, collaborative planning, hybrid training implementation (both online and offline), and continuous assistance through follow-up forums. Throughout the program, participants were guided step-by-step on how to install, use, and integrate Mendeley into word processing applications for academic writing. The results of the evaluation showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge and practical skills, with an N-Gain score of 0.70, which falls into the high effectiveness category. The training not only improved the quality of reference management in scientific papers but also promoted greater professionalism and academic accountability. Moreover, it supported the broader goal of integrating technology into educational development. Overall, this initiative is expected to encourage more systematic, efficient, and digitally literate practices in academic writing among educators, ultimately contributing to improved educational quality in higher education settings.

This paper analyzes several aspects (technical, marketing, economic, social, and financial) of canned smoked fish (Pangasius) as a micro-industry in South Sumatra Province, Indonesia. This article adopts mix-methods. A quantitative method is used to explain technical, marketing, economic, and financial aspects, while the social aspect is explained using a qualitative method. The author collects the Pangasius species sample from nine districts in South Sumatra Province for the technical aspect. This sample transformed into canned smoked fish using several steps: preparation, making and cooking, filling process, exhausting, sealing sterilization, and cooling process. The author also collects secondary data and interviews several key informants to analyze the non-technical aspect of the canned smoked fish industry. A canned smoked fish (Pangasius) has excellent potential to develop as a micro-enterprise in South Sumatra, Indonesia. In the long-term, it could be an instrument for the local government to increase citizens' well-being based on local resources and penetrate the ASEAN free trade area. In a short time, it could be an instrument for the local government to manage the economic effect of COVID-19 in South Sumatera, Indonesia. This study could be a baseline for the government to create a policy for developing the smoked fish industry. Abstract

Motor development in early childhood is a crucial foundation for executive functions and psychosocial health. However, the current sedentary lifestyle and gadget dependency hinder the optimization of this physical potential. This community service aims to enhance children's self-confidence and physical agility through the "Active Movement Exploration: Fun Agility Game" program. The activity was conducted at TK Negeri PAUD Tamalate, Makassar, involving 93 children in the initial observation. The method employed was Guided Modeling-Practice, which includes agility circuit preparation, demonstration, and guided exploration. The game instruments included Zig-Zag Safari, Stop-Go Traffic, Balance River Stones, Ball-to-Target Trail, and Choose-Your-Path. The results showed a significant improvement in Fundamental Motor Skills (FMS), particularly in agility, balance, and manipulative coordination. Additionally, there was progress in psychological aspects, specifically in self-regulation, autonomy, and self-efficacy. In conclusion, the integration of structured yet enjoyable agility games is effective in building a strong physical and character foundation in early childhood.
