Abstract

The important role of private universities is increasingly felt in the midst of the limited number of state universities. Private universities are proven to be able to accommodate 300% more students than state universities. Thus, so that human resources are qualified, the quality of private higher education institutions needs to have a serious concern from the leader. This research is a quantitative descriptive study that wants to capture the performance of private universities based on the quality and performance of lecturers, management performance and learning outcomes. The study was conducted at 4 (four) private universities in Bandung and Cimahi, West Java Province which had educational characteristics. The used data are obtained from documents and are strengthened by data from surveys and interviews for each variable of university performance. All data were quantified using a Likert scale and categorized into four qualifications namely very good, good, moderate, and low, and analyzed the correlation with student learning outcomes. The results of the study indicate that the performance components of private universities, in general, need to be improved because they are still in moderate qualifications. The management component has the highest score, followed by sequential components of lecturer quality and lecturer performance. In general,  student learning outcomes  are also in the moderate category. The three components analyzed have a very strong influence on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of preliminary observations of researchers in the field which show that students of Elementary School Teacher Education Study Programs who will carry out field teaching programs (PPL) in Karang Pawulang State Elementary School Bandung are still having difficulty in making good quality planning tools based on the applicable curriculum. This is evidenced by the results of researchers' interviews with two students who were carrying out PPL who said that they still had difficulty in compiling teaching tools such as the annual program (prota), semester program (promissory notes), syllabus, learning implementation plan (RPP) and so on in accordance with material obtained during lectures on teaching planning and based on the demands of the applicable curriculum. In the implementation of learning, prospective teacher students must have made the necessary learning tools but in their implementation there are still some inappropriate components such as planning tools used in schools. Therefore a research about the relationship between the ability to design teaching planning tools in this case in the form of a lesson plan (RPP) with the practice of teaching PPL students in carrying out learning in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative approach while this type of research is correlational. In this study, what was investigated was the relationship between the ability to make lesson plans (RPP) and teaching practices in the classroom

Abstract

This study is entitled to the efficiency of funding and its influence on the performance of Lecturers and Student Learning Outcomes. The focus of the study is on how the efficiency of funding affects the performance of Lecturers and Student Learning Outcomes. The research method used is quantitative, using statistical tests: Correlation Analysis, Regression, and Path Analysis. Both the lecturer's performance and student learning outcomes. This finding shows the importance of financing that is managed efficiently and protected from various types of waste, misuse, and violations of various stipulations. The results of this study are that the Efficiency of Financing significantly influences both the performance of lecturers and the results of student learning. This finding shows how important funding is managed efficiently and avoiding various types of waste, misuse, and violations of various stipulated provisions. Lecturer performance and student learning outcomes are strategic factors that can determine the level of institutional performance achievement of Private Universities that are studied clearly and reliably.

Abstract

Tolak ukur perkembangan karir seorang guru dapat dilihat dari pangkatnya yang naik secara berkala. Kenaikan pangkat tersebut harus memenuhi persyaratan angka kredit kumulatif minimal serta angka kredit per-jenjangnya untuk point pengembangan diri dan karya tulis ilmiah. Fenomenanya, tidak sedikit guru kesulitan naik pangkat karena belum terampil membuat karya tulis ilmiah. Menyikapi hal tersebut, Penulis sebagai Dosen Program Studi PGSD FKIP Universitas Langlangbuana dengan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tingginya mengambil peran untuk menjadi fasilitator agar guru SD dapat mengembangkan karir dengan baik. Peran tersebut diwujudkan dalam bentuk Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM). Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif dengan mitra yang dibagi dalam tiga kegiatan, yaitu: 1) Seminar tentang “Urgensi Karya Tulis Ilmiah dalam Pengembangan Karir Guru SD”; 2) Pelatihan PTK; dan 3) Pendampingan Publikasi Karya Ilmiah. Mitra berpartisipasi penuh sebagai penyelenggara kegiatan dengan memfasilitasi tempat dan peserta. Selanjutnya, capaian luaran kegiatan PkM ini adalah: contoh Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), rancangan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), rancangan Karya Tulis Ilmiah (KTI) peserta dan artikel ilmiah terkait kegiatan PkM yang dipublikasikan melalui jurnal atau prosiding ber ISSN.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Application of Team Games Tournament Cooperative Model Type to Increase Understanding of Mathematical Concepts in Fractional Calculating Operations of Class III Elementary Students". This study aims, whether the Cooperative Model Team Games Tournament model can improve the concept understanding in students who learn fraction counting operations in thrity grade and whether the ability to comprehend mathematical concepts in operating materials to calculate fractions of students studying with Team Games Tournament is better than students who study with conventional models. This study uses the theory of Shoimin (2014). The research method used in this study is the quantative approach. The population in this study were all third grade students of Lengkong Besar SDN 0. This study of Data were collected by tests and observation sheets. The results of this study showed that there was an increase in conceptual comprehension in students who studied fractional counting operations in class with the method TGT.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konsep matematis pada mata pelajaran matematika bangun datar. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui penerapan model Diskursus Multi Representasi (DMR) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dalam materi bangun datar di sekolah dasar, dengan rincian tujuan mengukur peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan menggunakan model Diskursus Multi Representasi (DMR, dan mengukur perbedaan peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis setelah menerapkan model Diskursus Multi Representasi (DMR. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kuasi eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Pamalayan. Sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan sampel jenuh yaitu seluruh kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Pamalayan, kelas IV-A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IV-B sebagai kelas kontrol dengan masing- masing kelas berjumlah 22 orang.Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas eksperimen dibanding dengan kelas kontrol, dan terdapat perbedaan peningkatan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dengan kategori sedang.

Abstract

Kesempatan memperoleh pengetahuan literasi harus merata kesemua lini tak terkecuali untuk sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB). Tujuan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan literasi numerik dan mendampingi guru-guru SLB BC Bina Kasih dalam  mengajar literasi numerasi kepada siswa. pengabdian ini telah dilaksanakan dengan dua tahap, pertama tahap pengenalan literasi numerasi, pada tahap ini disampaikan dengan tatap muka tranfer pengetahuan dan penguatan pemahaman konsep numerasi. Tahap kedua pendampingan dalam mengajar literasi numerasi, pada tahap ini guru didampingi dalam mengajar literasi numerasi kepada  siswa SLB. Hasil yang diperoleh pada pengabdian ini, guru SLB BC Bina Kasih menujukkan antusias yang besar dan menunjukkan bertambahnya pemahaman dalam literasi numerasi, serta mendapat pengetahuan baru dalam mengajarkan literasi numerasi untuk siswanya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya kebutuhan akan metode pengajaran yang inovatif dan efektif. Studi ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan AI dalam pendidikan SD. Metodologi penelitian ini yaitu Systematic Literature Review, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui kajian literatur review, dan wawancara di beberapa SD. Penelitian ini mempergunakan metode tinjauan literatur dengan pendekatan naratif, memanfaatkan berbagai sumber seperti jurnal ilmiah, dokumen resmi, dan buku. Data dikumpulkan melalui pencarian kata kunci spesifik di basis data akademik, kemudian disintesis secara deskriptif dan analitis. Hasilnya memperlihatkan jika penggunaan AI dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa. Pembahasan dalam studi ini menguraikan keuntungan dan tantangan penerapan AI dalam pendidikan dasar. Salah satu temuan utama adalah bahwa AI memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang dipersonalisasi dengan memberikan umpan balik yang disesuaikan dan materi pembelajaran adaptif berdasarkan kebutuhan siswa secara individu. Selain itu, AI membantu mengidentifikasi kesenjangan pembelajaran dan menawarkan perbaikan segera. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya infrastruktur dan pelatihan guru yang tepat untuk integrasi AI yang sukses. Kesimpulannya adalah bahwa AI mempunyai potensi yang signifikan dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di SD dengan membuat pembelajaran lebih interaktif dan mudah diakses. Penelitian di masa mendatang harus berfokus pada pengembangan model AI yang lebih canggih.
