Abstract

The design and operation of electrical power system, economic factor, environ-mental factor, security factor and reliability factor shoud considered. Some kinds of elec-trical power system criterion are voltage-drop and power-loss caused by peak load.The research conducts the contribution of 150 kV underground cable transmi-ssion line to increase Yogyakarta system voltage profile. A simple way to analysis some load flow study is using Electrical Transient Analysis Program ETAP Power Station 4.0.0. Applied to in PT. PLN (Persero) Jateng-DIY Sub System Region 3, 150 kV Transmission Line.The results of simulation showed that using underground cable transmission line can decrease voltage-drop rate at the power system rep to 0.74%, compared to using o-verhead transmission line which is 1.21%. Underground cable transmission line is gene-rated of reactive power by a value off 81.48% from load reactive power. So the under-ground cable transmission line contribute to decrease voltage-drop and power-loss on the electrical power system.

Abstract

Storage box has an important function which is often used to store valuables. In general, the locking system in a storage box is still conventional or manual, making it less practical. In addition, the level of security of the storage box must also be good. As a solution to both of the above, then it is necessary to design an electronic lock system in the storage box by using Electronic Identity Card (E-KTP) as the key access. In the E-KTP embedded chip that contains data that is different from one another. So, with these differences E-KTP can be used as a key. This electronic key system utilizes Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, E-KTP as RFID tags, and Arduino Nano microcontroller. The UID (unique identity) data on the E-KTP will be read by the MFRC522 RFID reader. The data is then used as identification of certain E-KTPs that can be used to access electronic keys (in the form of DC solenoids) in the storage box. The results of the system control and output are in accordance with the plan. The E-KTP registered in the system can be used to access the storage box key. The voltage on the power supply and the Arduino Nano is in accordance with the requirements and in the test, the voltage error is not more than 10%, the MFRC522 RFID Reader is able to read the UID E-KTP data with reading distance 0 mm - 2 mm.

Abstract

The heart is a human organ that has a vital function. Small flaws in the heart organ can have a big effect on our body. In general, our heart beats around 60-100 times in one minute. If you exceed 100 times and less than 60 times every minute means your heart is experiencing an abnormal beat. Because some patients who suffer from heart need the automation of early detection. The development of electronic technology makes it possible for heart examinations to be carried out by the patient himself. This research aims to design and build a device to monitor heart rate using a microcontroller. Noise suppression on the ECG signal, heart rate data that has been detected and processed will be compared with normal and abnormal values ​​of the heartbeat. Furthermore, the microcontroller will determine how the heart condition is detected. From the results of the study the heart rate monitoring system using a microcontroller input voltage of 3.7 V DC was changed by the step up module to 5 V DC with a magnitude of error percentage of 0.863% and a charger module used to charge batteries with 4.2 V DC voltage and the magnitude of the error percentage amounted to 0.119%. The amped pulse sensor has an output voltage value of 2.4 V when it is relaxed and 2.6 V when it is beat, and this sensor has a constant and significant output voltage value in accordance with the rhythm of the heartbeat. The heart rate monitoring tool that is made can measure accurately and precisely, because it has a fairly small average error value of 1,727%.

Abstract

Pembuatan penelitian ini didasarkan pada keinginan untuk mempermudah kebutuhan manusia dalam memberikan ketersediaan energi listrik setiap saat terutama pada rumah tinggal yang sederhana maupun menengah ke atas. Sumber tegangan listrik utama dari PLN tidak akan selamanya kontinyu dalam penyaluranya, suatu saat pasti akan terjadi pemadaman yang kemungkinan dapat disebabkan oleh gangguan alam maupun gangguan pada sistem distribusi. Untuk mengantisipasi pemadaman tersebut maka dibuatlah sebuah prototype autamatic transfer switch (ATS) pada rumah tinggal sederhana dengan bentuk sebenarnya baik pada rangkaian kontrol, instalasi kelistrikan pada beban maupun rangkaian kontrol serta bentuk rumah yang didesain sesuai keadaan nyata. Rangkaian ATS ini berupa sebuah rangkaian kontrol perpindahan beban otomatis dari sumber PLN dan aki melalui power inverter sebagai perubah tegangan DC ke AC yang bekerja secara bergantian ketika salah satu sumber padam. Aki akan terisi kembali melalui rangkaian charger ketika sumber utama PLN hidup kembali. Pengaturan waktu tunda pada rangkaian ATS ini dapat disetting sesuai kebutuhan beban sehingga didapatkan nilai waktu perpindahan yang efektif dan efisien. ATS ini juga dilengkapi pengaman arus beban lebih dan hubung singkat yang berfungsi sebagai pengaman pada rangkaian dari gangguan sistem kelistrikan.

Abstract

This paper discusses the application of solar cells as an electric power source and the electricity generated is used to a drive water pump. The working principle of solar power plants is the conversion of energy contained in to electricity. When these photons strike the surface of the solar cell electrons will be excited and generate electric voltage. Electricity generated from the solar cell is direct current (DC) to charge a battery, which in turn is converted into alternating current (AC) using an inverter. The testing stage carried out in the field is to find the to main parameters whichare the voltage and amperage. Battery is charged by the solar cell to accumulate the solar energy into electrical energy. The produced solar cell voltage ranges from 14.8 to 17.5 volts DC. The Solar cells used are of panel type polycrystalline (poly-crystalline) with a power of 50 wp. Current and voltage of the solar cell source varies depending on the incident sunlight power the cell voltage is ± 17V, but charging the battery the average voltage is 13,5V which is secured by the solar charger controller. Voltage and current will begin to rise in the morning at 07.00 am, then reach the maximum level during the day at 10:00 a.m to 13:00 p.m, and begin to fall in the afternoon.

Abstract

A Centrifuge is one very important medical apparatus for separating some me-dical subtracts such as blood, urine, drugs for producing vaccines and antitoxins. Ba-sically this apparatus is centrifugal turntable equipped with a study turning mechanism and a set of tube holders to accommodate 4 up to 20 subtract sample tubes. The needed rotation controlling system was designed and constructed in steps. First, for the entire mechanical as well as electronic subsystem. Second, on the details of the electronic hardware and the connected mechanism. Third, the software needed to run the electronic hardware. Fourth, to load the controlling program into the AT89C51 microcontroller and finally the run test of the entire system. The result shows that this centrifuge regulator works sufficiently well to replace the original failing system.

Abstract

This research, is studied about a system of PC Datalogger capable to measure, record, present the graph of usher the phase and phase voltage with neutrally on 3-phase electric network in accurate figure, informative and realtime. The watcher of stability process abaut 3-phase electrics network in electronic can do to use transduser with three single phase transformator in way configuration, by using RS232 interface for data communications of PC and measure module. System examination to ability of application program 3-phase datalogger.exe run by PC as regulator process the datalogger voltage 3-phase watched. In this examination, result of voltage monitoring will be presented in separate linearity graph for the tension of test the R-N, S-N, T-N, RS, ST And TR com-paring with the time depth perception.

Abstract

Various types of ceramic materials are mostly found in Indonesia which have different common properties, so lab experiments are needed to determine the natures of the breakdown voltages, capacities, and factors which determine the performance of each ceramic insulator. Type of ceramic tile studied were of diferent platinum, ceramic tile brands. The experiments sho that, the average breakdown voltage of ceramic platinum is 8.12kV, the room conditions during testing were 29.70C, 989mB air pressure and humidity 77%, while the average breakdown voltage of ceramic milan was 9.12kV, where condition during the test was 29.10C, 990 mB air pressure, relative humidity 79% and for brands essenza average breakdown voltage 39.68kV, under a testing temperature of 29.90C, pressure 989 mB air and 66% humidity. Of the three types the ceramic platinum brand was most easily penetrated by the voltage. This is do caused by the existing cavities in the ceramics and does not meet the standard ceramic or solid materials and most of them have the ability to withstand the breakdown voltage ceramic materials essenza brands.

Abstract

Room server is a room that is used to store server computers and network devices. Room server is important assets for companies or institutions that implement information technology as a support in their daily activities. The importance of that is because in the server room there are applications and databases that store all important and valuable information for the company or institution concerned, therefore the server room must always be in good condition. Design of temperature and humidity monitoring systemsis designed to detect changes in temperature and humidity in the room using ESP8266 Node MCU as the main control, then use DHT 11 as a temperature and humidity detection sensor, then the data will be sent to the Telegram application already installed on the smartphone and displayed in the LCD. If the MQ-2 gas sensor detects a smoke greater than 500 ppm, the buzzer active. With this tool, it is expected to be able to monitor the real time room temperature and humidity in the server room so that it can reduce the damage to the hard drive or other damage.

Abstract

To full fill the requirements of electric power to the customer economically, the company have to able to predict the requirements of electric power itself accurately. The study is aimed to see how multi linear regression works due to forecast con-sumption of electric power. There are five sectors of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta which has been research field, they are household, business, industrial, general and total sec-tors. The formulas are used and developed based on multi linear regression including the requirements itself. The main tool to support the analysis utilized Matlab (Matrix La-boratory) programming. The study succeeds to develop regression model for each sector.
