Abstract

Abstract: Theresearchwas conducted become of the low learning achievement of student on the subject of hidrocarbon and petroleum who was not reached the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) was 75 that have been esthabilished in school. The research aims to improve learning achievement of student on the subject of hidrocarbon and petroleum.The samples is class XI MIA 4. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. Experimental class is a class that is applied to active learnig strategy typeHollywood Squares Review. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Criteria testing H0 accepted if tcount>ttable  dk = n1 + n2 – 2 with α = 0,05. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount>ttable is 3,07 >1.67, means  that the use of active learning strategy typeHollywood Squares Review can improve student learning achievement on the subject of Hidrocarbon and Petroleumin class XI MIA SMAN 2Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,82.

Abstract

Abstract : This is a classroom action research. This research is an attempt toimprove student learning activities in chemistry on class XI IPA 2 of SMAN 5Pekanbaru by using active learning strategies Hollywood Squares Review. Improvedstudent learning activity is the activity of asking questions, submit answers or opinions,group discussion and enthusiastic about the game of Hollywood Squares. The researchwas conducted with two cycles, in the first cycle consists of three meetings and thesecond cycle consists of two meetings which includes four stages of implementation,namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection includedobservation and test. The results showed that the percentage of students increasedactivity and achieving the success criteria. The percentage of student activity in the firstcycle of 66,07% with categorized good and the second cycle of 81,65% withcategorized very good. Percentage of learning outcomes is also seen from masterylearning that enhances and have achieved success criteria. The percentage of masterylearning students in the first cycle reached 64,29%,which has not reached the criteria ofsuccess, while in the second cycle students learning completeness percentage of 80,95%has achieved succes criteria. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that theuse of active learning strategies types Hollywood Square Review can to increase theactivity and student learning outcomes.Keyword: Active learning strategies types Hollywood Square Review, activities, learningoutcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This Research aims to develop Student Activities Worksheets Based on Hierarchy of Concept on the Solubility and Solubility Product subject valid based on the feasibility aspect of content, language, serve and graphic. The type of this research is research and development (R and D) with reference to the development process of 4-D model. The subject of this research is student activities worksheets based on hierarchy of concept. Instrument of data collection are validation given to four validators, and from analysis data obtained by the validity of aspect of content, aspect of language, aspect of serve, and aspect of graphic are 91,87%, 93,75%, 95,31%, and 92,19% with valid category. Student activities worksheets which validated by the validators tested to 30 students and get response result with percentage of 87,54% with positive category. Based on the result of data analysis can be concluded that student activities worksheets based on hierarchy of concept that produced is valid and can be used for the subject solubility and solubility product.Keywords: Solubility and Solubility Product, Hierarchy of Concept, Student ActivitiesWorksheet

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to improve student learning achievement on the subject of buffer solution in class XI MIPA SMAN 7 Pekanbaru. This type of research is an experimental study with a pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted at SMAN 7 Pekanbaru. The sample from the study was students of class XI MIPA 1 as an experimental class and students in class XI MIPA 2 as a control class. The experimental class is the class applied to the TTW Type Cooperative Learnings while the control class is not treated. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of the data analysis test, tcount> ttable is 2,19> 1,67, meaning that the application of TTW Type Cooperative learning model can improve student learning achievement on the subject of buffer solution in class XI MIPA 1 of SMA Negeri 7 with categories of achievement improvement learning in the experimental class based on Score (N-Gain) is high, which is 0,73.Key Words: Think Talk Write (TTW) Type Cooperative Learning Model, Learning Achievement, Buffer Solution.
