Abstract

                Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami proses kreatif seniman Indonesia dan seniman Belanda pada proyek residensi “Landing Soon” I hingga XI serta mengetahui persamaan dan perbedaan di antara keduanya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini memerlukan data berupa arsip proses kreatif sebagai data primer serta data berupa arsip karya seni sebagai data sekunder. Proses kreatif dibatasi dari segi waktu yaitu pada proyek residensi “Landing Soon” yang berlangsung pada tahun 2006-2009, dan juga dari segi lokasi yakni Rumah Seni Cemeti. Seniman yang terlibat pada proyek residensi ini sejumlah 26. Langkah penelitian yang dilakukan adalah mengumpulkan data kemudian menganalisis data. Sesuai dengan teori Alma M. Hawkins, pada proyek residensi “Landing Soon” seniman Indonesia dan seniman Belanda berproses kreatif dengan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu: eksplorasi, improvisasi, dan pembentukan. Persamaan proses kreatif antara seniman Indonesia dengan seniman Belanda antara lain dalam hal interaksi budaya, lokalitas, dan bidang disiplin. Persamaan-persamaan ini terbentuk karena adanya pengkondisian berdasarkan tujuan residensi “Landing Soon” itu sendiri. Perbedaannya antara lain dalam hal basic research, ide, serta media dan teknik berkarya. Beberapa perbedaan ini berakar pada aspek-aspek bawaan seniman dan kecenderungannya yang berbeda-beda.Kata kunci: proses kreatif, residensi “Landing Soon”, seniman

Abstract

The human eye holds a beauty potential that is rarely seen. In contrast to the eyes of animals such as insects and reptiles that are almost the same in the preparation and shape, the human eyes are composed of a different variety of patterns and textures even right and left eye on each person. In this paper, the photographs are presented using the conceptual techniques of macro photography and photographic expression. By using macro photography techniques that can magnify an object and capture the details of the beauty of the human eye, it can be seen clearly. The creation process concist ofexploration, experimentation, and formation. Taking picture was done by using DSLR camera and helped by the lighting from studio. Selection of the human eye as an object in photography using macro technique is a new thing. The results obtained in each image capture raise an unexpected impression.

Abstract

Nriman adalah proses di mana manusia menerima sebuah keadaan yang ada tanpa berani berargumen untuk melawan dan membantah. Keadaan nriman itu sendiri merupakan warisan tradisi adat ketimuran yang sudah mendarah daging. Proses nriman sendiri menggiring manusia mengikuti arus, tanpa ada pegangan. Sama halnya dengan benda cair yang selalu mengikuti bentuk sesuai wadahnya. Proses nriman dicoba diangkat oleh penulis dengan memvisualisasikan-nya sebagai seni ekspresi visual dengan teknik fotografi makro. Dengan memanfaatkan sifat benda cair, penulis mengombinasikan beberapa medium untuk menghasilkan sebuah tampilan visual menarik dan penuh makna, untuk merepresentasikan proses nriman tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang katalog foto produk Fanschant Store di kota Malang yang berfungsi untuk membantu mempromosikan dan membuat sebuah katalog produk. Fanschant store merupakan brand baru dan memiliki produk-produk baju, jaket, topi, dan celana. Dalam katalog ini akan menampilkan hasil foto produk fanschant, ukuran produk dan harga produk yang nantinya akan menjadi media untuk mempromosikan kepada masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan observasi yaitu melakukan pengamatan langsung ke lokasi yang dituju dan melakukan wawancara kepada pemilik toko Fanschant Store dan kepada masyarakat yang menyukai atau mendukung tim sepak bola Arema yang kemudian didukung oleh studi pustaka yang bersumber dari jurnal dan buku. Proses perancangan pembuatan katalog foto produk ini dimulai dari pra produksi meliputi konsep, pembuatan thumbnails foto, dan layout katalog. Dan dilanjutkan ke tahap produksi foto dan editing. Tahapan editing menggabungkan elemen visual meliputi foto, teks, dan warna. Setelah dilakukan uji validasi melalui media kuisioner yang disebar sesuai target, menunjukkan katalog produk ini masuk dalam kategori layak dengan penilaian dari 30 responden. Dengan demikian katalog foto produk Fanschant Store telah berhasil memberikan informasi dan juga promosi tentang produknya yang menarik yang disajikan dalam katalog.

Abstract

Street children are a social problem that is an interesting phenomenon in social life. Quoting from street children who are cared for by Griya Baca Malang, here there are a lot of children who do not get an education like ordinary children, due to their circumstances which require them to live on the streets, even earn money by busking/begging, their background is mostly from economic pressure. , from this problem it is important for the community to care more about them because after all they are the nation's generation, after research on the problem, the solution for this is to hold a awareness campaign through t-shirt illustrations. The purpose of designing this t-shirt illustration is as a form of public awareness to be more concerned with street children. Illustrations will make it easier to convey messages and have their own charm so that messages from the campaign can be conveyed properly. Product effectiveness testing was carried out on February 16, 2022, showing that the results of the assessment of this t-shirt illustration obtained a fairly high positive percentage, namely 29 out of 30 respondents. This book received a positive response from respondents based on the results obtained from this test. Keywords: Street children, illustration, campaign

Abstract

School is the level of education that must be passed before continuing to a higher level. In a school environment bullying continues to occur, even it tends to be inherited and present in various forms that we do not realize. The case of violence in high school is the highest. So it is necessary to design an infographic media that can convey messages about school bullying at high school level using motion graphic technique. To make an infographic media it is necessary to collect data through interview method and literature study. Then the datum obtained are summarized and analyzed into important points. Stages of infographic design in the form of visualization of making object characters and background, the process of editing the addition of effects and audio until the last stage is rendering. Visual and audio elements are composed using motion graphics techniques that make the target audience understand the information contained in the infographics faster and easier. The conclusion of this infographic design that is the importance of expertise in graphic design, skills in applying effects and reproduce references about infographics. This infographic distribution is uploaded on youtube channel then the link will be shared in high school groups. In addition it will be used as a medium of learning by counseling teachers. Based on the results of product testing through questionnaires, it can be concluded that respondents responded to this infographis well and very worthy to be published.

Abstract

Sedudo Waterfall is a waterfall and a tourist attraction located in Ngliman Village Sawahan, Nganjuk regency, East Java. The distance is about 30 km south of the capital Nganjuk district. Located at an altitude of 1438 meters above sea level, the height of the waterfall is about 105 meters. In an effort to present information to the public about the origin of waterfalls, it is necessary for have an Information media. Therefore motion graphic animation is one of the alternative information media that is used visual appearrance considerations of interest so that the audience can absorb the information submitted. In supporting the research process this final assigment required research methods such as data collection, analysis and concept design. The conclusion in making animation of sedudo Waterfall Nganjuk requires data and analysis with the aim that the information submitted can be received well, with the right creative concept, ranging from verbal information data that is conveyed to the design of visual ideas. From the calculation of questionnaire answers "Yes" as much as 82.8% while the answer "No" as much as 16.2%, it can be concluded based on the feasibility category of this information media very feasible to publish as information video.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini, ada solusi untuk menginformasi masyarakat luas melalui media buku foto, yang berisi foto-foto dokumentasi acara Grow Between A Threat atau acara lain yang diorganisir langsung oleh Titikdua Kolektif. Diharapkan, buku foto ini juga menjadi media baru untuk menyebarluaskan kelompok kolektif dengan semangat gotong royong yang menginspirasi banyak kalangan. Hasil pengujian yang dilakukan dengan pengambilan data wawancara dan kuesioner kepada inisiator Grow Between A Threat dan Titikdua Kolektif dan 30 responden atas kepuasan mereka sebagai subjek terhadap buku foto “Grow Between A Threat: Through The Lens” sebagai media informasi. Dari hasil kuisioner di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa persentase kepuasan akan buku foto “Grow Between A Threat: Trough The Lens” adalah 91,81% dari 30 responden. Dari hasil wawancara, inisiator Grow Between A Threat dan Titikdua Kolektif merasa cukup puas dengan hasil akhir buku foto “Grow Between A Threat: Through The Lens”, baik sebagai buku foto itu sendiri maupun sebagai media informasi.

Abstract

This research discusses visual identity as a promotional medium because Nimade Donuts does not yet have a visual identity so that customers have difficulty knowing this brand.In this study, Nimade Donuts strives to use more efficient promotional media by making logos, packaging, business cards, posters and x-banners. This promotional media will later become one of the print media used and placed in the Nimade Donuts store.The Nimade Donuts logo that is applied to acrylic will later become a sign system that is placed in front of the Nimade Donuts store to make it easier for customers. Of the questionnaires distributed to 30 respondents as much as 90,78% stated that the selection of visual identity and photo promotion media strongly agreed and was in accordance with the target market so that with the existence of visual identity and promotional media this had answered the problem formulation. Abstract

One of Indonesia's cultural diversity is the Sand Man Tradition, namely the tradition of the people of East Legung Village, Batang Batang District, Sumenep Regency, East Java Province who sleep in the sand every day. This study aims to provide information effectively and attractively to the community about the Sand Man Tradition as a local culture. In addition, the purpose of this research is to provide awareness to the community of the importance of protecting and preserving the surrounding environment. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research are the people of Madura Island, especially teenagers. Collecting data in this study using observation and interviews through questionnaires. The results showed that first, efforts to maintain tradition were carried out by utilizing visual media in the form of an interesting illustrated book so that information about the Tradition of Desa Pasir was conveyed well to the local community. Second, the effort to protect nature is not to throw away or not defecate into the sea or around the coast.
