Abstract

Fungsi Komunikasi Edukasi Manajemen Pariwisata Regional-Internasional Dengan Learning by Doing bagi Anggota Bhakti Wanita Ikopin (BWI) One of the instrumental communication functions is to educate. It means that the messages as well as the method conveyed are to make the receivers - the members of Bhakti Wanita Ikopin (BWI) - understand and practise them at once. For this activity, Communication of Regional – International Tourism Management becomes the main message. Because the purposes of the activity were to broaden knowledges and to enrich experiences of tourist destinations, accommodation, transportation system, communication system, culinary, and cultures, etc; they chose Singapore and Malaysia as their tourist destinations. In this case the writer determined to encourage the participants to have willing in managing the travelling activities independently without travel agent service. Using learning by doing or experiential learning method, the activity was initiated in two weeks by planning all elements, then conducting the travelling for a week, and last but not least evaluating the travelling program. During the whole activities, the participants were able to plan, and to implement all plannings pretty well not to mention having fun in every destination.

Abstract

An implemented program of Integrated Corporation of Agricultural Resources Empowerment (ICARE) of West Java was technical counselling of cooperative management for cooperatives boards in Garut Regency. It was a collaborated program with the institution of research and community service (LPPM) of Universitas Koperasi Indonesia (Ikopin University). For this program, the development of new cooperatives was focused on the deepening comprehension of cooperative characteristics of both organization and business. The trainer team designed three topics “why cooperative”, “managing cooperative business” and “assessing cooperative and action commitment”. The program was one day training and there were three trainers for three topics. The first topic ‘why cooperative” consisted of the cooperative identity explaining the definition, values, and principles of cooperative as well as the benefits of it. The topic was related to communication and coordination among cooperative boards and its members as the keys in achieving cooperative goals. The method used were icebreaking, lecturing, and discussion. The participants of the program were the boards of new cooperatives having agriculture and farming business. They had various background of experiences, education and ages. The participants’ feedback showed positive attitudes toward the programs, topics as well as the trainers indicated by the interactive process during the program and the conducive situation.

Abstract

The KSU Tandangsari Producer Cooperative is a cooperative whose members are dairy milk producers, which produce whole milk. To obtain a number of advantages and take advantage of market opportunities, it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive SWOT analysis with a Business Model Canvas approach. The purpose of this study is to conduct a SWOT analysis to determine both internal and external factors that can affect the dairy cow milk business, find out the position of cooperatives, formulate alternative strategies, set strategic priorities that can be applied and compile the development of a dairy cow milk business model. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with data collection techniques, namely interviews, observations and questionnaires. The results of this study are factors that affect the dairy business, including a high dairy cow population as well as the main force. The main drawback is the limitation of business capital at the breeder level. The main opportunity is a wide market opportunity and the main threat is the high price of additional feed. The position of the dairy cow milk business is in quadrant V which indicates the "Survive and Maintain" strategy. The main strategy that cooperatives can implement is the strategy of increasing farmer capital through programs from cooperatives and the government. In the preparation of the business model canvas, there is development in 5 blocks of the business model canvas, namely value propositions, customer relationships, key activities, key resources and revenue streams

Abstract

The Secretariat of Council is the institution supporting certain services for Regional People's Representative Council. Some of the main functions are finance management and secretariat administration. In empowering its employees, the secretariat of council designed the three-day provisioning program. It was aimed to facilitate the employees of the council in conducting their duties. Some topics in widening their insights were the correlation between recess and regional development; report of regional finance management as well. During conducting their jobs, they certainly communicate with both internal public and external one, in this case they were also provided with the knowledge of effective communication specifically public speaking. The participants following this program were 45 employees whose working periods were various. The presenter delivered the public speaking topics using some methods such as games, presentation, quiz and discussion. The participants gave positive feed back during whole phases of the public presentation session.

Abstract

Instruksi Presiden Indonesia No 9 Tahun 2025 Tentang Percepatan Pembentukan Koperasi Merah Putih Desa/Kelurahan di Indonesia bertujuan untuk mendorong kemandirian bangsa melalui swasembada pangan berkelanjutan dengan membentuk 80.000 Koperasi Merah Putih di seluruh desa dan kelurahan di Indonesia. Kota Bandung yang memiliki 30 kecamatan dan 151 kelurahan harus membentuk koperasi Kelurahan Merah Putih sesuai dengan Inpres tersebut.  Leading sector  dalam pembentukan KopKel Merah Putih ini adalah Dinas Koperasi Usaha Kecil dan Menengah Kota Bandung. Salah satu tahapan persiapan pembentukan koperasi dilakukan pembekalan kepada para tokoh masyarakat, pengurus organisasi kelurahan dan calon pengurus, anggota dan pengawas koperasi di setiap kelurahan.  Dengan jadwal yang ketat dari 19 – 21 Mei 2025,   Penulis ditugaskan untuk memberikan Pembekalan di Kecamatan Astana Anyar yang dilaksanakan di enam kantor kelurahan yaitu, Cibadak, Pelindunghewan, Karasak, Panjunan, Nyengseret, dan Astana Anyar. Acara Pembekalan dilanjutkan dengan pembentukan koperasi dan penandatanganan para pengurus dan pengawas yang terpilih untuk pengajuan Badan Hukum Koperasi.  Materi pembekalan diarahkan pada pemahaman dasar tentang koperasi yaitu tentang Jati Diri koperasi yang terdiri dari definisi koperasi, nilai koperasi dan prinsip koperasi.  Jati diri koperasi penting dipahami dan diimplementasikan karena pembentukan Koperasi Kelurahan Merah Putih dianggap sebagai bentuk gerakan top down yaitu dari pemerintah ke masyarakat.  Padahal sejatinya pembentukan koperasi adalah dari kesadaran masyarakat untuk membentuk badan usaha untuk pemberdayaan ekonomi mereka (bottom up).

Abstract

The producer cooperative supplying soybeans called Kopti Kota Bandung is a multipurpose cooperative. Its business units face some issues and one of is unoptimized marketing communication strategy causing member participation declining and its existence in wider community getting lesser. The purposes of the research were both to describe the implemented marketing communication and to design fit marketing communication strategies that can be applied in enhancing the presence of Kopti Kota Bandung. Using a case study approach, data obtained through observation, interviews, and literature study were analyzed descriptively. The results of this research depict the marketing communication processes that occur at Kopti both offline and online. Subsequently, the research outcomes take the form of a design for marketing communication strategies that can be implemented by Kopti in both online and offline contexts, utilizing social media as well as print and electronic media. These marketing communication strategies aim to enhance the presence of Kopti Kota Bandung and members can participate more actively, and the existence of Kopti Bandung is going to be more widely recognized.

Abstract

Koperasi Serba Usaha Niaga Mukti in Cianjur Regency is a multi-purpose cooperative or cooperative that runs three business units, one of which is the warehouse receipt system unit. This unit is the research object as there were the number of farmers unfortunately non- cooperative members use the benefits of warehouse receipt system services. The warehouse receipt system has the potential to increase the existence of cooperatives in increasing the quantity of members through counseling. The aim of this research is to describe the warehouse receipt system extension communication model as an effort to increase farmers to become members of cooperatives, managerial efforts carried out by cooperatives to increase interest among farmers to become members of cooperatives. This research uses approaches to management theory, cooperatives, communication, and extension communication models. The results of this research indicate that the Mukti Commercial Multi-Enterprise Cooperative in Cianjur Regency still needs an ideal extension model to increase interest among farmers in becoming members of the cooperative.
