Abstract

Krajan, Pendarungan, Kecamatan Kabat, Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Pekerjaan warga sekitar adalah petani dan berkebun, usaha tani kopi, peternak dan berbagai pertanian lahan kering. Untuk menjaga konsistensi peningkatan hasil panen yang diproduksi sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasar, perlu dilakukan pengawasan dan pengendalian mutu (quality control) atas aktivitas proses yang dijalani. Dalam budidaya ini masih menggunakan cara yang konvensional sekala home industri maka terdapat kekurangan yang perlu di perhatikan untuk menjaga kualitas yang sesuai dengan keingin pasar. Pada proses pemasaranan hasil ternak lebah mempunyai daya saing tinggi yang dapat bertahan di dalam usaha untuk meningkatkan keuntungan pendapatan keluarga. Pada penelitian ini untuk mengukur QC (Quality Control) menggunakan 7 cara, yaitu: mengukur data kecacatan dengan Check Sheet, flow chart menggambarkan alur pengerjaan, untuk distribusi frekuensi dengan histogram, control chart, analisa scatter diagram dan menganalisa penyebab dengan fishbone agar hasil panen tertangani dengan baik dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan penghasilan.

Abstract

Optimization and innovation are necessary to enhance the resilience of transportation, particularly through the improvement of connections. Connections play a crucial role, especially in structural designs that often utilize various types of joints. The use of composite connection components inspired by nature, such as tree branch connections, can be a solution to improve joint resilience. Tree branch connections exhibit desired structural properties, including strength, toughness, fatigue resistance, and damage tolerance. The application of Advanced Additive Manufacturing, such as stereo-lithography, is employed to integrate fiber structures in joint designs. These joints aim to replace bolts and nuts, which can damage load-bearing fibers and increase local stresses. Testing indicates that tree branch-inspired joint designs, especially with 37.5% embedding, provide the most optimal results with the best values for stress, displacement, and safety factors compared to other joint design variations.

Abstract

In facing intense competition in the repair service industry, UD. MBS Audio needs to engage in continuous efforts to enhance service quality and understand the changing dynamics of customer needs. Therefore, the aim of this research is to identify and improve service quality, as well as to design an action plan to enhance services at UD. MBS Audio. This research utilizes the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method as a tool to translate customer expectations related to product or service quality. From the calculation results using the IPA method, Quadrant IV is identified as the top priority because it is considered highly important by customers and requires special attention as its performance has not yet reached optimal satisfaction levels. Critical attributes in Quadrant IV include P1, P5, and P10. A thorough evaluation of service quality, divided into four quadrants based on the IPA method, indicates that attributes in Quadrant IV (Top Priority) need continuous improvement to enhance their performance. The company's main focus should be on sustained improvement efforts to enhance the performance of these attributes, such as the cleanliness and tidiness of the facilities provided by UD. MBS Audio, providing satisfactory service results according to customer preferences, and offering guaranteed warranties.

Abstract

Delays in the supply of chicken feed at XYZ Farm resulted in a decrease in chicken egg productivity, resulting in chicken death. To ensure that production runs smoothly, XYZ Farms must guarantee the availability of raw materials for chicken feed. The aim of this research is to determine the ideal number of orders for chicken feed supplies to minimize feed shortages due to delivery delays. This research applies the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method to help XYZ farms manage the purchase of raw materials for chicken feed, and Single Exponential Smoothing to forecast supplies that are updated continuously by considering the latest data. The forecasting calculation uses an accuracy of 0.6 for the need for katul, corn and concentrate in January 2024. The results of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) calculation show that the optimal order for Katul is 6,702 kg, corn 29,190 kg, concentrate 25,402 kg. Orders are made 4 times a month, and Reorder Point is made when 1,586 kg of katul remains, 6,494 kg of corn and 8,742 kg of concentrate. Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendaur ulang limbah baglog jamur tiram menjadi media tanam ramah lingkungan. Limbah baglog yang tidak dikelola dengan baik menjadi salah satu sumber pencemaran lingkungan yang serius di wilayah Kecamatan Sempu, Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Selain itu, limbah ini juga menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi masyarakat setempat. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini dirancang untuk memberikan solusi inovatif melalui pengolahan limbah baglog menjadi produk yang bernilai ekonomis dan bermanfaat.Pelaksanaan pengabdian dimulai dari tahap persiapan yang melibatkan survei lokasi dan koordinasi dengan mitra. Selanjutnya, tahap pelaksanaan meliputi kegiatan sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis pengolahan limbah, pendampingan, dan evaluasi terhadap produk yang dihasilkan. Kegiatan ini melibatkan kelompok masyarakat setempat yang memiliki usaha budidaya jamur tiram. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan limbah baglog. Selain itu, masyarakat berhasil mengolah limbah menjadi media tanam dengan kualitas yang baik dan potensi pemasaran yang menjanjikan. Disarankan untuk melanjutkan pengabdian dengan studi lebih lanjut terkait efektivitas media tanam dari limbah baglog pada berbagai jenis tanaman serta pengembangan jejaring pemasaran produk. melalui monitoring berkala dan pembentukan kelompok peduli kebersihan kandang.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) is an important aspect in industrial operations, especially in the fisheries sector which has high risks. This study focuses on the application of the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to identify and control work risks at PT. Suri Tani Pemuka Banyuwangi, with the aim of increasing work productivity. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the FMEA method in identifying risks and increasing work productivity at PT. Suri Tani Pemuka Banyuwangi. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative approach with a single case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The analysis was carried out by calculating the Risk Priority Number (RPN) based on the Severity, Occurrence, and Detection parameters to determine the priority of risk control. The results showed that the aerator machine maintenance activity had the highest RPN, which indicated a significant risk. The implementation of control measures such as the Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedure and OHS training succeeded in reducing work incidents by 58% and increasing harvest productivity by 15%. The conclusion of the research on the application of FMEA at PT. Suri Tani Pemuka Banyuwangi is effective in identifying and controlling work risks, as well as increasing productivity. This success is influenced by management commitment and active worker participation. Recommendations to develop a more integrated OHS management system with technology, such as the use of Smart PPE and data-based monitoring systems. Periodic evaluation of the risk control system is also important to ensure its effectiveness. Continuous training for workers and good collaboration between management and workers must continue to be improved to create a safe and productive work environment.

Abstract

Penyakit cacingan merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan utama pada domba yang dapat menurunkan produktivitas dan menyebabkan kerugian ekonomi yang signifikan bagi peternak. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peternak dalam mencegah dan mengendalikan penyakit cacingan melalui perbaikan sanitasi kandang serta pemanfaatan obat herbal tradisional. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama enam bulan di Dusun Pakis, Desa Songgon, Banyuwangi dengan melibatkan 25 peternak dan 312 ekor domba. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui pelatihan, demonstrasi, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peternak dari rata-rata 45,3% menjadi 82,7%, perbaikan kondisi sanitasi kandang (kriteria baik meningkat dari 32% menjadi 76%), dan penurunan prevalensi infeksi cacing dari 78,2% menjadi 38,5%. Penggunaan obat herbal seperti daun pepaya dan biji labu berhasil diadopsi oleh 72% peternak dengan efektivitas lapangan rata-rata 67%. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi antara edukasi, kearifan lokal, dan pendekatan partisipatif efektif dalam meningkatkan kesehatan ternak dan kesejahteraan peternak secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Ketergantungan yang tinggi terhadap pupuk kimia di kalangan petani Desa Parangharjo telah menyebabkan penurunan kualitas tanah dan risiko pencemaran lingkungan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dilakukan program pemberdayaan kelompok tani melalui pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik cair berbasis limbah pertanian dan sampah rumah tangga. Metode kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan sosialisasi dan praktik langsung yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa KKN Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Banyuwangi bersama Dinas Pertanian. Proses pelatihan mencakup pencacahan limbah, fermentasi menggunakan bioaktivator EM4 dan molase, serta penyimpanan dalam drum tertutup selama 14 hari. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam mengolah limbah menjadi pupuk cair bernutrisi. Antusiasme peserta tinggi, dan produk akhir yang dihasilkan bersifat ramah lingkungan serta ekonomis. Kegiatan ini mendorong pergeseran pola pikir petani ke arah pertanian berkelanjutan. Disarankan agar program ini dilanjutkan dengan dukungan teknis dari pemerintah desa dan instansi pertanian terkait.

Abstract

Abstract””The increase in electrical energy is increasing along with the needs of rapidly developing technology. However electricity technology also produces negative impacts such as air and noise pollution caused by power plants. Electrical energy generation is still mostly generated from fossil fuels. A solution that can overcome this problem is to switch to more environmentally friendly electricity technology, such as solar panels. This solar powet plant can be used as an option as a charging energy source in a smart furniture. This research aims to make Solar Cell Powered Outdoor Charging Bench technology.   This bench has several important components, namely: Solar Panel, Solar Charging Controller (SSC), inverter, and battery. This Outdoor Bench is placed in an open place such as a park, Public Open Space and so on which will be used as a charging place for cellphones or laptops. The way this bench works starts with the absorption of solar heat by solar panels on the roof of the bench which is converted into low-voltage electrical energy, then this energy is stored in a dry battery (battery) through SSC, low-voltage electricity is converted through an inverter, and this inverter channels electricity to the socket, so that the charging bench can be used properly.

Abstract

Bandar udara merupakan infrastruktur yang sangat penting dalam suatu negara untuk mendukung konektivitas regional maupun global.Dalam pengoperasiannya, faktor keselamatan menjadi prioritas untuk menjaga keamanan dan kenyamanan semua pihak yang terlibat dalam aktivitas bandar udara. Salah satu risiko yang sering dihadapi adalah ancaman Foreign Object Debris (FOD).Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan sebagai pengendalian risiko yaitu metode Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC). Hasil pengambilan data pada bandar udara XYZ menggunakan metode FOD didapatkan data diantaranya menimbulkan risiko sedang   yang cenderung menyebabkan incident, accident, kerusakan mesin, dan ban pesawat yang dapat mengganggu akivitas penerbangan.
