Abstract

PT. XYZ adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang jasa painting di Indonesia, produk yang dikerjakan adalah painting Body EGR. Body EGR (Turbo Charging) adalah salah satu produk yang bertujuan meningkatkan tenaga mesin dan suara yang dihasilkan menjadi lebih halus. Body EGR (Turbo Charging) banyak dijumpai pada kendaraan roda empat dengan mesin diesel, seperti truk dan kendaraan roda empat lainnya yang menggunakan mesin diesel. Painting Body EGR (Turbo Charging) merupakan produk penting pada PT. XYZ , maka dibutuhkan analisa peningkatan kualitas yang tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis cara mengurangi defect wavy pada Body EGR (Turbo Charging) diPT. XYZ. Dengan menggunakan metode Plan-Do-Check-Action (PDCA). Pada tahap Plan Perencanaan untuk mencari dan jenis defect yang paling dominan dan akar penyebab terjadinya produk cacat. Jenis defect paling dominan untuk Body EGR (Turbo Charging) diperoleh 5 jenis. Dengan membuat diagram Pareto dan mencari penyebab terjadinya defect wavy pada Body EGR (Turbo Charging). Berdasarkan diagram pareto, penelitian fokus memperbaiki 1 jenis defect yaitu jenis defect wavy lalu dicarilah faktor penyebab defect tersebut menggunakan diagram Fishbone.Tahap Do Setelah diketahui penyebab terjadinya defect,Menentukan sasaran dan tujuan dalam tindakan perbaikan dan identifikasi produk cacat dan dibantu oleh tools 5W+1H. Tahap Check dilakukan pemeriksaan dengan menggunakan Failure Mode Effect and Analysis (FMEA), di dapatlah nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) yang paling tinggi yaitu sebesar 144,yaitu posisi nozzle kurang pas,dan recommended action yang diberikan berupa usulan untuk pembuatan checksheet khusus untuk pengecekan posisi nozzle sebelum produksi. Tahap selanjutnya adalah tahap Action, pada tahap ini dilakukan peningkatan kualitas dalam bentuk pemberian usulan berupa monitoring dan mengukur kinerja karyawan serta melihat tingkat kualitas suatu produk dengan menggunakan pengecekan (check sheet) dengan meninjau pada proses pemeriksaan.

Abstract

The plastic resin coloring industry has a very important role in the molder supply chain. Materials must be imported from abroad with a long enough lead time, so material purchases are made based on the forecast provided by the molder. The constraints that occur are forecast inaccuracies which result in an increase in inventory level of material and a potential shortage of material at the customer. This research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach, where the research method is carried out by interviews and literature studies. This research is aimed at measuring the extent to which forecast accuracy is carried out by molders using the MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) method, the results of the study show whether or not a forecast is feasible. The results of this study show an average MAPE of 36.5% so that it can be categorized as feasible. Even though the forecast is categorized as feasible, PT X must respond properly to this forecasting inaccuracy so that the supply to the molder is not disrupted. In this study, PT X had to make adjustments to the material arrival planaccording to the current month's material needs. On the other hand, it is no less important to carry out active communication and provide education to molders about the importance of forecast accuracy, so that it can provide benefits for the company itself and the molder.Keywords: Forecasting; MAPE; Molder

Abstract

The existence of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia is heavily influenced by productivity so that it can compete with other countries. Productivity will not be achieved if the production process workflow does not have a manufacturing system. This is what causes requests from customers not to be fulfilled becausethere is a production process flow that still has problems with a shortage of raw materials or the quality is still below standard. This study aims to identify and analyze related to the design of work systems in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia so that customer needs can be met according to their requests. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method starting with journal collection, sorting journals according to topic, processing journals, and analyzing articles according to research topics. This study found several journals related to research topics based on a focus on 2016-2023. This research resulted in the year 2022 being the most published research with 5 articles, while based on the type of industry the most frequently found was the type of automotive industry with 6 articles or 30%. The theoretical implications of this research hope to add references for other researchers in their observations on the Kanban system. While realized in practice, this research serves as a guide in improving the production process flow using the Kanban system, to increase productivity in the manufacturing industry.

Abstract

Quality control and handling of abnormalities is one of the important aspects to maintain the capability of the production process and keep the total defective products produced not exceeding 3300 ppm as a commitment of PT Schlemmer Automotive Indonesia in carrying out its production. An important benefit in the study of quality control and abnormality handling is to be able to learn how quality control measures are carried out and to study the root causes of problems that arise during the production process. Quality control is carried out using QC Seven Tools statistical tools in the form of checksheets, Pareto diagrams, cause-and-effect diagrams and why-why analysis. There are several anomalies that occur on the production floor. Among them are defects in the hinge. This hinge crack defect produces 109 ppm which has a major contribution to the occurrence of quality anomalies. From the analysis of the cause of the hinge crack, there are 3 material flows supplied by 3 different gates. The result of this study is that the highest defect was found in the 7278-9830-3W part with a hinge crack defect of 109 ppm. This is due to the presence of the meeting of the material in the hinge area, causing the material at the hinge to be inhomogeneous. Keywords: Pareto Diagram, QC Seven Tools, Why-Why Analysis

Abstract

Bawang goreng merupakan produk olahan bawang merah yang digoreng hingga renyah dan digunakan sebagai pelengkap atau topping makanan. Produk ini memiliki nilai jual tinggi dan menjadi salah satu andalan UMKM karena bahan bakunya melimpah di pasar lokal, mendukung sektor pertanian, serta memberikan kontribusi signifikan pada pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah. Permintaan bawang goreng stabil karena produk ini meningkatkan cita rasa dan cocok untuk berbagai jenis makanan. UMKM dapat memulai usaha bawang goreng dengan modal kecil dan mengembangkan inovasi melalui variasi rasa, kemasan menarik, hingga produk organik untuk meningkatkan daya tarik konsumen, termasuk potensi ekspor. Namun, UMKM bawang goreng menghadapi tantangan dalam kualitas bahan baku yang dipengaruhi musim, teknik produksi, hingga pengemasan. Masalah seperti bawang goreng berminyak, mudah tengik, atau kualitas yang tidak konsisten dapat mengurangi daya saing produk. Pengembangan produk berbasis kebutuhan konsumen (customer needs) menjadi penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan daya tarik. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, UMKM diberi arahan untuk memahami suara konsumen (voice of customer) dengan observasi, wawancara, dan umpan balik. Pendekatan Quality Function Deployment (QFD) digunakan untuk memastikan produk memenuhi kebutuhan pasar. Pengarahan ini membantu UMKM menciptakan produk berkualitas, diminati konsumen, dan berdaya saing tinggi di pasar.
