Abstract

This research explores Tafsir bi al-Ma'tsur, or Qur'an interpretation via history. This qualitative research method uses literature and historical interpretation. This paper discusses the history of Tafsir bi al-Ma'tsur, its restrictions, and scholarly disagreements over it. This study finds that Tafsir bi al-Ma'tsur is an interpretation based on Qur'anic verses, the Prophet Muhammad's viewpoints, companions, and scholars, commencing with the interpretation of Qur'anic verses with Qur'anic verses. 'an, the Qur'an's hadith, the Companions' atsar, and the Tabi'in's view. The Qur'an must be interpreted using a manner agreed upon by scholars to be in compliance with Shari'a. If the interpretation is done honestly and according to the manner approved by the commentators, it will obtain two rewards from Allah SWT if it's accurate, but only one if it's wrong, according to the Prophet SAW's statements on Ijtihad. This research should aid Qur'an scholars and interpreters. This research explains Tafsir bi al-Ma'tsur-related issues. This research offers a complete review of all western scientists' perspectives of Qur'anic exegesis literature to update our knowledge of Tafsir bi al-Ma'tsur.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to delve into the Al-Qur'an and the manner through which it was revealed. This brief study is qualitative in nature and is based on a survey of the literature. The analysis was then carried out using content analysis techniques and an interpretation methodology. This study's findings and discussions include the theme of revelation and the Qur'an, the procession of the revelation of the Al-Qur'an, and the gradation of perceptions related to the revelation of the Al-Qur'an. The revelation, as well as the revelation procession, served as a precursor to the critical 'Ulum al-Qur'an debate. The diverse perspectives on the revelation procession become the ideal bridge for lovers of knowledge of the Al-Qur'an in investigating the innermost meaning of the entity of the Al-Qur'an so that it may also be accepted and understood by the general population, wherever and whenever they are. Particularly for Muslims who are guided by the Al-Qur'an. This modest study has limitations, especially the absence of determination of new perceptions, so that they continue to analyze already existing information, resulting in information that is confined to reinforcing and enhancing knowledge about the revelation process. This modest study also suggests that in the future, fresh viewpoints on the process of the revelation of the Al-Qur'an may be discovered.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss entrepreneurship with the Tafsir Al-Misbah perspective. This research method is qualitative through literature study with an interpretive approach. The results and discussion of this research include the notion of entrepreneurship, analysis of the Tafsir Al-Misbah, and entrepreneurship in the perspective of Tafsir Al-Misbah. This research concludes that the Al-Qur'an gives a message to always work hard, innovate, and take advantage of facilities for productivity. This study recommends that an in-depth study be carried out on other aspects of entrepreneurship to create new, more solutions

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the riya' perspective of the Qur'an. This study uses a qualitative method through literature study with an interpretation approach. The results and discussion of this study show that the understanding of riya' in the Qur'an based on thematic interpretation includes three things, namely riya' in prayer, in almsgiving, and riya' is the nature of the Quraysh infidels. This study concludes that riya 'is a commendable act that can eliminate the value of alms, the reward of prayer, and the reward of society. Therefore, Islam as confirmed by the Qur'an teaches to avoid the attitude of riya'. This study recommends that an in-depth study be carried out on other aspects of riya' in the perspective of the interpretation of the Qur'an to give birth to new things that are more solution.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore contemporary contemporary modernist commentators in Indonesia. The method used in this research is qualitative through literature study using a historical approach. The results and discussion of this study include interpretation methodology, contemporary modern interpretation figures including; A. Hasan with his commentary work Al Furqan, Hasbi Ash Shiddieqy with his work Tafsir An-Nur, and Hamka with his work Tafsir Al-Azhar. This study concludes that there are A. Hasan, Hasbi Ash Shiddieqy and Hamka including contemporary modern commentators in Indonesia, whose style of interpretation is quite different from the interpretation in classical times. The presence of contemporary modern commentators in Indonesia adds to the scientific treasures of the Qur'an and Tafsir, especially in knowledge about contemporary modern interpreters. The weakness of this research is that it only describes three Indonesian mufassir figures in the contemporary modern age. This research recommends that we can study more deeply about the figures of interpretation in Indonesia in the modern and contemporary centuries.

Abstract

Efforts to dig up information about the history of the development of interpretation in terms of periodization, from the time of the Companions to the modern period is part of the aim of the discourse on the science of the Qur'an and interpretation. Then, the method used in this research is qualitative through literature study using a historical approach. This study describes the interpretation of the companion period, the tabi'in period and the modern period. This study concludes that there are differences in the development of interpretation in each period. The characteristic of the interpretation of the Companions period is that it does not interpret all verses and its interpretation is concise. The characteristics of the interpretations of the tabi'in period are the many interpretations that contain information from the scribes, there is fanaticism of the schools of thought, there are several tabi'in who only take interpretations from the desired companions. The hallmark of modern interpretation is interpretation which is linked to the social conditions of people's lives. This research provides constructive aspirations regarding the study of the science of the Qur'an and interpretation which is focused on the historical aspects of its development along with the figures of commentators according to their periodization.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore Scientific Interpretation as a style of interpretation that uses a scientific approach in understanding the verses of the Qur'an. The method used in this research is qualitative through literature study using historical and scientific approaches. The results and discussion of this research include, the history of the development of scientific interpretation, limitations, opinions of scholars and the book of scientific interpretation. This study concludes that Scientific Interpretation is a part of the discourse on Al-Qur'an studies and interpretations whose existence cannot be avoided. There are differences of opinion among scholars regarding Scientific Interpretation, some accept and reject the presence of this interpretation. The presence of Scientific Interpretation adds to the scientific treasures of Qur'anic interpretation, especially in developing the principle of harmony between the Qur'an and science. One product that is an example of constructive and solutive ideas from Tafsir Ilmi is the birth of the book Tafsir Al-Kasyaf in the classical era and the Interpretation of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia in the modern-contemporary era. The weakness of this study is that it only explains topics related to Scientific Interpretation without explaining specifically the aspects of the text of the commentary product. Then, this study also recommends that we can study more deeply about the epistemology of Scientific Interpretation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membahas perbedaan penafsiran zAl-Qur’an di kalangan para sahabat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan bersifat kualitatif melalui styudi kepustakaan. Hadil dan pembahasan penelitian ini terdiri dari bahasa Al-Qur’an dan metodenya, penafsiran Al-Qur’an di masa sahabat, munculnya perbedaan penafsiran dikalangan sahabat dan penyebabnya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perbedaan penafsiran dikalangan sahabat di dorong oleh dua sebab. Pertama sebab dzatiyyah yaitu sebab yang berkaitan dengan kepribadian mufasir. Seperti kadar ilmu dan pemahaman yang dimiliki sahabat, ketelitiannya, kemampuannya dalam mendengarkan sebuah riwayat dengan sempurna atau tidak, salah dalam pengambilan hukum. Sebab kedua adalah sebab maudzu’iyyat yaitu sebab yang berkaitan dengan nash atau dilalah. Seperti perbedaan dari sisi qiraat, dari sisi irab, polemik ahli bahasa dalam memaknai sebuah kalimat, lafaz isytirak, am dan khas, muthlaq dan muqayyad, hakiki dan majazi, idlmar dan istiqlal, pertambahan kalimat, urutan awal dan akhir, muhkam dan mansukh, perbedaan riwayat penafsiran.
