Abstract

Tujuan jangka panjang penelitian ini adalah merancang dan membuat beberapa sistem pengereman pada mesin gerinda duduk. Sedangkan tujuan khususnya adalah merancang dan membuat sistem pengereman dinamik pada mesin gerinda duduk pada bengkel mekanik Jurusan Teknik Mesin Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang. Metodologi ini mencakup perancangan sistem, persiapan bahan dan alat, perakitan dan pembuatan sistem serta pengambilan hasil. Sehingga terbentuklah sebuah instalasi pengereman dinamik pada mesin gerinda duduk. Hasil yang dicapai adalah dengan mensuplai tegangan dc ke dalam kumparan stator motor mesin gerinda pada saat mesin gerinda  dioffkan dengan variasi tegangan dc sebesar 30 v, 50 v , 70 v, 90 v, dan 110 v dengan variasi diameter batu gerinda 16 cm, 18, cm dan 20 cm, diperoleh hasil pengereman tercepat adalah tegangan yang tertinggi 110 volt dc dengan diameter batu gerinda yang terkecil 16 cm yaitu 3.41 detik, sehingga dapat diisimpullkan bahwa semakin besar tegangan DC yang disuplai dan semakin kecil batu gerinda dari mesin gerinda tersebut maka semakin cepat pula hasil pengeremannya. Dengan terwujudnya instalasi sistem pengereman dinamik mesin gerinda duduk pada bengkel mekanik Jurusan Teknik mesin Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang tentunya dapat mencegah praktikan dalam kesalahan pengereman, meningkatkan keamanan dan kenyamanan kerja serta dapat dijadikan sebagai pembelajaran buat mahasiswa.

Abstract

Batteries are components that supply, provide and distribute electrical energy in various electronic devices. Still, there are times when the battery must be recharged because the battery has a high energy storage ratio but has limited power. Another component that functions like a battery is a supercapacitor which can store a large charge of energy that can be used to help battery performance. This study aimed to analyze the impact of installing supercapacitors on batteries operating in solar power plants by varying the number of supercapacitors connected to batteries. The methods used in this research are literature study, design method, manufacturing method, testing method, and data analysis method. Based on the test results, it was found that the installation of 4 capacitors has optimal performance, with an average current consumption of 0.18877551 Ampere. For three capacitors, the average current is 0.203552632 Ampere. For two capacitors, the average current is 0.205517241 Ampere. As for the power characteristics, for four capacitors, the average power is 31.81632653 watts. With three capacitors, the average power is 34.36447368 Watt, and with two capacitors, 34.71724138 Watt.

Abstract

Biosecurity is something that greatly influences livestock production, especially in reducing the risk and consequences of the introduction of infectious diseases. Therefore, the implementation of biosecurity must be implemented well so that livestock are not easily affected by disease and can produce with good economic efficiency and achieve target production. The aim of this research is to determine the level of biosecurity implementation in layer chickens farms in East Banggae District. This research was carried out in East Banggae District, Majene Regency from August to October 2022 . This type of research uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The sample used in this research was 17 breeders. This research instrument uses a questionnaire whose contents are structured questions/statements, closed answer options using a measurement scale, namely the Guttman scale. The implementation of biosecurity observed in this research is isolation, sanitation and traffic control.  Data analysis in this research uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that the application of biosecurity is isolation with a percentage of 75%, sanitation with a percentage of 68.4%, and traffic control with a percentage of 22.2%. Keywords: Biosecurity, East Banggae, Layer Chickens, Majene
