Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam rangka memperoleh bukti empiris tentang pengaruh model pembelajaran Genius Learning dengan pendekatan Open Ended untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis pada siswa SMA. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA kelas X di salah satu Kota Bandung. Populasi tersebut diambil sampel sebanyak dua kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen. Untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis pada siswa digunakan instrument tes. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji perbedaan rata–rata dua kelompok berpasangan dan uji perbedaan rata-rata. Hasil penelitian terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis pada siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Genius Learning dengan pendekatan Open Ended.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of applying the MMP learning model to an increase in understanding of mathematical concepts in vocational students. This study uses a non-equivalent control group design with the nature of quantitative research. The instrument used in this study is a test of increasing understanding of mathematical concepts that were first tested for validity and reliability. Then the results of the research data are processed using Anova statistics. The results of this study indicate that: (1) an increase in the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students whose learning with the MMP model is better than students who learn with conventional models at a 5% significance level both in the high, medium, or low categories, (2) groups of students with the high category is better to increase the ability to understand the mathematical concepts both given the MMP learning model or conventional learning model, (3) there is no interaction between the learning model and the grouping of students in terms of increasing the ability to understand mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the main subjects taught at every level of education. Mathematical communication skills are needed by students in understanding mathematics. But students' mathematical communication skills were still low. This is because teachers rarely train students' communication skills during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in mathematical communication skills of high school students through the implementation of REACT learning strategies. The method of this research is quasi-experimental research. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that there was a better increase in students' mathematical communication skills both in writing and verbally which obtained REACT learning strategies than students who received conventional learning models. Thus REACT learning strategies can be used as an alternative for teachers in implementing their learning to improve students' mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Application of Team Games Tournament Cooperative Model Type to Increase Understanding of Mathematical Concepts in Fractional Calculating Operations of Class III Elementary Students". This study aims, whether the Cooperative Model Team Games Tournament model can improve the concept understanding in students who learn fraction counting operations in thrity grade and whether the ability to comprehend mathematical concepts in operating materials to calculate fractions of students studying with Team Games Tournament is better than students who study with conventional models. This study uses the theory of Shoimin (2014). The research method used in this study is the quantative approach. The population in this study were all third grade students of Lengkong Besar SDN 0. This study of Data were collected by tests and observation sheets. The results of this study showed that there was an increase in conceptual comprehension in students who studied fractional counting operations in class with the method TGT.

Abstract

This study is entitled '’Increasing Mathematical Creative Thinking Ability through the RME (Realistic Mathematics Education) Model in Class IV of Primary Schools”. This research aims to determine the application of the RME (Realistic Mathematics Education) model to improve the ability of mathematical creative thinking of fourth grade students and to find out the improvement of class IV mathematical creative thinking skills through the RME (Realistic Mathematics Education) Model. The theory used in this research is Shoimin is theory (2017). The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach. Participants in this study consisted of 2 classes namely the experimental class and the control class. In this study, data were collected using observation and test techniques. In this study us the RME (Realistic Mathematics Education) model, which shows that there is an increase in mathematical creative thinking skills in fourth grade students of Muhammadiyah 6 Elementary School, Bandung City. This can be seen from the results of the pretest and posttest calculations in the experimental class.
