Abstract

One of the parameters of dredgers succeed is the rate success of overburden and kaksa per hour. For Dredger 21 Singkep 1 in September 2016 its LPT reach 493 m3/h, so it is still not yet achieved the ideal LPT dredger with bowl measuring 24 cuft of 782,44 m3/hour. The technical study on the excavation of top soil and kaksa done through the stages of research that consists of data collection, grouping the data as well as data processing and analysis. The results of this study indicateLPT ideal on the excavation of top soil for 978,05 m3/hour can be achieved by setting an average depth of 0.54 m emphasis ladder on the side wire speed of 6.82 m/minute and the pull wire speed setting aside that is equal to 8,04 m/minute at an average depth of 0.46 m emphasis ladder, while ideal in the excavation layer kaksa’s LPT of 586.83 m3/hour can be achieved by setting an average depth of 0.26 m emphasis ladder on the side of the wire speed 8.73 m/minute and the pull wire speed setting aside of 11.16 m/ minute at an average depth of 0.20 m emphasis ladder. LPT excavation of topsoil using face long methods reaches 845.38 m3/hour, or an increase of 19.7% from the LPT on short face methods that is equal to 652.78 m3/hour.

Abstract

PT Vitrama Properti is one of the private companies that run on the mining field, namely the mining of natural resources of granites. In this study, the researcher observes the cost of explosion used by PT Vitrama Properti in its mining of granites. According to the economic analysis, to determine the cost of explosion need to count on the breakeven point. The method employed in this research is to analyze the breakeven point. Breakeven point is a calculation used to know the volume of explosion rate so that the total income and total cost will be at the breakeven point. The data collection is conducted from December 2016 to February 2017, including the data of drilling cost, explosion usage cost, the salary of employees and contract employees, excavators and dump trucks fuel cost, equipment ownership cost, and the specification of explosion tools and equipment. The result of the data analysis shows that the total explosion cost paid by PT Vitrama Properti in January 2017 is Rp.1,041,936,063,00 and the total income earned is Rp.1,287,134,940.00, so the total profit made is Rp.245,198,976.00. Whereas, the breakeven point of PT Vitrama Properti in January 2017 is on the explosion volume rate of 23,109.08 m3 with the total earning and total cost is Rp.841,170,781.00. One of the significant factors to reduce the cost of explosion is to improve the geometry of explosion and to make the effective use of ANFO. After implementing the improved geometry of the explosion, the breakeven point is also improved from the volume rate of 23,109.08 m3 to the volume rate of 21,090.35 m3. Also, to increase the income from the explosion process can be done by increasing the sale of granite from the explosion (boulder) into 7,072.17 m3 with the total income of Rp.257,426,988.00, as well as by increasing the total product sale of 24,752.59 m3 with the total income obtained of Rp.900,994,458.00.

Abstract

Granite crushing plant in PT Vitrama Properti is divided into two units, namely primary crusher and secondary crusher with production targets at 60,000 tons/month, but production target had not been reached. Therefore, to achieve the production target, it was necessary to analyze the optimalization of the crushing process starting from the assessment of the availability, the working efficiency of the operator, the feed rate and production capacity of crushing plant by using statistical and mathematical methods. In September 2016, the actual working efficiency of primary crusher unit and secondary crusher unit were very low at 15,75 % and 24,75 % with production only amounted to 16771.49 tons/month and 16,135,59 tons/month. The efforts undertaken in order to achieve production targets are: 1) Increase the actual working efficiency in the primary crusher previously 15,75 to 83.14%, while the secondary crusher previously 24,75 % to 83.27 % 2) Increase the feed rate to the secondary crusher previously 283,44 tons/hour to 320 tons/hour.

Abstract

In 2017 PTBA plans to open pit mining in Banko Barat Pit II uses a system of drilling and blasting. Drilling and blasting activities aimed memberai hard material to support the process of making material by excavator-unloading With limited human resources drilling and blasting is currently assisted by partners. To get the maximum benefit with minimum cost necessary to study the cost of drilling and blasting between using the cost of services partners or self-management tool by PTBA.Planning of drilling and blasting costs PTBA version used by the method of self-management tools while the costs of drilling and blasting use the services of the partnership using the mail service offering. Geometri blasting used method R.L Ash so that would be obtained comparative cost planning and drilling and blasting between PTBA and partner services.The cost of drilling obtained using a self-management tool values ​​obtained Rp 13.021.982.688/tahun, while using the services of the partnership obtained the value of Rp 26.472019.517/year. The cost of blasting using a self-management tool values ​​obtained Rp 44.767.919.566/year, while using the services of the partnership obtained the value of Rp 51.750.738.054/year. The total cost of drilling and blasting self-managed appliance obtained the value of Rp 57.789.902.254/year more economical compared with services partnership with a value of Rp 78.222.757.571/year, these results show the difference in cost of Rp 20.432.855.317/year.

Abstract

PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk is one of the BUMN which is engaged in coal mining. This research was conducted in Pit 3 East West Banko operated by the contractor. The process of stripping overburden the difference in volume measurement survey overburden calculations progress ritation conveyance of overburden in one period, this can cause losses, therefore analysis overburden dumps.The study was conducted through a survey progress overburden, by measuring the elevation of each stage disposal area using Global Positioning System (GPS), then processed using Software Minescape to get volume of the preliminary draft and volume accumulation from February to October 2016 and then compared with the volume of every ritation to get a correction of cargo carrying means of each ritation. Testing of native soil specific gravity and material of disposal area to get a percentage compaction ofmaterial.The results showed the initial draft disposal volume amounted to 2,508,449.9 m3, the actual volume of hoarding February - October 2016 amounted to 2,130,080.3 m3, the total volume of production of means of conveyance before the compaction of 2,353,206 BCM. Value shrinkage percentage the disposal’ material of 9,3%, so that volume production of means of conveyance after compaction into 2,134,357.84 CCM, then it can be seen that the correction charge each ritasi his conveyance of 23,744 BCM.

Abstract

The process of acid mine drainage in settling pond Pit 3 Barat Banko Barat PT Bukit Asam Tbk uses quicklime for berries carried out in the first inlet or pond channel. The pH value after the neutralization process has fulfilled the environmental quality standard value of 6-9 but the use of quicklime is less effective because it does not match the amount of water in the settling pond Pit 3 Barat Banko Barat. This can affect the economic use of quicklime in the Settling Pond. Therefore, testing and recalculation are needed in order to know the amount of quicklime to neutralize acid mine drainage and the cost of using lime needed based on the volume of water in the settling pond. The actual data in the field for the use of quicklime is 0.4 gr / l to be able to centralize acid mine drainage in accordance with environmental quality standards. This research method is testing 13 samples of acid mine neutralizing water in the laboratory with the addition of quicklime in order to calculate the amount of quicklime and the cost of using quicklime which is needed to neutralize acid mine drainage. Test results in the laboratory obtained a dose of quicklime of 0.2 gr / l to be able to neutralize the water to fit Environmental Quality Standards with an initial pH value of 3.43 to 7.11 after adding quicklime. The volume of water used is the settling pond volume which is 3,600,000 l. The amount of quicklime needed after testing in the laboratory is 18 sacks, while the actual amount of quicklime used in the field is 36 sacks. The actual cost required in using lime based on data in the field is Rp 1,224,000.00 and the cost of using quicklime based on laboratory testing data is Rp 612,000.00

Abstract

PT Menara Cipta Mulia is a primary tin mining company. The primary tin ore processing process includes comminution, sizing and concentration activities. The stage of primary tin ore comminution begins with the crushing process using a jaw crusher and then refined using a ball mill again. Ball mill is a form that is used to shrink the grain size of materials to obtain finer materials (fine materials) and preparation of the right size for the concentration process, namely size 60.degree. -200 mesh. Variable ball mill settings that are not appropriate welcome coarse ball mill scouring material (20 s.d. 50 mesh), so we need to do the grinding again because the minerals have not been taken from the impurity minerals. The ineffective process of grinding primary tin ore records high production costs. The experiment was carried out with bait stimulating variables 3-4 TPH, 4-5TPH, and 5-6 TPH. The bait size is 0-2 cm, 0-4 cm and 0-6 cm. The air rate is 4.436 l/h, 7.394 l/h, and 11.091 l/h. The experiment was conducted 27 times with the combined formula for the results of scouring the ball mill. Based on the experiments carried out, the right material for the process of concentration size 60 s.d. Was obtained. -200 mesh, because the size of the mineral has been released from the impurity minerals. The smaller feed bait, bait size, and air flow obtained from the materials resulting from the grinding of ball mill 60 mesh up to -200 mesh height. Effectiveness of grinding get in sample 19 with the highest production value of 5 s.d. 6 TPH. This parameter is used to get the right results for the concentration process, which is 60 mesh size. -200 mesh. The effective value of the feed rate variable 5 d. 6 TPH, feedback size 0-2 cm, and water rate 4.336 l/h.

Abstract

The tendency of increasing demand for limestone as one of the raw materials for making cement, it is necessary to have appropriate mining to fulfill these needs. The importance of synchronization of loading and hauling equipments in working optimally and efficiently will influences the ability of mechanical devices in productivity. Match factors can find out the comparison of the number of loading and hauling equipment working in mining operations. Analysis of the calculation of match factors based on the circulating time of mechanical devices and the number of devices operating, data taken 30 times a month in July 2018. The primary data such as; circulation time of mechanical devices, resistance factors, bucket and vessel real capacity, effective working time of devices and number of devices, while secondary data such as; devices specifications, devices and operator work time, layout maps, rainfall and company production targets. The research method used is the calculation and analysis of quantitative data on factors that influence the ability of mechanical devices in production. The production target for limestone mining in pit 242 is 350,000 tons / month using a Hitachi ex 2500-6 Excavator unit synchronized with five units of Dumptruck Komatsu HD 785-7. Current devices production capability is 262,198.66 tons / month with a value factor of 0.80. The problem that occurs is not yet achieved the planned production target, this is due to the still low effective working time and work efficiency as a result of existing constraints. Efforts to increase production can be done by improving the effective working time of initially 637.99 minutes per day to 707.30 minutes per day or 81.29% of the total available working time, adding the number of bulk filling to 6 times and adding transportation equipment as many as two units, so that production increased to 361,415.82 tons per month and the value of the match factor for mechanical devices increased to 0.96.

Abstract

PT Bumiwarna Agung Perkasa, abbreviated as PT BWAP has a crushing plant which is divided into two units, namely primary crusher and the secondary crusher unit. Granite stone crushing plant of PT BWAP has production target 40.000 tons/month, but the production target has not been achieved, which 15.185,21 tons on June and 23.406,94 tons on July 2018, because there are production barriers which cause the available work of these two units to reduce and improve production targets, therefore to achieve production targets, evaluation of the demolition plant is needed. The method used in this study is the tool availability method. The data needed is the speed of feed raw material, tool working time, tool standby time and the weight of product samples taken on the conveyor belt. The main calculation of the primary primary crusher unit is very low at 32,67 % with a total production of only 26.940,20 tons/month and the secondary crushing unit is also very low at 42,45 % with a total production of 20.424,92 tons/month. After repairs, the working efficiency of the primary crusher unit increased to 75,69 % and the work efficiency of the secondary crusher increased to 78,15 % and to increase feeding to the secondary crusher unit, activating the two vibro feeders, so that the feed increased from 190,34 tons/hour to 260,06 tons/hour and the final production of crushing plant increased to 53.352 tons/month.

Abstract

BWD Kundur 1 with the ability to dig up to 60 meters below sea level . Tin Mining Processes in theSea Penganak is mined using Bucket Wheel Dredge in the realization block with a total production of30 tons in September 2018. With the production target the calculation of company reserves is greaterthan the production realization of the BWD. The problem obtained in the field is a mismatch of reservecalculations with the realization of extracting tin ore that exceeds the tolerance limit. For good yieldcoefficients, namely 1 - 1.2, which has been set SOP. The reserve calculation uses the manualmethod using the Area of Influence method which this calculation is done by making a polygon area ofthe influence of the borehole and calculating the area of influence of the drill hole manually with 3 drillholes in the realization block of Kundur 1 BWD of 34,348 tons and the results of the realization of the2018 septber month were 30 tons. After obtaining the results of the two reserve calculations and theresults of the realization, then the two results can be compared to determine the Results Coefficient,find the factors that caused the incompatibility of the calculation of the performance such as BWDperformance, the type of layer extracted BWD, weather at the time of excavation and efforts toimprove Results Coefficients such as doing selective mining to determine the productive direction ofmultiplication. From the results of the manual calculation of the realization block obtained Pdh 34,3tons while the results of realization in the Psb field of 30 tons, the percentage difference in the ratio is -12,65% and the Results Coefficient of 0.85 including inappropriate from KH 1.2 according to SOP with0.2 tolerance.
