Abstract

Technology-based simulation learning methods have great potential to support education for students in the health sector. One of the innovations that can be done is virtual reality. In using virtual reality, paying attention to the quality of virtual reality services to provide learning satisfaction and motivate students to be active in the learning process is essential. VNursLab designed VR as an additional learning media for Padjadjaran University nursing students. Therefore, this study aims to identify nursing students' satisfaction with using VR as a learning media simulator. The method used is pre-experimental quantitative research and a one-shot case study approach. The sampling used in the study was purposive. Eighty-six respondents completed the research by following the VR simulation for 20 minutes and continued filling out the PSSUQ (Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire) questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive analytics by finding the mean value of each aspect of the assessment obtained from the mean of each element of the respondent. The results show that the overall quality of VR VNursLab is good (2.2), with a mean value of system quality (2.3), mean InfoQual (2.21), and IntQual (2.28). Based on these results, VR VNursLab as a learning media with virtual simulation methods has a good quality of use assessment and provides satisfaction with nursing students' use.

Abstract

IIntroduction: VNursLab Plus Universitas Padjadjaran offers technology-based learning media, namely virtual reality (VR) to support the clinical skills of nursing students. Before mass marketing, VNursLab Plus products need to be researched in several segmentations. Marketing mix 4P (Product, Price, Place, and Promotion) is one of the marketing strategies carried out to influence the purchasing decision of a product. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between 4P (Product, Price, Place, and Promotion) on VR purchasing decisions in college students. Research methodology: correlational research with a cross sectional approach and the respondents of this study were 89 Universitas Padjadjaran Nursing students who had tried using VR. The instrument used is an adaptation of previous research instruments that the researcher modified. Result: The Chi-Square test obtained a p value <0.01 in each variable product, price, and place on purchasing decision decisions, while the promotion variable on purchasing decisions produced a p value = 0.29. Discussion: The test results state that there is a relationship that makes the 4P marketing mix strategy (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) on VR purchase decisions, so that it can be adapted by VNursLab Plus by considering products, prices, places, promotions as marketing strategies before being marketed to broad segments. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the 4Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) on VR purchase decisions in students as an additional learning method. So that VR can also be applied to streamline student learning.

Abstract

There is a need for learning media innovation for students with pandemic conditions. The e-module learning media is part of the VnursLab 3D Simulator, consisting of 22 E-Modules and 3 E-Modules tested for effectiveness on student knowledge, satisfaction, and learning motivation. In this learning, media has a relationship with students' academic self-efficacy to achieve goals and overcome obstacles during learning. Purpose: Identifying an overview of the use of e-module learning media for Nursing students' self-efficacy. Method: This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach using The College Academic Self Efficacy Scale (CASES) instrument, which has been carried out validation tests produced α>0.3 and a reliability of 0.931. This study used an e-module insertion catheter (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia). The population of this study is active undergraduate nursing students level III at Padjadjaran University with purposive sampling totalling 110 students. Results: The results showed that the use of e-module learning media was dominated by self-efficacy results with a high category rather than a moderate category in nursing students. Conclusion: This concludes that respondent characteristics positively affect nursing students' self-efficacy, resulting in satisfactory academic achievement.

Abstract

Introduction: E-modules are information technology-based modifications of conventional modules. Students learning satisfaction can be used to gauge learning success. Learning satisfaction is the value of comparing the level of reality with the level of expectation in learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the normal birth e-module in increasing nursing student learning satisfaction. Methods: Pre-experimental with a one-shot case study design with data from online survey results using the E-Module Satisfaction Questionnaire instrument. The population of this study was 244 active students of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran, who had completed the maternity course using the normal birth e-module. As many as 46 people were willing to be respondents and fill out the level of learning satisfaction questionnaire. The study samples were determined by G-Power and data analysis using the Pearson Correlation test and the R square test or the Coefficient of Determination. Results: Overall, the level of learning satisfaction of nursing students who use the normal birth e-module is very satisfactory/high, with an average of 4.51% in the range of 4.5 - 5.0. The percentage of the results of the assessment of all respondents was dissatisfied (0.2%), quite satisfied (5%), satisfied (38.7%), and very satisfied (56.1%). However, 2.2% or 1 out of 46 participants reported dissatisfaction with the respondent's understanding. The coefficient of determination or R square test of 0.876 or 87.6% is in the 0.8 – 0.99 (very effective). Conclusions: The use of the Normal Birth E-Module is very effective as a learning method that can increase the level of learning satisfaction of nursing students. Keywords: e-module; learning satisfaction; normal birth; nursing students

Abstract

Older adults are vulnerable to psychological disorders such as depression and insomnia, which are often interrelated and can affect both physical and emotional well-being. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of combining HT7 (Shenmen) acupressure and murattal therapy on reducing depression and insomnia in the elderly. A case report design was used, involving a 68-year-old woman residing in a social care facility who experienced severe depression and insomnia. The intervention consisted of 12 sessions over four weeks (10 minutes per session), in which the client performed self-acupressure at the HT7 point while listening to murattal as a visual-auditory calming stimulus. Depression and insomnia levels were assessed using the GDS-15 and KSPBJ-IRS instruments. Results showed a reduction in GDS-15 score from 12 to 5 (mild depression) and in KSPBJ-IRS score from 30 to 23 (mild insomnia). The client also reported emotional calmness and motivation to continue the therapy independently. This study suggests that the combined intervention is a safe and effective non-pharmacological option. Further research, such as experimental studies, is recommended with more diverse subjects and varied clinical conditions.
